Looking bewildered and mentioning the time (again 440p) we told him that we live an hour and a half away and that it was our wedding anniversary, and his response 'ohhhhh no'.. No explanation as to why he closed a full 20+ minutes early (he was already outside and getting into his truck) nor an offer to open up for the final 20 minutes; then he got in his truck and left. Will be reporting this to the Illinois Antique Association, as that's the shop guide we followed for the day. To keep this shop in your pamphlet is an immense disservice to those using it!

Upon checkout, the lady at the front desk accused me of shoplifting a bowl. I have never stolen anything in my life or been accused of stealing, and didn't really even know how to respond. If I were going to steal something, why would I put thirty items on the desk to pay for??? This made no sense u til I read reviews on several different platforms.
