There was a lot of stuff leftover from previous renters. I was told the property would be available on October 15th at the earliest, as they needed time to clear the stuff out and clean it. That was fine with me. I made an appointment to meet up with the leasing agent for the walk-through on the 15th, but about an hour before we were supposed to meet, he texts me saying he already did the walk-through, and left the keys at the property for me. So I arrived and found that the items left by the previous tenants were gone, but the property had not been cleaned. Bugs in the dishwasher, food stains in the microwave, and grime in the toilets and tub. Dirt, dust, and cobwebs. I sent pics to the leasing agent and asked for a cleaner, and never heard back. I followed up later in the week, still not able to move my stuff in as it was too gross, and the leasing agent "let the office know" but nothing was ever done. I finally had to hire and pay a cleaner so I could move in. This was unacceptable. Properties should be deep-cleaned between tenants, no exceptions. In a $1000+ monthly rental, why should I have to clean a stranger's foodstuffs out of a microwave before I can use it? Absolutely disappointed in this first impression.

Our closer was apparently out of the office some due to a personal issue and it did not seem anyone checked on her work. It was difficult for my realtor to get emails answered and we were later misled about all issues being completed. At 4:30 on the day before closing, I was asked to provide details about a form they needed done. Apparently no one realized it had not been done. I was told it was doubtful we would get closed on time. When we did finally do the closing, the legal documents had multiple typos and the paperwork was poorly formatted with poor spacing of signature lines and other issues. Multiple emails asking for information my realtor had previously supplied, etc. On closing day there was no apology or even an acknowledgement of the problems. A very poor experience.
