By a big margin Youngbloods RV of Paducah gave us the best price. We chose them because of their willingness to accommodate our needs and upgrades. We were willing to drive 840 miles round-trip because of their price and patience. More amazing than the great price we received, was the stellar treatment we received from our salesman Tommy McNutt, and the General Manager Chase Youngblood. These folks went out of their way to insure we had a great experience. On our drive to pick up the 5th wheel our tow vehicle had some maintenance issues. We were forced to put it in the shop, for service, upon our arrival in Paducah. Chase made sure we had transportation to the shop, restaurants, and their sales office. In addition he patiently spent an inordinate amount of time explaining the nuances and operation of our first RV. It took all day to get our truck serviced. Chase towed our camper, with his personal truck, to a nearby campsite so we could stay there, learn our camper, and get a fresh start home the next morning. The following morning we hooked up our vehicle and noticed we were having some trouble with the rear camera we ordered. Chase dropped everything and worked on it for and hour and a half. Turns out the camera was shorting out. He replaced it and sent us on our way. We could not have asked for a better sales staff, service, or experience. Although we had had a camper in the past, we were new to having a 5th wheel. Loved everything they did for us. Now the service dept. is another thing. First time we had to bring it in was just to fix a shade and make adjustments to the table. They took over 2 weeks to do anything. I'd call and get put off saying they were busy with other work. Now we have taken it in to adjust the slide in. When we dropped it off at the appointed time, there were only 2 campers in the workshop and ours was the only one in the service parking lot. It's been a week and I've heard nothing! I've called and received no response. It's a joke! Its like they don't care that we bought a new 2026 RV from them...when we could have gone anywhere. We worked they Taylor Hampton (sales) who was very helpful on ordering exactly what options we were looking for. We let Taylor we would be hiring a third party inspector to come in once the RV arrived to do a complete inspection. This did not present any hesitation or push back. Once the RV arrived, our inspector set up the appointment with McDowell and they had everything requested available, water, electrical, and propane. While the inspection left a short list of items that needed to be repaired prior to us signing any final paperwork and completing the sale, Taylor worked with the service department and Keystone to get the parts needed to make the travel trailer camp ready. Again, no push back, not pressure. Once everything was completed, we met with the finance manager, Alan Sellers to finish the paperwork. We had already secured very good financing outside of McDowell, but they did offer to see if they could meet or beat our current interest rate. As we were comfortable with the terms on our own financing it was a simple "okay". Alan did offer an extended warranty and again with a single "no thank you" again, it was zero pressure. Most importantly there was no "funny business" or "hidden fees" in the transaction. The price we were quoted when we ordered the RV was the price we paid when we closed the deal. The service department was fabulous for our walk through. I am pretty sure we spent three hours going over every system and video recording everything with our phone. They even assisted with installing our weight distribution hitch we brought with us. If you are looking for a good RV (you should always get it inspected by a third party) at a very fair price with little pressure though the process, McDowell South RV should be on your radar. We live in St. Louis and while there is a Keystone dealer much closer, the "vibe", price, and low pressure were very much worth the drive and our time. When the time comes to look at a different R, we will definitely give McDowell a call.

We purchased a new 5th wheel camper from Riley's in 2017. The camper is of very decent quality, but…read morewe had issues. Riley's service dept put on 2 new ACs, and fixed a few other things. We live over an hour away, so the service dept shipped parts to me to replace under warranty...no cost to me at all. You can't beat that. The only issue they were unable fix was a water leak from the undside of one if the slides where the tires sprayed water up into the camper. I came up with a solution, told the service dept what I needed, and they shipped what I requested, free of charge. I was able to seal the leak, and no problems since. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is if I didn't know how to work on campers, I would still have a slide out leak, or would have had to pay someone to fix it. Overall, however, we are very happy with out experience with Riley's RV World.

We had the BEST experience at Kris Willis RV thanks to Robbie, Haley, and Mark!…read more After speaking on the phone extensively with Robbie and Haley, we drove 12 hours from Florida to work with them instead of a local dealer. They had great pricing, they were incredibly honest, and willing to help us at every turn. The real selling point for me was when I had just returned from the local dealer and discussed extended service plans. The other dealer kept trying to convince me I needed $6,000 in service plans. When I asked specific questions and read over the actual service contracts line by line, I realized that - quite frankly - it was complete crap and barely covered anything (unless, of course, I happened to damage my RV due to an earthquake *eyeroll*). The next day I called Robbie to ask him what service plans they offer as a test (sorry Robbie, haha!). He passed with flying colors when he told me that they didn't endorse any extended warranty plans because the existing manufacture warranties cover quite a bit (as he explained the number of years on each part) and that most of the extended warrianties have odd terms and circumstances where they don't cover common occurrences. Yaaaaas! Exactly what I wanted to hear! When it came to the details of getting payment situated before we arrived, Haley was an absolute dream with which to work. She answered all of our questions in advance and was incredibly organized and efficient. I think the entire transaction took a total of five minutes when we finally arrived. (Not to mention, she provided EXCELLENT restaurant recommendations when we finally arrived in Dexter, Missouri.) Once we arrived at Kris Willis RV, Mark was incredibly helpful in teaching us the ins and outs of our new RV (even while contending with our two dogs who would not stop trying to cuddle with Mark the entire lesson). In addition to RV maintenance, he may secretly be a dog whisperer. On top of all of this, after our first night in a nearby campground we had a few questions and both Mark and a Robbie came to our campsite to help us out! WHAT SERVICE! Later that week, after they knew we were camping our way back to Florida, they called periodically to check in on us and make sure we didn't have any other questions. I can't imagine any other dealer going above and beyond like that! I can't say enough great things about Kris Willis RV and the amazing staff - especially Robbie, Haley, and Mark. It was such a good feeling to buy from you all, and I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is in the market for an RV give them a visit or a call!

I bought a bunk pontoon trailer from rib mountain marine,( a kirks trailer) and I am not very happy…read morewith the craftsmanship. The welds are full of holes and there is big holes burned thru the tubes in the welds. The trailer had rust by every weld and I had to spend 2 hours cleaning and touching up the paint. When you spend $2200 dollars on a new trailer you should not have to work on it to use it. I contacted the dealer where I bought it and left them a message to contact me about this and they never got back to me on this. If I had to suggest a trailer to buy and where to get it, I would not send them to rib mountain marine to get a kirks trailer. I looked at a lot of different trailers and I like the design and the and low profile of the kirks trailer but it is very poor quality and the dealer would not even call back to see if something could be done to resolve this or maybe even exchange it. So if you are looking for a trailer don't go to rib mountain marine or but a kirks trailer.
