Challenging not because it is impossible, but challenging because Kathy Adams (the Administrator) makes the transcript retrieval process very difficult. If you call as a previous or current student looking to retrieve a transcript, she is very rude, uncooperative, and unhelpful for whatever reason. Students from all educational programs should be able to have access to their transcripts with ease so it should not be such an unpleasant process that Kathy creates. Nevertheless, ROP is a great program for students and I am not sure if they still have the Celebration of Success ceremonies, but if they do they are fantastic and well-deserving for the dedicated students in the program.

God bless Ms Simmin and Mr Simon, they helped my daughter understand the math and taught my daughter the foundation she needed for future math classes. Both my wife and I are long time public school staff members and had many choices about where our kids went. WCHS has been the perfect choice. The campus is immaculate; always clean and perfectly manicured. The staff are fantastic and we are picky. They have a full honors program which is also accredited. We have encountered some gifted teaching staff, truly caring about the subject they teach, how it is taught, and the well being of the students as people. They have very professionally trained armed campus supervisors, yes I said armed. I know that may not be a typical comment to state, but sadly in this day and age it is absolutely a fantastic feeling knowing instant safety response is present and a deterrent at your student's school. The athletic facilities are first rate. Go see the gymnasium, baseball field/cages, softball field, outdoor courts and unreal weight room. Top shelf stuff. The programs have high caliber athletes with CIF championships and D1 commits in multiple sports. They play Big time schools and compete. They have multiple CIF All league players. The extra activities for students are unreal: something for everyone going on all the time. Dances, theatre, clubs you name it. It is very safe and welcoming. Perfect size as well, the student body being around 500 makes for a great mix of academics, athletics and solid character development. No fights on campus, clean facilities with a manicured campus, high academic rigor is the dream of all parents for their kids. The last piece should probably have been my lead, the Head of School their is a strong moral leader who has a strong modern leadership base, he treats everyone like they are the most important person on campus. Now, suddenly, within the last two weeks, there has been a wave of four 5-star reviews--some even mentioning the Principal by name. For parents doing their research: please take note of this pattern. It is quite a coincidence that after a year of silence, the school suddenly receives a surge of perfect ratings just as enrollment season peaks and my initial detailed review remains unaddressed. It appears the school is focused on "padding" their online image to drown out a parent's honest experience. Interestingly, looking back at the school's history, there are older reviews (if you filter 1 star reviews) from 9 years ago documenting that previous administrations also solicited 'glowing reviews' from parents. It seems that instead of evolving, the school has maintained a long-standing pattern of prioritizing image management over addressing the root causes of parent concerns. A sudden spike in positive comments doesn't erase the documented favoritism and safety concerns I've detailed in my original review below. [Original Review Below January 2026] I truly wanted to support this school, but after a year, I had to withdraw my daughter for her own well-being. The environment is deeply toxic, specifically regarding a practice known as 'rage baiting.' This is a form of targeted harassment where students intentionally provoke or mock a specific peer until that student has an emotional outburst. Despite this being brought to the attention of leadership, the administration does little to intervene. There is a disturbing pattern of chronic absenteeism among students who were simply avoiding school as a survival mechanism because the environment had become emotionally unsafe. Leadership needs to conduct a serious internal audit to understand why students are choosing to stay home rather than face the daily provocation allowed within these walls. Furthermore, my daughter witnessed a disturbing lack of empathy and discipline in the classroom. While there are no special-needs students attending the school, students frequently use 'disabled' as an insult. If a student asks a question that others perceive as 'dumb,' they are mocked with offensive hand gestures simulating a disability. Teachers observe this and say nothing, allowing this culture of mockery to go unchecked. This behavior is compounded by clear favoritism. The principal's child is part of a dominant social group that appears 'untouchable' due to their father's position. While my daughter was labeled a 'bully' by the principal for a single reactive incident in an unmanaged classroom (kicking the chair of a disruptive "star athlete" student), star athletes and well-connected students receive preferential treatment regardless of their conduct. Despite the school's branding, we found no evidence of Christian values here. Their final interaction with us was a petty dispute over a book that was sitting right in front of them--a fitting end to a year focused more on tuition than student character.

So I guess this is a first person experience. Primary Source document of Yelp. The classroom was well air conditioned, and had water and tea which were provided thirsty students. It was a normal classroom, with tables, chairs, and a whiteboard. The class had about 10 kids- therefore everyone had one-on-one experience too. Even if there were more students, I'm sure Chris or whoever teaching would still do the same... they really tried their best to teach. The SAT course was 7 weeks, 3 days a week, 4 hours each day... However during the last 2-3 weeks Chris extended it to 7 hours, it was optional. But I was really happy that they always allowed me to come in on another day or stay after, if I ever needed extra help...Pretty flexible people. But we focused on Reading Comprehension, Grammar- sentence structure mostly-, Math, with Algebra, Geometry, Word problems, and Trigonometry. Also a little on ACT, but mostly SAT stuff. Worksheets were given, at times it would be done individually or with in groups, or as a class. Questions were ALWAYS answered. At the end of each week they gave a Practice test to see your progress, scores were given afterwards of course. (Since the class was long they gave breaks in between, many people went to the donut or sandwich shop nearby. I like the sandwich shop, they're really nice and family like). Well all in all, I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody willing to try and work hard, because they will do their best to help. They offer online class. International student services are great. I think I found a place to settle down.
