I found the shop by luck from my google search. Reviews look promising & as I was traveling alone I wanted to find a trusted shop if I could. Well, I did! Grady got me with a tow truck, got my trailer situated at his shop and even let me use his utilities as we had to stay the night to wait on the part. He ended up saving me $300 on the part (my vacuum pump went out) and had us back on the road by the next morning. I wish he wasn't a 3 1/2hr drive to get to otherwise he'd be my new mechanic!! Thank you Grady!!!

Saved Our Family Camping Trip - Honest, Fast, and Amazing Service!…read more J&W Auto is nothing short of a miracle shop! My family and I were over 350 miles from home on a camping trip at Suwannee River Rendezvous when our Denali suddenly started running horribly just as we were heading out to the springs. After a quick stop at O'Reilly's to pull the codes (which didn't help much), I asked for a recommendation, and they pointed me to J&W. I'm SO glad they did. I rolled in around 3:15 PM on a Wednesday, explained our situation, and let them know we had to be on the road by the next morning. Most shops would've either turned us away or seen us as an opportunity to charge a premium, knowing we were in a bind. But not J&W. They got us in immediately, diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had us back on the road by 4:30--just over an hour later! The price was incredibly fair, the service was honest, and the kindness they showed us was unforgettable. Thanks to J&W, our family trip was saved and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time without a hitch. I truly hope I never have car trouble on a camping trip again--but if I do, I know exactly where I'm going. Highly, highly recommend!

I stopped in Precision the next day because my car was pulling severely bad to the right and I didn't want to drive all the way if it was unsafe. They were extremely busy, but they took time out to not only look at my car but to also align it and drive it to make sure it was safe for me to continue my drive and drive back home (Mississippi), the lady at the front desk was soooo sweet and even turned on Toy Story while we waited. They had my car back to the way it was before the accident in less than two hours. I was amazed and I will forever be grateful for their kindness to me!!! DO NOT... and I mean do not take your vehicle here…read more They are not what they appear... they are scammers in a small town. How they operate in a town as small as live oak where your reputation is everything.... I don't know. Listen... Mr.Reese seemed like a kind man, I had a truck towed there. The driver of the truck said the tow would be $95. I get to Reese's to pick up the truck... ($170 to replace x1 plug, and to 'clean' x1 small connector piece in the battery ) He says (Mr.Reese, the owner) "Well I don't know what happened... that tow truck guy told me to charge y'all $135. Little fat guy. Must've had a hell of a time getting that thing on the truck! Them guys are always trying to make money" Hm. I paid Mr. Reese ($301, for the now $135 tow and $170 plug replacement) I ask for the tow truck company number... I am just curious as to where the $45 surplus from the tow truck came from. I call them.... And they say 'no Ma'am, we charge $95-105 for that tow. Reese charged you the rest" I was like what.... So I go back inside to confront him.... He said "Ma'am my time is valuable and I called them for you" ahh the truth comes to light! Then why LIE he literally said that the tow truck company must be scamming me.... But it was HIM! Ohhhh Mr.Reese.... You didn't think I could call them and see what happened?? Y'all I am just shocked that what seems like a sweet old family ran small business is just a bunch of scammers... I 100% agree time is valuable, why I'm not bitching about the $170 to replace a plug and clean a piece. Ok, I'll eat that. I also called the tow truck company (Dennis Garage Inc. out of Jasper, great company) to let them know what Reese was saying. He is up charging and then blaming them for it...
