I bought this leather recliner and complained that it made too much noise going up and down from the overpacked leather that rubs. Guzman told me they all do that. My previous lazyboy never did this. His idea is to put baby powder in between the areas that rub. I have been doing this with a mess each time. Not acceptable. Then he sent me leather conditioner to rub In between the areas that rub. Hey Guzman stop bull......... the chair is still doing it a year or more later. He wouldn't exchange it for another chair. Basically said too bad. Horrible service. Bought a sleeper sofa. Gave measurements they said it would fit. When delivered driver refused to bring into house he said it would not fit. He told us we would get a credit or refund, but we had to go back to the store. Went back to the store to get our refund after looking at every other couch in the store for possible fit. The manager charged us 6% surcharge for the credit card. When we were shopping in the store, the sales person wanted to sell us the same exact couch that we had to return. He also insisted it would fit. The manager would not give us full Credit, insisted on charging us the 6% surcharge. There was nothing else we could do except Take what she was offering and walk out the store. Plan on reporting this to other organizations. Nowhere in the store did it say there is a 3% surcharge for every time they swipe our credit card. Would take my business elsewhere. read more

The service here is sadly very poor, especially with one woman who works here in particular--she's very rude which is unfortunate, as we really liked coming to this store. Every time we have interacted with her over the phone kindly, she's very abrasive. I never leave bad reviews but have been caught off guard by this person being rude multiple times at basic questions or situations, it makes for a super awkward encounter. I don't understand the negative reviews about Furniture outlet. Our experience was the exact opposite. Went there on Wednesday to look for a bed not expecting much. We liked how the store was arranged. Roger was a great help. He was pleasant and helpful without being pushy. Ended up buying a bed frame, a tv stand and a recliner. Delivery was impressive too. Wow ... good Lord ... yikes ... &%$!. Pick any expletive you like because this place deserves it. I hope the owner sees this review and is able to make some employee and manager changes. This is the WORST furniture store in Bend purely because of their manager Tamara and their employee, Lance. We've been shopping around for a new bedroom set. We've looked loosely at Costco, Ashley, M Jacobs but finally settled on Furniture Outlet because we fell in love with the bed/dresser combo we found there. We spent nearly a thousand dollars and looked forward to getting our new house set up. Unfortunately, everything fell apart when my husband called to get a rough estimate on a shipping date. (A shipping date wasn't listed on our receipt). They told my husband they'd call him back since everyone on the floor was busy. They didn't. So he called again. Lance picked up the phone and said everyone was still busy. Lance was rude and ended up hanging up on the hubs. Hubs called back and asked to talk to someone in charge but Lance hung up on him AGAIN. (Really? Who's running this business, high schoolers?) At that point, and since it was our lunch break, we got in the car to cancel our order face to face. There are plenty of options in Bend and online, there's no need to spend your hard-earned money or your time on this ridiculous place with their insane non-customer service. Customer service truly does matter and this would have all gone differently if Lance had been kind and hadn't hung up on us twice like a 15-year-old child. Anyway, on our way there Tamara, the manager, called and basically made a bunch of excuses. She said nothing about her employee hanging up on a customer who had spent close to a thousand dollars in their store. She could have cared less about the whole situation. (Our conversation with her was definitely the final nail in their coffin.) Bonus or sad, depending on how you look at it: My mom is buying new furniture for her bedroom and guest room as well. I told her we found something we liked at Furniture Outlet and she was headed over there today to buy what she needed. We order some bedroom furniture and the nightstands where on back order. We already received the dresser. We waited and waited. Then we learned it wasnt coming till for 2 more months. We went to the store seeking some explanation. Talked to the owner and he was very accommodating and let us switch the bedroom set for another set that was in stock. He was very kind and nice to us. When we moved at the beginning of last year, we purchased thousands of dollars in couches, beds, dressers, and end tables. We were sold on the fact that they and their manufactures had the best service and warranties. When we had an issue, and attempted to get ahold of them, it took multiple contacts and weeks for a response. When we were told we would be contacted by the service department, it never happened. One of the sales guys did follow up himself more than a month after the original issue, and was told there was nothing they could do. This place is great and decent priced compared to the other 3 furniture places i went to before this one. We went with a smaller sectional. It is so comfy, and soft! We went in on Saturday and our couch is being delivered to Redmond on Wednesday! Lauren helped us and she was great. She was super sweet and very honest about everything. Oh man, I wish we had read the reviews before coming in! Customer service on the floor was scarce so I began to browse eventually making my way to the back warehouse where a salesman began to follow me around, not even asking if I needed assistance...creepy much? And what did he think I was going to do, steal a entertainment center?! I approached another sales person at the front desk to ask if they price matched, after all they have a giant red banner that promises in all caps "NOBODY BEATS OUR PRICES!" I showed them exact same product (matching product code and everything for the 46") for sale at Walmart for nearly $130 less and was told that they would absolutely not match it and that I should take my business elsewhere. I have no idea how they stay in business but after price checking several other items in there store to the original manufacturer (i.e. Ashley home furniture) it is clear that these people are crooks, and unhappy people. We purchased an expensive leather couch with an extended warrantee. While still under the initial factory warrantee, we called and sent pictures of the flaking off of the color in several places. It has electric recliners on each end and one stopped working. They suggested that something may be caught in the mechanism which was correct and my husband fixed that area. They gave us a number to the warrantee company and we started a claim. They denied it & said not covered under the policy. frustrated, I called Tamera the manager. She stated there is nothing they can do. I have contacted 3 leather companies and 2 did not return my call and the third said to contact Furniture Outlet and try to purchase a piece of leather and they will quote a price to replace the headrest. Several calls later with no return calls , I have given up. They win but we will NEVER shop there again. Buyer beware. read more

I belive I purchased a chair that was built on a Friday before a long weekend. The cushions where not filled properly. Getting the boys to understand my issue over the phone was impossible. I had to take it back and show it to them. They did get it fixed somewhat. The seat and the back are fixed but the armrests are more wood than cushion. Especially at the part where my elbows hit. After having it now for about three months it rocks side to side just about as much as it does front to back. I do not recommend! read more

My experience at furniture outlet couldn't have been better. I had sold all of my very old furniture prior to a major remodel and was in desperate need of a new sectional sofa. The sales people at furniture outlet were super friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. They let me take home multiple samples so I could see how fabrics would look in my house. When I finally made the decision to purchase, the transaction was super smooth. They told me my sofa would be finished in 3 to 5 weeks and it was delivered one day before the three week mark. The delivery guys were amazing, I was having trouble with the lock on my front door and couldn't get it open but they delivered it through my front window. My new sofa is just beautiful. We bought a kitchen table here about a year ago and had great service/deliver etc and love the table. Decided to head here again for a living room couch and when searching foe the address came across some bad reviews but we were going anyway since we had perfectly good service the first time. Anyway went it looked around no one was pushy at just very helpful with the few questions we had. Lance was the main guy that helped us, easy going nice guy. Ended up buying the couch but went back the next day (today) to pick it all up. Met Lance again - very friendly everything was ready foe us. We ended up adding in a king bed and we love everything we brought home today and I have to say I thought the service was excellent- lance was really wonderful to work with easy going funny and knowledgeable. I don't know how people had bad experiences but we are 2:2 or 3:3 depending on how you look at. And the furniture is nice and great prices on top of it. Okay, so after spending $3,000 on sectional couch and extended warranty for $300+ . we received it 2 months later and were excited when we received the call for the delivery day only to find out that they order two left side-ends...so they took it back and we had to wait another 3 weeks because of their mistake. (No discount or anything) Fast forward 3 weeks the couch was delivered and the back framing weren't lining up but the "delivery guys" who work for the company said its "normal it'll adjust as you use the couch" he assured us even after we asked a couple more times. Now thats just the icing. We moved to another state and the couch got minor damages so we figured, hey lets use the warranty we purchase because the "salesman assured us it'll cover any damages 100% plus they will even fill the pillows back up if they start to flatten" all this was bullshit we been going back in forth with furniture Outlet which are no help and blames us for not contacting them About the frame not lining up even after one of their associates told totally bullshit about it self-adjusting and then the minor damages that occurred was not at all Covered by the warranty and we can only use the "extended warranty" after the 1 year mark manufactured expires which is not what we were told At all and the best part? They claim that the warranty company services all 50 states then tells us "oh no they only service 4 states" and the one we moved too isn't one of them, so now we going back and forth with the makers of the couch, furniture outlet bs customer service and the warranty company which are all contradicting each other and pointing the figure furniture outlet for their brutal lies. Went in looking for a chair and had a lot of specific needs. Roger helped me and my husband and he was wonderful. He introduced himself and said he would not "hover" but said we just need to ask him if we had any questions. He spent a lot of time with us showing us a specific chair, patiently answered all questions and was kind and professional. We did buy the chair primarily because Roger was so helpful and answered all our questions. He got some of his warehouse staff to load the chair into our car and told us to feel free to reach out if we ever had any problems with the chair. Wish all salespeople were as kind, professional and helpful as Roger. His manager is lucky to have him as an employee. read more

I purchased a sofa-sectional from the owner David Guzman. The order was delivered to my home about 12 days later but upon delivery, a section of the sofa had a very loud annoying squeaking noise. I wanted to have it replaced since it was brand new but they refused and said they had to repair the unit and could not replace it. So, a week later, they had a repair professional come to my home and attempt to repair the sofa but it was determined it could NOT be fixed. They agreed to come back to my home and picked up the sofa and David authorized a full refund back to my credit card. Unfortunately,being told they would issue a refund and ACTUALLY GETTING ONE H AS PROVEN TO BE A DIFFERENT STORY. After they agreed, almost 2 weeks had gone by and they still NEVER issued a credit back to my credit card. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. My bank called them on the phone and inquired as to why they did not follow through with the refund that was promised. On Nov.19, they sent me a so-called refund receipt via email showing a refund but now ANOTHER full week has passed and they still have NOT ISSUED THE PROMISED CREDIT back to my bank and now the refund is again under dispute a second time. I had been repeatedly told by David how honest and customer service oriented his store is and they have survived during the slow years and have been in business for over 20 years etc. but my experience with this store has been nothing short of unpleasant, unprofessional, and very stressful fighting to get a promised refund. I will be filing a small claims action against this company if they still fail to follow through on my refund! Word of advice.... go elsewhere. Their prices on Ashley Furniture are the same suggested retail price as found in other stores so if you think your getting some amazing deal, your not! I purchased an Ashley furniture sectional with the added 5 year warranty. Within 2 months the cushions started breaking down and the fabric is pilling HORRIBLY. The warranty doesn't kick in until I've had it for a year. I called Furniture Outlet and Ashley furniture. They're replacing only the cushions when it's the whole sectional. No returns. No exchanges. I have older kids. No pets allowed on it, we are not hard on our furniture by any means. I'm so disappointed and upset. I'll never buy from either place again. read more

Worst customer service ever. We bought a bedroom set from them. We asked very specific questions: was it made of hard wood, was everything put together with dove tail. We were told yes to both questions, however on receiving the item NEITHER was true. When we called to tell them they had given us the wrong thing and that we had asked specific questions to make sure we got the right thing they told us no returns. NOTHING! The worker even admitted that he has answered incorrectly. However, the company would still not let us return it. I repeat NOTHING was done when it was their mistake. No refund no nothing. My husband and I have been past customers several times over the past few years and have spent a good deal of money here. We stopped in today and we completely ignored by staff to the point that I had to go to the desk where all of the employees were and ask for help. I told the employee that finally acknowledged me what we were looking for and was directed accordingly. We were seated to look at catalogs to look for a selection . The employee came back with another customer (who by the way ALSO had to go to the desk area and ask for help!) as she stated her needs he proceeded to tell her that I was looking at the catalog that she needed and they proceeded to both stare at me until I relinquished the catalog , I handed the catalog to them and promptly collected up my things never to return as a customer, I will pay a bit more elsewhere to get the customer service! We had an absolutely horrible experience purchasing our King bed set. Apparently they have been in business for 20 years, but I don't see how this is possible. When we picked up our bed set we were given mix matched sets (different boxes for each). Of course, we did not discover this until we drove 30 miles home and began to assemble the bed set. However, the worst part of the experience was when we went back the next day to explain to the manager that he had given us the wrong pieces (some wood was cherry and some was a dark ash) he was EXTREMELY rude and argued with me for 15 minutes telling me that I was not given the wrong box. I had never been treated so poorly in a business and been called a liar. Particularly when I had pictures and brought pieces of the set to show him the color difference! He finally went in the back to look and, long and behold, there was the box I SHOULD have been given. I was completely appalled by the horrible service, unprofessionalism, and lack of common sense that I experience while dealing with the employees. read more
