Today is Monday, around 6pm, I actually just got a call from Malden Animal Hospital's Jill, asking me how Peanut is doing!! I was floored!! For the years followed, I had Kathleen taking care of benny a few times, each time a one or two week long vacation. She never let me down! She was on time, paying attention and very professional. She kept records in detail on Benny's behavior. She had a checklist of her duties and Benny's routine. She had yummy treats (they are even organic!) at her own cost for benny. She gave Benny plenty of exercise time. Recently we moved to Woburn which was about 8 miles away. I was wondering if Kathleen would still come to walk Benny. She did! She still offered me the same low rate which never changed for the past four years and she came with a pot of beautiful flowers as a gift to our new house! That was so nice of her! For any extended daycare stay, she is typically disgusting, and comes back pretty matted. This time she came back smelling clean with no mats. The manager mentioned to me that she and some other staff had taken her to the self service area of destination dog to get her cleaned up. My girl is a fluffy cloud with a double coat so matting is a serious problem for her and sometimes her nether regions, well, need some clean up despite her sanitary cut. I really appreciate their attention to detail, and my wallet and her groomer appreciate that she will not need a 6 hour grooming appointment following this visit! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Jennifer made a great impression at the introductory visit during which--in her personable, calm and mature manner--she paid careful attention to an avalanche of explanations and caveats (self-avowed control freak here!). Subsequently, we used Jennifer's services on short day excursions as well as two-week overseas trips, sometimes on relatively short notice. Our girls have some digestive and other health issues and are on a complex schedule of oral medications and supplements, so it was very comforting to know that Jennifer was able to spread her three daily visits well over the day to ensure even spacing between meals and meds. She reliably provided us with updates and was always very responsive to questions or comments from our end. From last minute schedule changes to dealing with all my dog's idiosyncrasies and health issues, they have consistently been understanding and accommodating. Recently Tally had to miss several walks because she was in the hospital. When I finally picked her up in the hospital, we came home to a get well card and a new toy from GWTD.
