Our restaurant, Between the Buns, started using Moving Targets about 8 years ago. Our email handler (Scott) is great. He's fast & attentive to my needs. Plus the emails received from them have great marketing tips. Overall, Moving Targets is a very good company and I'm glad we're working with them.

When we first started we would offer insanely cheap deals and specials but it still wouldn't bring in good solid customers, it would just bring in the coupon chasers. Then a friend who also owns a independent pizzeria told us about moving targets. Moving Targets has helped our small business out tremendously! It directly mails a welcome letter that grabs your attention right off the bat and we offer a medium two topping pizza( which is a $10 value) absolutely free to try! At first I was hesitant, why would I want to give away free pizza, and how would this get me new customers? Then I discovered that the key to getting new customers is having them sample your products. You can make as many great coupons as you want but when someone knows which pizzeria they like it's hard to get them to jump ship and come inside your restaurant, but with a free pizza coupon how could they lose? If they don't like it at least they didn't have to pay for it, but the thing we have seen the most is people do like it and they would have never thought of trying us before. Also, the now have our full menu which we attached to every box, which has our web address, online ordering, and phone number and we've noticed this year alone our sales have increased by 30%!! This is the only form of advertising that we do and it has generated us enough business to only have to do this! We are a very busy pizzeria and we just won Detroit's best independent pizzeria in metro Detroit for 2014 on www.clickonDetroit.com. We love moving targets and we highly recommend using them if you currently are not! They are a great company and they go above and beyond for their customers, I also love reading Jays email tips, they are extremely useful! This is a great company and business and I am proud to be working with them! Slice of the 80's Pizza 34747 Warren Rd. Westland MI 48185

H&R Block

H&R Block

My dealings with H&R Block, Perkasie, PA branch......The price I was told was not the price I ended…read moreup paying. For one thing, I told them NOT to do the PA tax. My one appointment was cancelled due to "software" issues that lasted 3 weeks. I was told I could pick up my packages at the receptionists desk, and she asked me to sign miscellaneous papers. I stated that I did not review the package and was told that the papers I had to sign were for H&R Block. Issues were discussed at the front counter while other customers were seated behind me listening to everything that was discussed, instead of asking me to step into a cubicle for privacy. I left and went home to review the packet of papers. Called Vickie with questions and asked about the vouchers that were missing. She told me to come in and pick them up at the front desk, which I did and I requested to speak with a Manager, and Tammy took me to her cubicle to discuss the above. I left disgusted when I got an answer about the pricing, she stated "read the fine print". Received on 4/18/24 a letter from the PA Dept. of Revenue, that there was a penalty that I owe. Went back to the Perkasie branch with the letter and asked for the District Manager's phone number. Tammy denied me. She said she would have "Sandy" call me - which never happened. I showed Tammy the letter and she stated "just ignore it". She stated the penalty was due to PA Dept. of Revenue calculating my return different from the way H&R calculates. I also asked for a copy of Form 8879 that was not in my packet. Tammy got upset until I went to my car and retrieved the packet and she could not find the form. I also requested a letterhead with an H&R Block heading, stating, that they recommended ignoring the states letter and penalty. Apparently H&R Block have no letterheads, per Tammy, nor do they have a District Manager that returns calls to clients. I returned home to find a voice message on my phone from the Perkasie Police Department asking me to call them, which I did, and they requested I stay out of the Perkasie branch. It looks to me that they don't stand behind every return they prepare, as they advertise. This branch is not "customer orientated". Dave H.

Beware of pricing!!…read more I made my appointment online for an in-person tax appointment for Tuesday 3/2 at 3:00pm, and received a confirmation text of my appointment.  On Monday 3/1 I received a 2nd text reminder/confirmation of my appointment.  Upon arrival at my appointment on Tuesday I was told by (the person whom I was scheduled to meet with) that I had to drop off my papers.  I replied that I made an in-person appointment because I needed some help with understanding what was needed, and had some questions with regards to the recovery rebate credit since I never received my 2nd stimulus payment.  At that point she told me that they aren't doing in office appointments and that I could reschedule at another location.  I don't understand why I wasn't informed about any of this when I made an appointment in the first place - or why this option is even available for scheduling online if they are doing them at this location.  Why was I not contacted prior to walking into my appointment?  I was told me that there is insufficient space for in person appointments at their location.  At this point, I felt I had very little choice but to leave my papers - but wasn't sure what information would be needed.  Instead of going to her desk to review, we went through all my private documentation in the lobby area - no further apart than had we been at a private cubicle.  I turned all my paperwork over to her and presented her with a new customer coupon for $25 off my preparation.  Pricing of the preparation was not discussed, but when I scheduled online I saw $79 advertised. When the accountant called 3 days later to tell me my taxes were finished and ready to pick up, she informed me that the preparation cost was $439 after my $25 coupon.  This was very upsetting to me, and I couldn't understand why these extreme costs weren't discussed prior to leaving the paperwork.  I have spoken with several other people who have used H&R Block for their tax preparation and they all confirmed that this is extraordinarily high, and about twice what they have paid.  I feel strongly that I was taken advantage of and that this pricing was extreme. I don't feel this pricing was fair, and even know people who have had their much more complicated business taxes completed for less.
