However, the pieces on sale are often fantastic and no one need know that they are from 'off the back of a truck'. Snap up (questionably sourced) Chanel jackets, Chloe blouses, Gucci dresses and Alexander McQueen clutches for a fraction of the store price. Dresses are usually around the $600 mark with knitted and leather goods a little pricier. Speaking of which, the winter knits and leathers are divine but frustratingly on sale in the high heat of summer and rarely in winter. The rule of thumb here is if you want it but it on the spot as the boutique stocks only a few of each item and you can bet it will not be there the next time you swing by. Be prepared to put on a balancing act when it comes to the fitting rooms but don't be put off - the prices are reasonable considering you're buying 'designer'. They also accept EPS and can (sometimes) order in additional sizes if you're willing to commit to the purchase once it arrives. Watch out for small details like patterns running in opposite directions between panels on dresses etc.

Don't be alarmed when you arrive here and think you're at the wrong place because it looks more like an office building than a place to buy athletic gear. Hop in the elevator and you will eventually reach Aumnie's tiny Mongkok showroom. The place is pretty no frills and you'll try on your serene tank, spin bra or sharp short in a tent (and rely on a pal to drag the mirror over to said tent so you can see yourself). I found the fit of their form fitting tanks lacking and their pants just okay but I wear the looser fitting pulse singlet often and like it quite a bit. I won't be rushing back to Aumnie but it's worth a look if you're after activewear with a unique look (just make sure to try everything on)!

Great job, great materials, great people, just do your research on what you want ahead of time! Make sure to tell them Alex sent you for a better deal ;). I ordered 5 shirts from these guys and the only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because they partially got my order wrong (asked for the back of my shirt to be box style, but got darts). However I am glad because the darts do indeed look much better, just not what was originally asked for. All that being said, Shaniel is very nice. This is a family owned business that a father and son runs and they are very kind and are willing to work together with you for a product that you will like. They are right next to Sam's however I would say you are getting the same quality for better service at a better price. Know your materials, and know what styles you want before hand. They can only show you examples, but you yourself must know what you want. Their turn over for producing a shirt was much faster as they were ready the next day, and small fixes were even available the same day. They were very friendly and talkative so I felt a sense of higher transparency while going through this process. Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them if something isn't how you want it to be! They were very willing to work together with me. Be prepared to go for multiple fittings! I fitted my shirt twice. If you want your shirt to fit right the first time, that is just how it should be. The shirts I got fit amazing and I am very happy with this experience.

Muji is a popular brand in Japan and they have many stores in Hong Kong. This is a very condensed version of the full-scale store. The offerings here are meant to appeal to travelers. The product selection consists of men's and women's clothing, stationery, travel goods and a sizable snacks and grocery product selection. If you want to get clothing here, it would be best to come here before you check-in so you don't have to lug it as a carry-on. Some of the items looked a bit bulky. They do have things like travel pillows which seem pretty appealing if you are taking a long haul flight. But what drew me here was the selection of snack products. They are reasonably priced and perfect for snacking on your flight. Bought a pack of marshmallows and soymilk castella mini doughnuts for HK$10 each. Not only are the snacks here good for snacking, but they would make for a nice little return gift for someone. They are small so they don't take up too much space. If you are looking for goods to make your flight a little more comfortable or for some last minute souvenir gifts at the airport to bring back home, check out MUJI to GO.

No sign/label, low key, and completely focus on the quality and utilities. A bit niche market for above average price for its positioning. Yay, for sure, it is more than easy to source suit cases, eye masks, passport holders, stationary and TRAVEL TOILETERIES. Oh man, you don't wanna see the custome throw away your expensive branded moisture! Check that in and get these little travel set here and Muji. Fragnance free.

The Club 21 Outlet was one store that got me really excited when it was my first time coming to…read moreCitygate, but I soon found my excitement falling flat. The store is pretty huge and the racks were filled, so it gave me promise that I would leave with at least one good purchase. It's even connected to an Armani Exchange outlet. But most of the casual ladies' clothes and accessories look outdated and a little ugly, and the ones that are half-decent aren't very much discounted. But that's just from my perspective - if you are a parent, this is the place to be. Tucked all the way at the back of the store is a kids' section - and the kids' clothes are, in my opinion, ten times more attractive than the casual women's clothes. The girls' section was filled with adorable t-shirts, some adorned subtly with the DKNY logo and others with colorful graphics of flowers or a city scene. There were some really cute coats too, perfect for when the winter months roll around. The boys' section had a nice selection of t-shirts, patterned pants and capris as well. Everything is pretty heavily discounted - a pair of jeans going at around $200 - so this is the perfect place to stock up on your kids' clothes. If you're a guy looking for suits and collared shirts, you'll be glad to know that there are racks and racks devoted to just these. However, some of them are really crumpled and obviously in need of a good ironing, and some look like they have been sitting in the store for a while. I didn't look at the prices of these and wouldn't know what the 'market price' is, so to speak, of them are, so I'm not sure if they are considered expensive here. Bottom line - come here for the kids' clothes, and possibly the suits. If you're looking for women's casual fashion, you should probably should give this a miss - but then again, you've come all the way to Tung Chung anyway, so might as well take a gander but don't expect that many things will catch your eye.

Shopping experience…read more.. Retail therapy is my best relief and here in Hong Kong's Fa Yuen Street Market it definitely was something that I'm so glad to have visited. Nadine and so proudly figured out to navigate our way to this huge area that seem to have the dedicated space for this market which took the whole street. Walking through as I browsed each vendor there seem to be the same of many items which made me confused if it was the same seller or different though some of the prices and various other items differ I wasn't the greatest at bargaining though it was easier if it was just out of curiosity versus a want it was really fun looking through the various items with everything from household to electronics, towels and plushies. Taking the train was definitely fun and easy just find your way to Log Kok Station and there are signs to guide you the way...happy shopping! Thank you!

Fa Yuen Street is another "Night Market" shopping experience…read more The street is blocked off from vehicular traffic and both sides of the street are lined with vendors that block the regular brick and mortar shops along the way. That means there's four rows of shopping! The outdoor ambiance was fine for an October day. The sky was a bit overcast, so we were not burning in the heat. Some stalls weren't set up by noon, but most were open. Vendors didn't bargain much since prices were quite reasonable. Example: I got a pair of socks for 10 HK$ while I got another pair for 12 HK$ at a different place yesterday. Yeah, it's only a few cents difference, but hey... it's the principle. Fa Yuen Street had more fruits, towels, and household goods as compared with the Ladies Market. I saw pillows, curtains, chair covers, blankets, and scissors here. Other merchandise included luggage, purses, tote bags, reusable bags, Thai-style clothing, umbrellas, sunglasses, socks, underwear, and more! For us, it was worth the trek over. We got off at the Mong Kok Station... same one we used for the Ladies Market!
