I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. The DJ portion of their entertaining came pretty close to absolute level for my wife and I on our recent wedding day. Things started way before the wedding with the fact that Absolute was a preferred vendor to our venue and so we gave them a shot to start the DJ searching process. Well after meeting with Matty, we were sold. I don't know if it was his energy, friendliness, truthfulness, or the fact that he reminded us of Ryan Reynolds, but something clicked and we signed on the dotted line that day. This contract included their new mirror photo booth along with a custom rustic DJ booth that was specific for our venue (how cool is that!?). Now I mention the photo booth because that'll come back into play in a bit, but first let's jump into the lead up before the wedding and the big day itself. Absolute did a great job in contacting us prior to the wedding and making sure they had all of our information correct as well as the music choices we wanted. We also got a call from Matty (who happened to be our MC for the wedding) and he ran through all of our info again. They definitely did a thorough job of preparing. On the day of the wedding, the entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was awesome with Matty and Cliff (the DJ). The music choices that we wanted were played throughout the wedding and all of our must-plays were heard. Yeah maybe here and there we had a song pop up we didn't love, but nobody's perfect. Well, Matty's ability to get people on the dance floor and pump everyone up was pretty close to perfect. He was definitely a highlight of our vendors and something we'll positively remember. Now I haven't mentioned the photo booth because we ended up removing it from our contract. The pictures of their mirror photo booth on Absolute's website didn't match up with the one they were showing on social media posts. Both were nice, but it didn't really fit into our theme/style. A small annoyance in the grand scheme of things, though it also took a little time to hear back from them via email in order to get the photo booth removed. Another minor snafu, but in the entirety of everything, I'd still stick with Absolute and the five stars I threw on this review. Overall, Absolute Entertainment is legit in their ability to bring the party and make your day feel special. Their DJs listen to your music preferences and the MCs are fantastic at making your event that much more enjoyable and fun. Perhaps some side pieces aren't perfect, but in the realm of performance and music, Absolute is pretty darn absolute.

I went over it with him and told him the songs(i was matron of honor) He played the wrong song for the wedding processional ( he played someone to watch over you instead of somewhere over the rainbow) and then he told me that he was playing somewhere over the rainbow when he clearly wasn't. The couple had gone over every detail with him in a personal meeting and over email weeks before, so he should have had this all prepared. The drunk girlfriend sat directly behind the grooms parents during the ceremony loudly making comments and cursing like a trucker directly near the flower girls!!!His girlfriend proceeded to get completely wasted at the cocktail hour, freeloading, and smoked cigarettes and alienated guests as she kept trying to talk to people but was talking nonsense. She nearly tipped over a chair, almost falling into the lake. She then sat in a camping chair with her drink -right next to the dj set up on the dance floor, DURING their FIRST DANCE-getting into all of their pictures!! The photographer and staff asked her to move away. They cut her off from alcohol at that point. She then sat on the speaker swaying around wasted while he was trying to get the dances going. At that point the management asked her to leave and escorted her out. But wait, it gets worse!!! She tried to drive her car back to the reception area from the parking lot ( a road away). The staff had to block her off with two golf carts. She then Drive away endangering people's lives as the police had to be notified. There were also many songs the couple requested that he did not play, and he cut off the majority of their choreographed first dance by asking people to join in when they didn't request that- but those things might have been excusable compared to the conduct of his extremely trashy and belligerent uninvited girlfriend. The other vendors and venue managers said they said never seen anything like this. I have never seen anything so unprofessional as this. Not to mention we have video and pictures proving this all happened! Do not hire this guy!! Stay far away!!
