As the name suggests, Buttonhole is a teeny tiny boutique. Although small, the staff seem happy to…read moretheir customers unnoticed at times. However, the pieces on sale are often fantastic and no one need know that they are from 'off the back of a truck'. Snap up (questionably sourced) Chanel jackets, Chloe blouses, Gucci dresses and Alexander McQueen clutches for a fraction of the store price. Dresses are usually around the $600 mark with knitted and leather goods a little pricier. Speaking of which, the winter knits and leathers are divine but frustratingly on sale in the high heat of summer and rarely in winter. The rule of thumb here is if you want it but it on the spot as the boutique stocks only a few of each item and you can bet it will not be there the next time you swing by. Be prepared to put on a balancing act when it comes to the fitting rooms but don't be put off - the prices are reasonable considering you're buying 'designer'. They also accept EPS and can (sometimes) order in additional sizes if you're willing to commit to the purchase once it arrives. Watch out for small details like patterns running in opposite directions between panels on dresses etc.

These guys are very good, give them a try! I was in Hong Kong for 5 days and they were able to…read moreproduce a product for me within that limited amount of time. Great job, great materials, great people, just do your research on what you want ahead of time! Make sure to tell them Alex sent you for a better deal ;). I ordered 5 shirts from these guys and the only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because they partially got my order wrong (asked for the back of my shirt to be box style, but got darts). However I am glad because the darts do indeed look much better, just not what was originally asked for. All that being said, Shaniel is very nice. This is a family owned business that a father and son runs and they are very kind and are willing to work together with you for a product that you will like. They are right next to Sam's however I would say you are getting the same quality for better service at a better price. Know your materials, and know what styles you want before hand. They can only show you examples, but you yourself must know what you want. Their turn over for producing a shirt was much faster as they were ready the next day, and small fixes were even available the same day. They were very friendly and talkative so I felt a sense of higher transparency while going through this process. Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them if something isn't how you want it to be! They were very willing to work together with me. Be prepared to go for multiple fittings! I fitted my shirt twice. If you want your shirt to fit right the first time, that is just how it should be. The shirts I got fit amazing and I am very happy with this experience.

Whether you have hours to kill before your next flight, in need of a quick small gift for someone…read moreyou're about to see, or need some travel accessories for your luggage, be sure to make time to visit this large shop in Terminal 2. No boarding passes are required to reach the area the shop is located in, so you can easily access it if you are at the airport. This store sells everything from socks to pet toys to travel pillows to makeup to plates/bowls/utensils. All made in good quality given its extremely low prices. If items are not marked with a specific price, then it's assumed to be only HK$12! Most other items that are pricier, like a travel neck pillow will run approximately HK$25 and thick nylon tote bags with zippers for around HK$60. All still very affordable for an airport store! The shop is always neatly organized and the employees are polite and speak English. A plastic shopping bag will run you $0.50. I could spend hours here, but alas, there's a flight to catch!

I have to start off by saying that this store is essentially the Japanese 100 yen store called…read moreDAISO which in Hong Kong is called "Living Plaza by Aeon", because Aeon is the local distributor of the goods. I have been traveling through this airport for years and I only recently discovered this store on my last trip. So if you need to do a google search for more locations, search under the name "Living Plaza by Aeon". Back in New York, the Daiso chain has finally started to make an appearance on the east coast. Their stores are more concentrated in the west coast with a few in the mid west. The airport location is large for an airport store, with a variety of great products! I tell you this from a standpoint of having been abroad in Japan and having seen some of their Daiso locations myself. I feel the need to give this disclaimer: of course it is more cheaper to go visit Daiso in Japan (everything there will be priced starting at 100 yen). If that is not feasible to you, then visiting this store is more reasonable despite the higher cost. (12HKD = 166 yen approximately). After checking in our bags at Terminal 1, we actually walked back all the way to Terminal 2 with our carry-ons (walk took about 12-15 mins walking quickly) in order to visit this store before boarding our flight. If you time it right on your next trip, you too can have a mini speed shopping spree (save room in your carry-on if you can!). I will call this store a higher end dollar store; a dollar store on steroids if you will. They have travel pillows, typical travel accessories you would really need on your journey, but they also offer a great home section: home decor, home organization, kitchen; laundry section (I picked up a cute laundry bag!), a beauty section and much more. The stationary section is so cute. I couldn't decide which pens to buy so I just walked over to the wall and grabbed a whole bunch! They make great souvenirs too and since they are so unique everybody at work will know this pen only belongs to you and you only! As the other reviewer has commented on, the pricing starts at $12 HKD which is affordable. My laundry bag was on the pricier side of $60HKD but if you compare it to something you would buy at typically Bed Bath and Beyond or Target, then I still think it's better due to quality and price comparison. There is a whole section for toys, dishes/bowls, snacks, hobbies (sewing, gardening, etc) and random tools/gadgets. I had found this baby stroller S hook and a baby stroller blanket clamp to secure the blanket from falling out, something I had been searching for in a few Daiso locations in Japan couldn't locate. I gave these out to my expecting friends as gifts (I don't think it's something you think about or see often in use in the US). If I had more room in my suitcase I would have shopped more. The store wasn't crowded when we stopped by and the cashier was friendly and courteous. I believe they accept Octopus card payment/Cash/Credit Card. Left a hefty balance on your Octopus card? Spend it here! For those of you returning to the East Coast, Daiso currently has two stores open: one in Edgewater, NJ by Mitsuwa Market and another in Skyview Center in Flushing, NY (both stores opened in 2019). I can't wait to return again, it is my new favorite spot to spend my layover time! Safe journeys and happy shopping!

It is all soccer...or rather you may call it football! Black and white checkered ball being kicked around on a giant field...that is the sport! Small store, but selling shoes and jerseys mostly. They also had some accessories like shin guards, water bottles, etc. Jerseys are boys and girls and varied from teams around the world. They have an embroidery machine on sight in the showroom to customize shoes with initials, monograms, etc. That was kind of cool Seemed like good high quality gear, but the quantity of selection just seemed a little sparse.

They have a huge assortment and the prices are somewhat reasonable. This is a good place to go if you're looking for 24kt gold and for jade. Real jade, it turns out, costs more than diamonds. They had some pendants that cost $5-$10 grand. You don't want to know what they wanted for the jade bracelets. It could be the downpayment for your house. Unlike the jewelry stores here, be sure to ask for a discount. I didn't know that I could do this, be luckily my cousin came with me. I'm poor, so I didn't spend that much money. The staff was very helpful and kept filling our tea cups. This company has exclusive rights to the Marvel designs. Yes, that's the whole reason why I came here. I picked up some Spider-Man pieces. They also had the Captain America shield and some other Marvel things.

She was very cheerful and bubbly and accommodating. She listened to what I wanted and brought items out to show me and suggested different items based on my feedback and did not pressure me to purchase anything at all. I did end up going back and we did final checks of the necklace and she helped me sign up for the Chow Sang Sang membership (which is free) because I live overseas and cannot receive text messages and she had to submit a verification code. The membership registers what you've purchased to your account and it also offers a discount on any purchases. It was my first time buying anything in a gold store and Ting definitely made the experience smooth and set the standard for me going forward. Definitely recommend coming here and asking for Ting!
