Mala is an amazing teacher - she methodically handles the kid's transition for daycare and we didn't have any major problems getting used to the transition. She is very caring about all kids which was assuring as well. Her living space is immaculate and provides a good environment for the kids. Her food is great - our kid has learned to eat a lot of new foods in daycare and she ensures all the kids eat well at daycare which is really helpful for younger kids! read more

Fun n learn daycare has truly been second home for our kids. Ms Mala takes very good care of them - Feeding them nutritious food, daily park visits, teaching to read etc - we appreciate all that very much. When we pickup kids, they look better than how we dropped them with neatly combed hair and in changed clothes. All those tiny things make a big difference, other daycares don't do that. She goes the extra mile providing lot of updates on how the day went for the little ones, what they ate, how much they ate. She has turned my picky eater kids to try new things and helped instill meal time discipline. Thank you so much Ms Mala and team. read more

We couldn't be happier with the care our child receives here! Mala is incredibly patient and responsive, always taking the time to address any concerns we have with genuine kindness. What sets her apart is how personal the experience feels--she truly knows and love our child. It's a huge weight off our shoulders knowing they are in such capable and caring hands!. She holds many family events as well, where we also get to know other kids and their parents as well. read more

Miss Mala is a gem! Our son absolutely loves the activities she plans; it's wonderful to see them exploring science through projects like metamorphosis and learning about different cultures through festival celebrations. The communication is excellent--we look forward to the daily photo updates and the detailed breakdown of his day. Knowing he is eating healthy, home-cooked food gives us peace of mind. Miss Mala is patient, loving, and truly dedicated to the children. We feel blessed to have her as our child's first teacher. read more

My 2 year old has been going to Miss Mala's day care since October 2024. My daughter has multiple food allergies and we found Miss Mala's day care as a blessing. Mala is always friendly, patient and accommodating which is more than we could ask for. Mala comes up with great learning and fun activities for children including science projects like metamorphosis, art ( painting, craft), alphabets , numbers and activities like dance. My daughter totally loves the daily park activitiy and is always looking forward to going to the day care every day including Monday mornings :) Thank you Miss Mala. read more

I can't say enough good things about Fun and Learn Daycare and Miss Mala. It truly is the best play school for Indian kids in the area. The team gives each child special care and attention, but what really sets this place apart is the love they show. My baby has thrived here, and I have complete peace of mind knowing they're in such caring hands. The daycare is incredibly organized, with activities that keep the little ones engaged and learning every day. The staff is always helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure parents are well-informed and comfortable. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be treated like family, Fun and Learn Daycare is the place to be! read more

I can't express enough how grateful we are for Mala's daycare. My son attended for 2.5 years, and it was one of the best decisions we made for him. I'm so glad Mala was there to support him during those important early years of his life. She is incredibly loving and caring, and my son eagerly looked forward to going every day. I felt completely at ease knowing he is in such loving and attentive care. Mala is extremely accommodating, responsive, and excellent with communication. She takes the time to speak with each parent, sharing feedback thoughtfully and patiently. One of my favorite aspects of the daily routine is the time spent at the park, which gives the kids a chance to explore the outdoors and keeps them enthusiastic about their day. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a positive and nurturing environment for their child. read more

When I began searching for a daycare for my daughter, a friend suggested Fun and Learn. I first met Ms.Mala after daycare hours, and I was immediately struck by her energy and enthusiasm --an essential trait for caring for children. She shows great affection and care towards my daughter, and the transition process she uses to help kids adjust is excellent. I have seen her show individual attention to every kid which is what I was looking for. All the teachers who work there are wonderful, and the quality of the food is very good --my daughter absolutely loves it. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a caring home based day care. read more

Mala's daycare is the best thing that happened to us! We tried another daycare before this one and our daughter was terrified to go there. But she instantly took to Mala and was very comfortable from day 1! Mala is very loving and affectionate. She is very passionate and enthusiastic about her work. Our daughter was always a difficult eater. Mala has been especially great with getting her interested in food. Our daughter loves Mala and looks forward to daycare everyday. read more

When I was looking for a daycare, I wanted someone who could keep our son as healthy and happy as we would. I am thrilled to have found that in Mala. She is a true embodiment of love, warmth and care. My son looks forward to seeing her everyday. In fact, he even asks about his Mala auntie on a weekend :-) Mala takes care of each baby individually (she has help that makes her focus on each baby's specific needs). She is a mom herself so she knows how to teach kids - both from educational point of view as well as values. My son feels loved and happy. Mala also provides daily meals and snacks every day. I love that he gets super healthy and nutritious food at the daycare. That was the top most priority for me and I am super happy about it. Thank you Mala for being amazing! read more

We feel extremely lucky to have found Mala. Our son had severe eczema (lot better now) plus was just 10 months old when we had to start day care so we were very nervous on leaving him with a complete stranger. But the day we met Mala both me and my husband were pretty sure we had found someone we can trust him with :) and its been a couple of months now since our son has been going there and we have no regrets.  She provides organic food, takes him to the park, they have activities all throughout the day. She tells us what she plans to feed him and updates his daily activities online which we can check anytime. Her kids play with him and he loves them, Its more like a second home for my son rather than a day care. read more

Review We know Mis Mala from 2017 through a friend when we were looking for after-school for our son. He went there until the pandemic and from then even before our two years old daughter was born we knew where she was going for her pre-school. She has been going to Mala's Fun and Learn daycare for about eight months now. Ms. Mala is not just a daycare provider, but she is an educator. She is organized, patient, and very knowledgeable especially when it comes to childcare. But the most important quality about Ms. Mala is her caring and loving nature for each child. She really cares about how each child is feeling and progressing at school. Everyday there is circle time, outdoor play, creative time, reading stories and constant learning. She sets up a daily routine for the kids with naptime and meals included. Her meals are home made and organic. Lastly, we would like to thank Mis Mala and her team for being a blessing to our daughter and to us! We couldn't have picked better providers and protectors for her. We appreciate every single thing you do for our family! read more

We are beyond grateful that we found Ms.Mala!! My son has been going there for more than a year through the pandemic and we felt safe entrusting him through all of it!! I see her shower my son n all other kids with affection.. Yet he s so disciplined all thanks to her.. she feeds them delish breakfast, plans circle time and reading everyday, takes the kids to park , feeds them with healthy tasty home cooked lunch. Predictable naps, sends regular photo updates, very attentive to the kids needs. She also potty trained our son around 2.5! All her teachers , Lakshmi, Neethu and Shefali also help execute well thought out educational activities much beyond the scope any home based day care! Just love her and her day care,! read more

My daughter went here for a year and we absolutely loved it! Mala is very detail oriented and has a meticulous approach to helping the kid get adjusted to the day care environment. She is also extremely energetic and is very engaged and hands on with the kids. We took our daughter to tour her center and her time and attention with our daughter was a major selling point for us. Mala also organizes events for the families to meet each other and that definitely helps with playdate planning etc. Overall highly recommend Ms.Mala and her day care for anyone who is looking for a high quality, fun and engaging learning opportunity for their kids. read more

Mala and her team strive to provide a healthy, safe, loving, nurturing and as the name suggests the most fun environment for all the little ones at Fun n Learn. The facility is absolutely kid friendly and safe. The kids visit the neighborhood park daily, weather permitting, and they have a blast there. Mala provides the kids with very healthy, yummy, home cooked food, and she encourages them to start making healthy food choices right from the foundational age. They do circle time, reading, math, science projects, art projects, cultural celebrations and of course fun fridays!!! During the tough Covid times, kudos to Mala and her team, for providing a very safe environment for the kids and still managing to keep the experiences as normal as possible. Both my kids went to Mala's daycare and they loved the experience!! Based on my experience I would make chose Fun n Learn for my kids without a blink of an eye! read more

I found this daycare through Yelp and I think it's the best thing that has happened to me and my kid. I started sending my son when he was 15 months old in Jan 2022. Miss Mala is amazing, kind, very patient and forms connection with the kid from the very first moment. She made the transition to my Kid easier and my son loves to go to daycare. All other teachers are also very friendly and takes good care of kids. The food is of very good quality and my son loves the food. Miss Mala goes above and beyond to make the kid as comfortable as possible and she thinks exactly like me(mother) I will definitely recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, clean and healthy daycare. read more

We came to know about Mala through a friend and enrolled our 2 year old daughter at her day care. We have been really fortunate to have found this place. Mala is very warm and affectionate with all the children, provides yummy food and above all the kids enjoy being with her. The kids have fun and also learn a lot of things. Our daughter, who is now 4 years old can do alphabets, numbers, writes, reads and also knows how to add numbers. We believe Mala and her team (Lakshmi, Neetu and Shefali) have equipped our daughter with a solid foundation which will give her a head start in pre-K and Kindergarten. The kids also get to do lot of cool science and craft projects on a regular basis. We are highly comfortable with this daycare and believe it is more like a second home to our daughter. Overall, we believe we made the best decision in choosing Mala and would definitely recommend her to anyone. read more

Every morning, my almost 2 yr old daughter stands by the door and keeps saying "kool" (School!). She would be very upset if I don't take her to school in the morning. She waves "bye bye" so enthusiastically to rest of the family. That's how much my daughter loves going to Mala's day care. Mala certainly has a passion for working with children and she is also very well organized. Every morning she welcomes the children with so much enthusiasm and joy, that as a parent when you head back to work you feel confident and assured that your child is in good hands. I also love the fact that she creates a WhatsApp group for every kid with their parents and sends pictures every day of the activities that they do. Mala is particularly good with babies and toddlers. I have seen some day cares let the kids cry.. but Mala would carry them around and make sure they eat sufficiently. My daughter has certainly become very vocal, has picked up so much of vocabulary and some really good dance moves! in the one month she has gone there. The kids go for a nature walk or to the nearby park every day and they also get to do many activities. I'm very glad we found Mala and would say that of the different day cares that I have visited and multitude of nannies we have had, Mala stands out as a gem. I would strongly recommend her for your child. read more

My 20 month old was temporarily with Mala for a week while we were between day cares. All I want to say is, we couldn't have been more thankful! We got to know about Mala's daycare from one of our friends and it was such a great arrangement for my daughter! Mala was willing to help us even on such a short notice. The transition was so seamless for us and our daughter. She came home happy, clean, well fed and well rested on all of the 5 days she was with Mala. Mala provided well rounded meals and we got regular updates about our daughter's day. Even with our very short time with Mala, I can say that she is a very kind-hearted person and the kids just love her. Mala's daughter is fantastic with the kids too! If we lived closer, we would have definitely continued with Mala. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for top quality home based care for their child. read more

My son went to after-school care at Mala's place last year, when they were near our school. Mala is a very amazing, loving and competent teacher. Not only did she make sure that my son completed his homework, but also made them do additional math/reading/writing exercises for practice. She has a great backyard where kids play when they are done. She has many board games that kids can play during rainy days. She also loves art and encourages kids to make art projects in free time. Her place is very clean and hygienic. She also makes healthy, scrumptious snacks for kids as well. I also send my son for Hindi classes at her place. My son has learned all the hindi alphabet and can even write his name in Hindi now (all this in one year!) All credit goes to Mala. I would highly recommend her and "Fun N Learn" After Care! read more

Fantastic home based day care. The kids have a really awesome time and Ms. Mala makes sure they are well fed and well taken care of.

We are very happy with Ms. Mala and her staff. Our son has been at Ms. Mala's daycare for about 8 months now and we couldn't be happier. Every day, he goes there happy and comes back happy. His eating habits are excellent and his social skills have improved tremendously during this time. Ms. Mala's exuberance and energy is reflected on the children there - everybody is always happy! They have very simple and fun curriculum for all ages, which is great. The kiddos participate in nature walks and picnics at the nearby park almost every day. Our 5 year old daughter goes to 'after school' to Ms. Mala's home also. She provides our daughter a healthy (and yummy) lunch or snack, ensures the homework is being worked on and other learning and art/craft activities. Ms. Mala also seeks constant feedback from parents to improve and receives feedback very well. In summary, we are indeed very fortunate to have found Ms. Mala - both our children genuinely love Ms. Mala and her team; we know they reciprocate it as well. read more

My 8month old started in her day care and was there for 2 months and i notice lots of things which i would like to share. Positives 1. She takes good care of babies. 2. hygienic daycare. 3. She takes them to park. 4. home cooked fresh food. Negatives 1. she is not same with all the parents - for few parents she will take the kids before time and for few she will be strict and very rude. Rules should be same for everyone ! 2. She does not follow universal pricing with everyone. for some she charges less and for some she charge high amount 3. She feeds parle G biscuits to infants - huh biscuits are good but they are not nutritious. there are better things to feed babies as fillers. Parents please ask her what kind of snacks she provides to the kids. overall good daycare - no issues with the kids - my daughter was very happy- if you can live with the negatives its a overall good one ! read more

Fun N Learn is truly a second home for our daughter. We had to start sending her to daycare at a very early age, when she was just a 5 months old baby. Mala took excellent care and gave her full attention that was needed at such a young age. I highly appreciate the communication, all the updates about her activities, pictures, and ability to call and even do a quick video chat with my daughter. Until recently she was exclusively breastfed and I had to send fresh and frozen BM for her feeds during the day. Mala handled it very nicely and made it so much easier. She even spent some time learning how to handle BM, how much to heat, how long to keep at room temp. etc before my daughter's first day. Now Mala provides solids and always checks with us before introducing new food items. She is very accommodating when we have some delay in picking her up. They have a beautiful backyard and kids enjoy playing there. The place and the owner gives very personal and homely feeling rather then too commercialized day care centers. She engages kids in various activities throughout the day like reading, music, indoor and outdoor play. She also takes them to a nearby park quite often. Overall we are totally satisfied and happy with our choice. Couldn't have asked for a better facility and care provider read more

My son is very happy going to the day care,he never ever cries when i drop him at the day care. Kid Eating the food is the biggest concern for every parent, At Mala's we dont have to worry about it at all. Mala provides very healthy food for the kids and she is a mom herself so she understands the parents, she is like a family now and she is a very good hearted person. I still remember she said " bache tho baghvan hothe hain" it means (kids are like god). She truly believes that and takes very good care of them. She updates your kids daily routine like food,Nap, Potty in a spread sheet. Mala's day care is super clean and tidy. She makes kids prepare crafts about christmas, new year, Diwali etc and they are so cute. Kids are constantly learning. She takes pictures of the kids and sends them regularly. We feel very happy when we see them. I have been sending my son since 6 months. My son eats well and he learnt a lot of good things like cleaniness, rhymes, alphabets and tidying. Anyone would be blessed to get in to Mala's day care. She has help who are equally friendly and well trained. I would be very happy and proud to recommend Fun N Learn Day care. read more

Our daughter has been going to Mala's daycare for a year. We were hesitant to send her to any daycare due to the pandemic but after visiting Mala and seeing her interaction with our daughter , and the Covid 19 precautions taken, we felt comfortable to go ahead. It's one of the best decisions we took as Mala takes care of her like her own and her daycare is a second home to our daughter. Our daughter has also learnt so much in the daycare while having lots of fun! She even says complex words like metamorphosis and pollination and understands what they mean as Mala does projects that teach kids while helping them have fun. Fun n learn daycare is definitely an apt name. Mala has helped us with various milestones like potty training, sleeping throughout the night, transitioning to sippy cup. We are so grateful to Mala and all the teachers at her daycare as well as all the great friends she has made there. Every month Mala plans for fun science projects and sharing activities. Mala also provides healthy yummy food and also makes it a point to accommodate the child's likes and preferences to the best she can. She follows all safely precautions and we feel very safe sending our daughter to her place. If anyone is looking for a daycare for their kid, we will definitely recommend Mala's daycare as it is a world class daycare with a personal touch. read more

I could not have been blessed with a better day care provider for my son than Mala! My son has been attending Fun N Learn for about 2 years. I have turned down job offers that would have required me to find a different day care as I am so happy with Malas services. She always has intelligent curriculum planned that has given my son the opportunity to accelerate his learning through natural play. When I take my son to playgrounds or play dates he by far has the largest vocabulary, understanding of and emotional confidence & physical ability to explore his environment. I know he is doing so well in large part due to Mala & her impressive school. I don't worry about my son at all during the day which allows me to be very productive at work. Also, Mala, all the teachers and every single family in attendance has been very opening and welcoming of our culture while at the same time inviting my son into the cultural norms of others. Very big thanks to Mala for everything!! read more

As a parent who has juggled different child care providers, I cannot emphasize how much of a mental load is relieved when you find a gem of a caregiver. Mala is that gem! Thank you Mala! read more

Our son LOVES Mala and her daycare! She has been so gentle, warm and yet confident with the kids. It is awesome to see how calm and happy she always is, and she seems to find genuine joy in being with the kids. We love that she does so many fun little outdoor activities - picnics/play in the park, strolls by the creek, and growing caterpillars/butterflies with the kids. There is good structure in the day, but enough fluidity for the kids to be curious, playful and....just kids. Our son has blossomed socially and emotionally in just a few weeks, and we are very happy that he is in such a positive environment. He is often having so much fun that he does not want to go home. Her own kids (older) and helpers are also very good with the children. Would highly recommend her to anyone with little kids! read more
