We got our pup from Full Moon in August of 2016. I spoke to Chris several times on the phone and had numerous email conversations before getting approved for a pup. Our Stryker has been a total blessing and a wonderful ball of joy since day one. We had an Akita mix previously and had to put him down at the old age of 15 plus years. Our world was crushed...until we found Chris and Full Moon. We got the opportunity to meet Chris and his human family, along with his entire Akita family. We got to spend time with our prospective pup and even got to interact with his parents, Optimus and Deja. I have four children ranging in age from 10 to 16 and always have a house full of kids. My Stryker is a gentle giant and interacts well with everyone, children, adults, seniors, and other dogs. When Stryker was just over a year old, we hired a reputable local dog trainer to work with us on leash manners while walking. One session with Vinnie from "Say It Once Dog Training" and we had a completely different dog! Stryker now walks politely on a leash. So well that my 10 year old son can walk him and have complete control of Stryker. Overall, we have had a great experience with Chris at Full Moon Akitas and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an Akita. I still regularly send pictures and communicate with Chris. Our family has had nothing but positive results from owning 2 WONDERFUL Akitas from Full Moon! Chris is really great with his shared knowledge of the breed and his willingness to help along the way. Our female, Luna Blu is now 2 we got her Jan 2016. Luna is our pride and joy. She has a great temperament and interacts well with the entire family and anyone that comes to visit. She is extremely inquisitive, smart and a loyal family dog. She attends the kids ball games, she goes shopping and EVERYONE who sees her compliments us! We decided to get Koda Joe last Christmas because we wanted a sibling for Luna and the desire to have an Akita with black and white coloring. Chris contacted us Dec 2017 to let us know he had a male ready with the colors that we wanted. Koda is now the most loving 115 lb. 1 year old male puppy that you could have. He is massively, stocky but very tender and family oriented. He LOVES his sister Luna and she LOVES him. We have had absolutely no issues with the 2 of them. I purchased an Akita from Chris last October. He asked a lot of questions. How many people lived in the home, their ages, did we have a fenced yard, had we had previous experience with the breed, did we have other animals and many many more. He had several long phone conversations with me before we purchased. We could tell he really cared where his pups were going. When we picked up our new family member he and his lovely wife took so much time introducing us to the sire and dam as well as his other akitas. They were obviously well cared for and well loved. One more beautiful then the next. And all gentle giants. They went over health, training, feeding and grooming. They answered all of our questions and then some. Chris has always answered calls or emails promptly. He has been a wealth of information. Our Mochi is the best dog we've ever owned. We adopted our male LC Akita from Full Moon Akitas in June of 2016 after losing our sweet Buster, a male short coat American Akita, at the age of 11 in 2013. When Buster passed I swore I would never have another and I meant it at the time.
