During such a difficult time, their guidance, patience, and attention to detail brought our family so much peace. We've used this Mortuary for other family members in the past. My sweet mother in law , had her assed a few years ago. Everyone was so kind the director , EVERYONE. We can't begin to express our thanks to the amazing staff at Funeraria Del Angel; Pearl, Sophia, Robert and Diego! Our dear 96 year old Aunt passed away recently and she had already prepaid for some of the services here many years ago when her husband passed away so we went to arrange her plans, as her executors, and we were pleasantly surprised from the beginning to the end! Everyone was so friendly, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful! We purchased the perfect funeral package and from that point on, the staff let us know to leave the details to them since we already had enough on our plate with all of the emotions and other things we had to deal with. They took care of everything from the Rosary (that included an amazing reception area for everyone to relax and enjoy special pastries, etc.), working with the church for the service the next day, until an amazing job at the burial! We can't thank the staff enough for all they did to help us through this emotional time! My dad passed away unexpectedly, and we had to decide where to have his funeral. I'm so glad we chose Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard. My family and I were taken care of by Sofia, who was an angel sent from above. She was amazing and I'm forever grateful for her. She made a tough time easy for us. Sofia made us feel super comfortable, and I can't describe how wonderful she was. She helped us choose the right package without pressuring us for more. Robert and Diego were also incredible during the actual services. They were with us the whole time and always there for us. Both of them were super kind and respectful, and I'm happy with both of them. Some of the staff is friendly and wear gentle with our grandma. I'm not sure who provided the makeup artist if my relatives or the funeral home but we were definitely affected by the over the top makeup on our grandma who looked nothing like herself. PARKING!!!! Is a huge problem. Not enough parking spots and we were rudely asked by a short big lady to move due to fire hazard. However, it so happen she caught us at our vehicle yet the vehicle that parked after us that was actually blocking others from existing wasn't asked to move. We understood, so we moved but we were grieving and didn't expect a staff member to yell at us. I wouldn't recommend this place if a you have a medium to large size family. Most of my family had to park a block away or across the street at the Center Point Mall. read more

I honestly cannot thank Hugo and his staff enough. Losing my mom was unexpected and the hardest thing to do in life, I felt like I was dying myself. Hugo and his staff were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with us and made this process easier. The services they provided was beautiful, they took SUCH GOOD CARE of my mother and she looked gorgeous. As hard as it was, she looked so peaceful, smiling happy and beautiful. I have been to many funerals in the past and never have I seen a loved one so well taken care of. Kristine and Manny helped with the mass service and everything was flawless. They took care of my dad very well and his funeral/visitation service was beautiful despite COVID safety precautions. They were patient, understanding and super accommodating to our family's needs. We never felt rushed or pressured throughout the whole process. Manny was always there to answer any questions and was always quick to respond. They walked us through all the services til the very end even when my dad was cremated 30 miles away from the funeral home, they were there to assist-thanks for driving so far to be there Yvette.
