This was very funny. The instructor is great and the class was easy to understand. I was little nervous because english is my second language but I understood everything and we practice several times. He was always asking if we had anything to ask. I recomend this course very much. read more

Well, well, needed to take a CPR class in a jiffy, went online hoping for something. Saw the word "fun" and instantly I was intrigued. Signed up for a class, so far so good. The class? Definitely fun. I loved that the instructor kept it interesting with all of these random jokes peppered through the entire class, didn't expect that. Got to practice with my own manikin (or is it mannequin?) The building the class is in seems like a crazy century old mansion or something like that. Old, but not necessarily in a bad way. Bottom line, great class, hopefully I'll never have to use it! read more

What a delightful CPR class! Wait, is delightful an appropriate adjective to use when talking about a CPR class?! I was certainly dreading what I thought was going to be a whole day of booooooredome. Yes, learning CPR and first aid is an interesting subject, and yes it's good to know how to save a life, but lets face it- the presentation could be dreadful. Not here, my instructor had jokes, energy, I got a workout with my own handsome "dummy", and my certification lasts two years, so I'm good. The only thing I didn't like was performing CPR on the floor because the original room we were supposed to be in was being used, but the instructor said that's how it would be in real life anyway. Overall, great, fun class, and the price was perfect! read more

If you need to be CPR certified, this is the way to go! American Heart Association CPR/AED certification in roughly 2 1/2 hours. Small classes, hands on the mannequins IMMEDIATELY (no tedious instructional videos), and an incredibly personable and knowledgeable instructor, Kristina, made this a perfect way for me to get my re-certification. Fun, informational and I left knowing more than when I arrived. Perfect! read more

History

Established in 1999.

Established in 1999. 10 years ago the founder was teaching CPR classes and clients were commenting on how fun they were compared to other classes that tended to be somewhat boring. One nurse said, "I've taken this class for the last 20 years and this was the best, you should start your own company and call it 'Fun CPR' or something like that." And the rest is history. The founder created the name Fun CPR Training to give clients a choice of either a regular CPR class or one they actually enjoyed with more hands on instead of mostly lecture that you might find in a regular CPR class, and 10 years later, we have grown to many Fun instructors providing classes throughout California and now New York to everyone from parents to fortune 500 companies. Fun CPR Training may not be for everyone, so if you like the traditional long lecture based and video class that takes all day, this might not be for you.

Meet the Business Owner: Jason J.

Starting off as an E.M.T. about 15 years ago, I accidentally ran into CPR training and thought I would give it a try. I began working as an independent contractor for other CPR companies before finally venturing off on my own. Starting Fun CPR Training was strange to sell at first since everyone was accustomed to regular classes, and here's this guy saying that CPR is fun?!? Eventually it caught on and people enjoyed using our services.
