The other animals around the farm are kittens, pigs, cows, ponies, goats and ducks. My only critique is I wish there were more staff around monitoring all of the children interacting with the animals especially the kittens. Many of the kittens were trying to get away from the kids but they grabbed them anyway. Not a huge deal and overall I think the animals are well taken care of.

During the last week of July, there were still plenty of lavender, but enough had been cut away to leave some gaps among the "sea of purple." Lavender drinks and food items are a delicious treat, and the gift shop has a variety of great lavender-scented items to take home with you to establish a relaxing environment. The staff here is very helpful in the shop, as well as outside!

I don't carry cash with me too often so I was a little frustrated to find out they only accept cash ($15) if you want to pick a small bundle of lavender. Thankfully we did have cash in our car this time, but I would have been SO disappointed if we spent the time to travel to the island and couldn't pick the lavender. Perhaps they could install an ATM at the farm for the majority of us who have embraced the cashless lifestyle?
