Then begins the month long process of getting the correct amount back. When I initially called, my agent- Cindy Gant- was rude and played dumb. I'm not stupid- I know the seller provides documentation regarding the tax status and you failed to do your job correctly. Only after my realtor contacted them did they bother to fix their mistake. In the end I got the difference from the seller but still ended up paying more than what I was told at closing. You have a choice in title companies when you close- don't make the mistake I did and go with my realtors recommendation...

There was horrible communication on your part. I have bought 3 homes and this was the most unprofessional handling by an agent I have ever dealt with. Anyone who does business with you should beware. You couldn't even be bothered to pass the concessions to the seller in a timely manner. The poor repair man had to work until 10pm the night before closing because he was never informed of anything.
