I chose this facility because of the reviews online. When I arrived, the check-in process was nice enough. I got assigned to a therapist named Kyle. He took me back and did some assessments. All of this was normal. He then looked up exercises in his computer and created a plan. He wanted to make sure I understood all the movements and how to do them properly so we went through them. He wasn't the most graceful person when demonstrating. I wasn't impressed. I came back for another session and it was the same nice enough check in process. Then kyle took me back again. This time he did some revisiting of the original assessments. Then he introduced some new exercises. They were easy enough. Once again I was less than impressed with his demonstration skills. While I was performing the exercises I received no coaching or guidance. My therapist just typed away on their computer with little to no feedback verbalized to me. The final straw was when I had to reschedule my appointment the day of, and they told me It would be a $75 fee. The only reason I had to reschedule is because I'm a hairdresser and one of my clients had a family emergency which pushed her appointment back so I wouldn't make it to my therapy appointment. If you're looking to get back to every day life after a surgery, then this might be a good fit. If you're an athlete looking to get back to athletics, I think you may be slightly disappointed.

After no relief from an injection into the joint and a separate injection into the tenden lower of my thumb, I was desparate for some pain relief. I went to Patrick for some shock wave treatements, and after 6 treatments I was pretty much pain free. Shock wave treatment may not work on all pain situations, but it worked for me. Patrick has a good handle on the types of tendon issue where the treament might be effective.

After a few short months of seeing Travis, I am now running 3-4 times a week, 3-5 minute intervals or up to 2 miles non-stop! It's a slow progression but it is a progression I never thought would happen. The quality of care is excellent. They will be honest with you on where you are and your capabilities. We all know how stressful recuperating from a major surgery (total knee replacement) can be…read more Add to it I did not even have any assisted devices to help me move about afterwards (walker, crutches) due to poor planning. After the first week at home, Physical Therapy reached out to me and asked where you? I had to explain that due to poor planning I do not have any crutches to move about and plus maneuver my stairs to attend. I assumed that I should have such crutches for our next session. The next session arrived, and still no such devices but more excuses. I was told later to come by and pick them up and pay for them? I explained how in world do I maneuver my stairs and pick up crutches and plus I've already met my deductible and out of pocket so I should not be charged? I basically at that point ordered a pair from Amazon for expedited delivery. Not soon afterwards Francesca the supervisor from Ca Orthopaedic Institute Physical & Occupational Therapy reached out to me and said I am less than 10 minutes away and will deliver crutches to you donated from previous clients. This is not what they do as a service at all. I was shocked during her lunch she was at my porch and made sure they fitted properly. I was quite frankly blown away from this kind gesture after all I went through. She scheduled me for the next day's first session and there afterwards. Last week they said the request was denied, then call me back and said it wasn't denied but insurance required more information regarding PT. I have been going to another chiro and a Physical Therapist and with all the exercises and treatment in the past three months my lower back pain and right leg was never completely gone. In the first session at Peak Performance I felt 95% better and the tightness was gone. Dr Jarret is not your regular chiro, sessions include myofascia massage, cupping and other techniques.

i had total knee replacement on my right knee with this doctor…read more he is rude and discriminates patients. i was on workman's comp at that time. i was referred to him by my attorney and he was reluctant to accept me. he was dictating to his medical assistant and when he said my age he said in front of my face "old woman". i was 63 years old. i only had the total knee replacement on my right knee. he told me the left knee will be follow whrn the left knee heals. on my third post op appointment with him i asked about total knee replacement on my left knee. when he can schedule the operation. he said me in a loud angry voice " i cannot help you anymore" and he closed my chart in the computer angrily in front of his new medical assistant. on his way out of the room, he glared at me like telling me " get out of here" i cried when he left the room because i was hurt with his attitude towards me. years past after the total lnee replacement on my right knee and i still cannot forget how this doctor discriminated me and his face still haunts me with the glare in his eyes and in an angry loud voice saying " i cannot help you anymore" closing my chart with anger. i was a patient of him in San Diego.
