Went here with a group of friends and our kids and had such a great time. The prices were very…read morereasonable and they also had some great package deals which saved us some money. We went on the Super Karts (the faster go karts) they were so much fun and at the end we got a print out of our race times! Then we went on the Drift Karts. The staff wet the drift track down and we got sideways around the whole track!! We played some Laser tag and went on their new ride the Gyroscope...was so dizzy when I got off!!! Then we raced the Slot Cars and rode the Bucking Bull. The kids played in the playground and jumped on the jumping castle, and also played Laser Tag and drove the slot cars with us. There was so much more to do there like Dodgem Cars, Mini Golf, Bowling, Sumo Wrestling and heaps more but we just ran out of time. We will definitely be going back again but will allow more time to do a bit of everything. You need at least 2 and a half hours to 3 hours if you want to try everything!! This place was fun for adults and the kids. I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a way to entertain the kids or have some fun with friends.

It has a little cafe called "Cafe Eden" run out of a caravan-style burger stand thing that they would have at a music festival. It is a very pleasant day trip where kids can feed the rabbits some grass and simply enjoy the concept of being on a farm. I dont like the fact that there are fully functioning electric fences though - this is a bit wierd to me. But other than that it is definitely worth a trip! (to the farm that is - not over the electric fence)...

I actually suspect that the reason for its exitence has something to do with there being a style of Australian art that developed in the region, though this museum doesn't really display any of it, namely because that tend to be elsewhere. This museum really works to promote more modern art, and as such most of the spaces are for exhibitions - there really isn't any art here that is own by the gallery. Mind you, they do have a pretty large outdoor area where there are quite a number of sculptures, and wandering through there is actually free. It is also a great place for a picnic, and while they also have a cafe on premises, it tends to get rather packed at times. Yeah, this place is cool, though one problem is that it can be tricky to get to if you happen to be relying on public transport.

What started off as a retreat for influential and up and coming Australian artists has become a beautiful and unique gallery and space. Walking around the buildings and through the gardens it isn't hard to imagine great artists like Sydney Nolan, or Albert Tucker practicing their work along with the owners and patrons Sunday and John Reid. The Heide Gallery of Modern Art is modest. Its small Australian collection is interesting and well presented. White walls and spacious rooms contribute to a very modern atmosphere, matched by the evocative and sometimes confrontational pieces of work. What I like about Heide is that it's a collective experience. You can't just go and see the gallery without walking around the garden. You can't just see the garden without visiting the old farmhouse. You can't just visit the old farmhouse without walking through the gallery and looking at the Reid's legacy. Take the time to walk around Heide and experience the natural beauty and modern art. You won't regret it.

Keeling racehorses and racegoers separate is a good thing. The staff are generally smiling and chatty. Which is nice to see. The lawns are always well cared for and immaculately groomed. If only the patrons would take a note from the caretakers book! As someone who has done back to back race days I'm always surprised at how fast things get tidied up. Worth a visit to watch the ponies play.

This zoo gives you a chance to see the animals that are local to Australia, like the kangaroo, the koala etc. they have lots of play areas for younger kids. ,a few picnic areas and at different hours they have one of the caretakers come out and talk about a certain species of animal found there. If there are specific topics you are interested in, I would suggest to look at their website and know what time they have their talks and where, to plan for that. The best part for us was at the end they have a bird show at 3pm where the trainers come out to show your a few if the species they take care of and your studio see how well the birds they have are trained. It's pretty impressive. The downside is that it was a bit hot day and most animals are napping in the shade with their face hidden. Perhaps it's better to buy tickets yourself instead of paying a tour company to take you. You will have more time to do as you please. The main issue you will have is how to get there.. but if you are local.. you probably won't have that issue ;)

The fish was as good as any other place and the chips were better than most, as were the potato cakes and dim sims. She said that it was just food... which kind of sums the fish souvlaki up.... But that said, if you are looking for fancy, healthy, extravagent, gourmet food then why on earth would you go to a fish and chips shop in the first place??? So to cut the long story short, the fish and chips were good and tasted the way fish and chips are supposed to taste. Like all fish and chips they were probably fairly bad for us and contain very little nutritional value but so what - thats what fish and chips shops are supposed to be like. My kids ate them enthusiastically and everything consumed played the expected role of "food" thus doing its job properly... The staff were nice and were tolerant of my twin 3 year olds annoying everyone in the shop and sitting on the counter ringing the bell on the statue of the smiling Chinese cat that you see in Chinese restaurants or Chinese run establishments of all types (I wish I knew what those cats were called). On another note, the shop is right next door to the Cheesecake Shop - meaning that you can have fish and chips for your meal and then get a cheesecake for dessert - if you can manage to eat that much and that combination which doesnt exactly work to my mind... Anyway, enough about my life - check out this shop if you are in the area and want fish and chips - its a good one and its also very very reasonably priced. A pack of 2 big pieces of blue grenadeer (fish), 3 potato cakes, 2 dimsims and a whole heap of chips cost $14.80 or something like that. I think it was called a "Two Pack".
