My favorite furniture store in Santa Rosa! Hilda is amazing! I recently bought a home and needed to furnish it completely. Hilda took the time to sit with me and put together a design plan for my whole house- a week and a half later my home was completely furnished! Furniture 2000 not only has the best customer service, but has the best selection under one roof. I'm a happy customer : ) Wish I can rate it 10 stars! read more

It's hard for me to rate this place soon as how I walked in and was looking around for eight or nine minutes and never received any help or asked any questions I did hear and see two people sitting in the back room on the floor. He seem like there's having fun so I left them alone and left. read more

Hilga was very knowledgeable and making it a positive experience. Also giving me the space necessary to arrive at a decision. This is my second time buying furniture from Hilga and definitely would buy again. read more

I had hard time finding a nice and cheap bed until I came here. The worker was very helpful and kind he help me find a perfect bed for me.

Just moved to the area and desperately needed some sofa's and a nice chair - that all matched. Living in SF everyone uses furniture that's been at the place since many roomies gone by - but now, embarking on being a real adult here - in my 40's, guess it's taken me some time to get here. I am greeted by Chavez, a nice guy that actually has a sense of style, he's walking around making sure pillows are in the right place and the place looks tip-top. We must've checked out 12 sofa's for sitting - I don't want to sink into the couch, makes it hard to stand up w/ my bad knees. Chavez gives me some time, checks in and then BAM - he's ready to deal after I ask one question. This got me excited because it's a HUGE showroom loaded with good quality stuff. You would DEFinitely not know that from the outside of the store. The area is ...................not pretty is an extreme underestimate of everything close by - the area looks run down, but you walk into Furniture 2000 and it's big and beautiful (just like me - so I'm told). In the end - I buy 2 sofas - nice and firm, and for a small amount he throws in this beautiful dark brown leather reclining chair (think lazy boy), and free delivery. This would've cost me $2200 and I got it for 1400+ tax!! A phenomenal deal and now my house is furnished. SWEET. read more

Scammers and worst customer service ever.Spent almost $4000 on furnitures and when they dekivered the bed parts ,they tried to scam with marker painted damaged piece. It's been 3 months and whenever I call to see when they would be able to replace the parts...its either not me the one who sold the furniture or it's coming after 3 weeks, then 3 weeks later calling to see again 3 weeks, then another 3 weeks. No intention of writing bad reviews for anyone but just want to warn future buyers to not get into these scamming sellers.VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON TOP OF THAT. read more

This place is a joke!! I've bought plenty of furniture from this place. But the service sucks ! My couch the "leather" started unstitching and it's a place no one sits at so not something anyone did and the animals are not allowed on furniture. They refuse to help me or exchange I'm not asking for money. There policy is a scam and so is this company. I'm so mad I paid 1200 for a couch for it to be cheap and shitty. I will never ever ever buy anything from this place I've bought 8 beds from this company tables couches coffee tables etc. my daughter and son in law are in need of a new bed but I will not let them waste their money on anything in this store . Please don't buy from this place. Biggggg Scammmmers read more

Furniture 2000 - Furniture Stores Near Me - Santa Rosa, California

This is the first review I ever write and quite honestly I did it because of my experience at Furniture 2000. I have bought almost all my house furniture from this store and I have nothing but great things to say about the owners and my furniture. I love my couches they were the best price for such great quality. All of my children's beds and my bed were also purchased there. My kitchen table is beautiful and Hilda even gave me tips on what end chairs go well with the table, which I would have never thought of. I just recently went to buy another piece of furniture and like always they gave me a real good price for the quality. I highly recommend this furniture store both locations have helped me make a house my home. read more

My family and I have purchased Furniture from this place for many many years. Hilda and the current crew are very nice and helpful.. they offer great deals for and even better prices for loyal customers.. we always come back to this place. Highly recommend this furniture shop. My mom recently purchased a bedroom set and a living room set and Hilda managed to get it to us in a timely manner even during this pandemic. Thank you again I will continue to buy from them. read more

Wish I could give this place a negative rating!!!! Bought a dining room table set & slightly less than a month later two (of the four chairs) horizontal leg supports dowels came undone from the legs! I called Hilda and was told there's no returns or exchanges. Seriously? On an $800 purchase you'd think they'd be willing to at least let me bring in the chairs & look at them. Horrible horrible customer service. They were beyond rude. If I thought it would help- I'd stand outside with HUGE this place sucks signs. The old owners were so much better. read more

We had set a tentative delivery date as it took them over a week to get what we ordered. They we're supposed to call and confirm the delivery date as we were out of town. They showed up at 5:45pm on a Friday evening, without letting us know they were coming. When they they arrived, I said who did you talk to? "Um no one, but we tried calling". I don't blame the delivery guys, but I do blame whoever was in charge of scheduling. The delivery should have been confirmed as discussed on the phone. The room that the items were supposed to go into wasn't ready. So I asked them for some time to clear it out. He then asked if he can just leave the items without assembling them as agreed. I of course said no you can't. I'll update the review if they do a decent job of installation, but as of now I can't recommend this company. read more

So I went in to complete my order with the company and the sales person was Danny and he absolutely understood my point of view and he worked with me to come to a decision both of us were happy with. He is a truly good business man and good human being. I didn't feel taken advantage of... the complete opposite, actually. He explained to me it is a family run business and they want to gain lifelong, loyal customers... not just one time, one stop shoppers and it shows. I will be back each and every time I need a new piece of furniture which will be often considering I am just starting my collection. Thanks! Went in to make my second purchase and Danny came through again! I don't have enough good things I could say about him. He is a very good business man and I want to believe that he is giving me the best deal he can. Thanks again! read more

My husband and I have been buying furniture from this furniture store for many years. We have never had an issue. We recently purchased new leather couches and was hoping to have the same good experience as we have always had. They delivered them and both pieces had scratches on the arms. We told Javier and he tried to talk me into a new rug instead of giving me a new couch. WTH? Now not 3 months later one of the arms fell off. We called Javier and he told my husband nothing I can do. Google a repair person. We will never buy another piece of furniture from that man again. You'd think he would try to help since we have been loyal customers for years. Javier is not very helpful and professional when it comes to issues. read more

Great people, great prices. My family has bought furniture from them for years. I would recommend them for all your furniture needs.

Best furniture in Santa Rosa. Everyone should be shopping there're. Highly recommended

Well well we'll , where do we start... it's a common misconception that if you go to a poorer neighborhood you will get a better price on things. These people pull numbers out of there ass ... one day it's $5,000 the next day it's $2800. The left hand does not know what the right is doing. Helda is rude as faawwk. I wanted to do business with this place but they clearly don't want it. Reputation means nothing. read more

Do not trust these owners. They are shady and don't honor what they sell you. We purchased a bunk bed for out 6 year old son and were sold an "upgrade" which was two drawers that went u set the bed where it would normally have just a wood face there. They came out and installed everything and after they left I realized the drawers weren't connected to anything. They were just loose under the bed. They had installed sliding rails however on the drawers but not on the frame of the bed. Before I could have this addressed the fires hit. We were evacuated and paper work has since been misplaced including out receipt for the bunk bed. I remember watching the news the day of the fires and seeing the owner on the news with his furniture store behind him. He was saying how fortunate he was that they didn't lose the store because the gun shop right behind them burned to the ground. They had only experienced smoke damage. After things settled down I called and spoke with the husband that owns the place. He told me this was the way the bed was designed and he didn't know why. I asked if I could have the manufacture information but he stated he didn't know it. I guess he doesn't know anything about the products he sells. He told me it all comes from China and he doesn't have any info on anything he sells. There's another flag for you all if you're thinking of buying there. He then told me I needed to bring in my receipt because he lost everything in the fire. After I heard him say this I called him out on it because I knew it wasn't true. He then told me he had to go because he had a customer waiting. I told him that I AM A CUSTOMER to which he said "not anymore" and hung up on me. I tried calling right back but got his cell phone voicemail. The next day I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. He changed his story about the fire stating that he lost all sales records that were in a different building. Not sure what kind of business man doesn't keep things backed up on a hard drive. I'm a graphic designer and even if my computer get blown up everything is saved to the cloud. After going back and forth with the BBB they stated I now had to give them proof of purchase which I don't know where in the world it is. My complaint was closed. This company is horrible. They could care less about their customers. My son can hardly operate these drawers because they don't belong on this furniture. This "upgrade" was clearly a way for them to sell after season left over stuff that fit but doesn't belong on the furniture. There's no reason for a furniture manufacturer to add sliding rails to the drawers if they aren't required. It's a cost thing. Why add something that will cost them more to build if it's not needed? I used to repair furniture for a living for all the major companies and never saw something like this. They are point blank, selling things that don't belong. Now I'm stuck with a pile of crap that doesn't function and they refuse to fix it. I shouldn't have to show proof of purchase to them. They should have the info. How are they going to report their earning to the IRS if everything burned. Lots of people lost everything from these fires and for this man to claim something like this is horrible. Don't buy from them. They will do it to you as well. read more

Be careful with their 90 days no interest. I had $1700 approved credit. For 90 days there was no interest & the monthly payment for 3 months was $315 a month every 15th of each month. Therefore after 90 days my balance was only $755 to pay. They told me that the $755 should be paid on the 23rd, 7 days after the 3rd payment if not I will pay a total of $2,835 from a balance of $755 because of interest. If I don't pay the $755 on the 23rd they will continue the monthly payment of $315 every month for 9 months. So with a furniture purchased of $1700 and don't pay in full your end total for your furniture is $3780 meaning an interest of 45percent. Be very careful of this gimmick. If you can't pay the balance after 90 days then you'd be paying an interest of 45 percent for everything. This is outrageous rip off on poor and ignorant people. Their receipt from the store isn't even itemized. You don't know how much furniture you are paying for. They'll just write a big amount on the receipt. No sales tax, no deliver charge is shown. Then at the end they'll tell you "you got a good deal with a big discount". Be very careful in dealing with them. You are the customer and you need to assert your right to know the details of your purchase. read more

This place won't last. My sister and I decided to visit because we saw an ad in the paper. We were each looking to furnish an apartment ( two separate apartments, mind you). And if the salesperson didn't run away when he saw us coming in, he would've known this. No hello, how can I help you. NOTHING. How can you make a sale when you run away from your customers, don't greet them and then just stare at them from across the store. Sucks for them I guess. We would've been a very nice sale for them for the day. Guess we'll be taking our money elsewhere. Our money isn't good enough for this store apparently. Shame on you. read more

My husband & I went here to buy a recliner for my 87 year-old mother. A younger person was there who didn't really seem like he knew much about the products. I almost walked out. I now wish I had. We ended up talking to the owner who wheeled and dealed, & convinced us to buy 2 chairs, offering us all sorts of deals...One of the chairs we ordered was supposedly already on order, and we were told that the other chair would come in soon, and both would be delivered the same day. 2-3 weeks later, our chair was delivered. The delivery guys couldn't drop the chair off fast enough. We then realized there was no paperwork/ documentation of the product, guarantees, etc. My husband called the store and a lady said she'd call back in 5. Close to an hour later, we finally got a call, after my husband had to call again. Apparently 'she was busy'. The end result was if she couldn't get a hold of the delivery guys, she would put the paperwork in the mail. Oh, by the way, they delivered the wrong color chair. We ended up keeping the chair, deciding it was a better color. Still no chair for my mom. We are now closing in on a month, and after phoning today, I got a song and dance, that maybe the chair would be in next week...the word is, the lady, (her name was Hilda- she talked really fast, and kept interrupting & talked over me) she would talk to the owner and try to work a 'deal' because of the delay of order...personally, I don't think the chair was ordered in the first place. Still waiting...& wish I had read these reviews before we went there. read more

Worst customer service ever! They are all nice and everything before you buy their stuff and after that they don't care at all! It's like they want me to regret buying from them. Delivery took almost two weeks. I had to call them myself instead of them calling me to make an appointment for the delivery. How am I supposed to know when they received my stuff at the store? The person finally gave me a day but no delivery time and at that moment I forgot to ask too. I called again and the woman on the phone was literally telling me I am very wrong and it was all my fault. Yelp needs to have a negative star that I could give this store! read more

I just walked into this store and received the worse service you could think of. I first asked if there was any couches that they sell that are leather couches. The man that was there automitcally says no you have to special order them and there 4,000 and over. I said that's fine, but do you think that you could get me that couch over there in all leather not with the cloth or at least that style of couch i all leather. He automatically says no. He didn't even let me go on to explain what I was looking for. What pissed me off even more is that I was willing to buy a couch for 4,000 if it would last and the leather were real, and at that I was already looking at a 2000 dining room set. This alone would have been a 6,000 sale. If I need to walk in wearing heals and a suit in order to be treated like my money matters and not like some bum off the street then I guess I should of done that. But I will NEVER go into this store again. . . I sure hope that man working today is not the owner. read more
