They shoot you a text to let you know when they'll be dropping off your order and Caitlyn was so polite and pleasant. Her and another employee (I didn't get his name ugh) quickly unloaded the gold chiavari chairs and even put all the cushions on for me. They also provided me with seat covers for pick up. I didn't need them to, but they offered to set up the tables and chairs for me and that was thoughtful. Caitlyn explained the process of how to take care of the chairs and that another person, Joel would be the one picking the order up the next morning. Joel also texted ahead of time and was quick to pick things up. He was also very pleasant. My wife and I used South Florida Events for our wedding, and the buffet style food was excellent,…read morehowever, we do not recommend the catering service for a wedding for a few reasons. When we initially met with the caterer 7 months before our wedding, we had told them that we estimated 130 guests, but it would probably be less. They told us that wouldn't be an issue and to let them know a month out a final guest count. However, a month out from our wedding, they were trying to charge us for a full 130 when we had told them that our guest count was 105 (including the bride & groom). Our wedding planner was able to convince them to charge us for only 115 people, so we ended up inviting another 4 guests since we were paying for the food. So we had 109 guests and were paying for 115. We couldn't believe it and were completely disappointed to later find out that some of the food ran out, specifically the mahi mahi entree, when we had paid for 6 more people than we ended up having in attendance. Those who did not get to eat mahi were given more of the appetizers to compensate. Per our contract we had understood that we paid for more than the amount of actual guests and we can't understand why a main entree had run out before two full tables had been served. The caterer was not only late to the venue for initial set up, but was also very late to serve the food, after it had been blessed and a thank you speech from the father of the bride, to let our guests eat. This lead to many of our guests questioning both my wife and myself when we would actually have dinner. The food was good, but due to the service, we would not recommend this company for your catering needs ever.

At the time of rental we were told that a certain amount of people fit comfortably at each round table. My sister organized her seating charts accordingly and the night before the wedding when the tables and chairs were delivered and set up, the amount that was accounted for could not fit each table without all guests being extremely close to each other and some guests having to sit in an awkward position due to the tight space and poles on the tables. The groom, my brother in law was extremely upset because when I called to politely express my concern and request another table as what was delivered required us re arranging all seating charts, and he heard the tone in which I was being spoken to, he took the phone and took over the call. In a frustrated and stressed tone, s any groom would be the night of the wedding upon his bride being stressed and teary eyed because instead of resting she now had to go out to buy a table cloth for the extra table and go home to remake the seating charts, he even told them we would go pick up the tables, and he would pay whatever needed to be paid but we needed the other table. He was not unreasonably upset, and was not belligerent or obnoxious in his reaction. This was in January/2024. One week ago I emailed Alexia as I wanted to rent a few tables and chairs from her as we have family flying in from out of town for a birthday party (my father's birthday is around the corner as well so we wanted to secure two separate rentals). I never heard back from her. Today I called her and she said "Oh I forgot to answer you". When I asked if she had rectangle tables and how many those would comfortably fit, she asked someone in the background (likely her husband) and went on to inform me that her husband was not inclined to rent to us again due to the "disrespect" of the groom the night of the last rental. I was not the one who paid for the last rental, I simply communicated to Alexia what my sister needed, and they paid for the rental and are the ones who had the agreement with the company. She said " we will not tolerate disrespect". I said I did not disrespect them, she confirmed I didn't but that my brother in law did and that was that rental and so they did not want to rent to me. In fact, the way I was spoken to the night I called concerned asking what our options where to pay for another table, was not exactly warm understanding or a helpful tone. Which is why my brother in law became upset to begin with. But I was willing to rent from them again regardless because I am human and I understand that we can't always catch people on their best mood and at the end of the day I need to rent tables and chairs, not warm cheerful or helpful personalities. I could not believe the lack of professionalism, fairness, promptness in responding to my email, and empathy. Clearly, they are in the wrong line of business if they are going to not take on clients simply because a family member from a separate home, rental and agreement was upset due to their poor customer service on the eve of his wedding. In the end she told me they are not even doing chair and table rentals at the moment, not sure what the purpose of mentioning that was, but it was irrelevant. I would not recommend renting from this business, according to them they aren't even renting chairs or tables at the moment. I am not sure how truthful that was, as she was beginning to answer my questions about long tables before the conversation changed direction.
