This company lied to me about returns. I had to return Christmas gifts and they would not honor the exchange. People order early and made believe they would honor exchanges. Our winter had people snowed in for days and could not return items. They want to give me a gift card to order at @59.00 each and not the @19.00 sell price I got when I bought Christmas presents. My family has no Christmas present yet. They sent the ones back that I was told to send to them with the correct size I needed. Another lie. Exchanged and after waiting 10 weeks for a backorder, I got the wrong size AND it shredded to threads at the seams in less than 3 days. Third try, now they want me to pay up front for the replacement or wait two weeks for it to "process" and then refund it to a gift card. Customer service is rude and talks over the top of you, doesn't pay attention at all, and even argues with you about why you called. I received a notice stating I carried an outstanding balance of $33.22 because a PayPal transaction failed - a first. I checked my account order history at Woman Within and found no listing of anything ordered for that amount. Next was inspection of my saved order confirmation folder in emails; again, nothing. Also reviewed my PayPal history, and was unable to verify WW's claim of a failed transaction. I finally called, wanting to know what the item was, for which they requested payment. I asked "What item is this charge for?" I was told they did not have that information. Until someone can specifically tell me what it is I'm being expected to submit a payment for, I'm withholding the submission. I'm 75, going through chemo for metastatic colon cancer, and I am in no mood to be jerked around. Bought 4 items, exchanged 2 for bad fit, obnoxious colors, cheap material, bad fabric printing. Kept exchanged items. Both Roamans and Woman Within promised shipping refunds, but only Roamans honored that promise while Woman Within denied it and tried to make it my fault. (Their policy from their website is: "We are happy to process an exchange at no additional shipping expense..."). By making this a separate transaction they can still charge you shipping--they just promise to return it in some complicated way and then they just don't. Phone access was extremely difficult--lots of hangups, sudden transfers, accents, and rudeness. No apologies--ever. One of the items I bought looks like its not holding up well after the first washing. Afraid to wash the others. In my experience you may be lucky the first time, with a relatively trouble-free order, but if you keep shopping there its inevitable you will have a problem. They are hurting their own business by making it so difficult to buy anything there, and sometimes even disturbing (Rudeness, ridiculous amounts of time on the phone, being ripped off and lied to). Coupons have no expiration date on them for a reason! Question: If their clothes were really so great, would they need to resort to bait and switch, deception, over-charging, withholding promised refunds and reduced access to make enough money? Hmmm. I bought a pair of New Balance shoes and wanted "free" shipping since the shipping cost $26 (seems overprices). To get "free" shipping, I had to sign up for something that would charge me about $15 a month according to the the fine print that most people wouldn't notice. This is UNETHICAL!! I tried to cancel my order and like others could not cancel it. One more thing. The package arrived sealed but the box was damaged and had been taped together which means it was done by King Size [Rip Off]. At least the shoes fit and weren't worn or damaged. Well first they say 2 weeks to receiver order and its been two weeks and still listed as "In Process" and "Not Shipped" . So I called to cancel and was sent around to 4 people who claim their system does not allow them to cancel orders. So and hour and a half on hold and still not allowed to cancel. The best I could do was to get them to take my whole order on return at no cost to me. The return label is supposed to be in the package and I can return it the day I get it. We'll see. Forget about exchanges. They don't do exchanges. They process it as a return, deducting the return shipping charge from the credit(which takes 10 weeks). Then they will make a new purchase without using either the original promo code or the currant promo code or the promo code included on the exchange form filled in the blank for "Promo Code". Terrible. Catherines was a great store at one time that I frequented. Since they are online and merged with FullBeauty, I advise everyone to not shop from them. I ordered a black and white blouse and signed up for a Catherines credit card. What I received in the mail was a full length, bright green, velvet robe. I called and had a hard time understanding the agents and they were confused by me. It is not easy and very frustrating when a person on the other line is just doing their job from overseas. I get it that it's not their fault. It is this awful company's fault. Long story short, I had to wait for their return label to come in the mail and then I'd be refunded/credit on my card. This was done. The latest statement is telling me I owe more than what was originally paid because they added a late fee. I now owe for something that a mistake on Catherines' end. I am disputing this, but the hassle of talking and being transferred to may agents (some playing games telling me they could not hear me), my blood pressure is through the roof. BUYER BEWARE!! FullBeauty Brands has a 60 day return policy, I get that.They own Swim Suits for All, a seasonal purchase audience (and many other plus-size shopping .com's). Two things happened after I placed an order for 6 items at end of spring for summer use: I received a defective cover-up, the ties would not slide as described because one side was sewn over. I wore it in and discovered the garment was defective, 10 days after their 60 day policy. I was refused an exchange because I missed the time limit. In that same order, I discovered I had ordered two of the same tops. Even though the second item was unopened and unworn, because it was 10 days after their 60 day policy I was refused an exchange because I missed the time limit. I felt I had extenuating circumstances, due to medical conditions during that period (breast cancer and hysterectomy) that did prevent me from using the merchandise for such a long period of time. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and was again denied the exchanges. I highly recommend to everyone that reads this to fully steer clear of all purchases from the Fullbeauty Brands family due to this policy and their disregard for understanding 'life happens' and if you choose not to steer clear--be prepared to forfeit your funds if you are unhappy and understand that they do not care what your 'issue' is. Since Woman Within, Lane Bryant, Catherines, have joined forces with Full Beauty Brands; the money paid gets lost out in no man's land and you continue to get "final notice" letters and the threat to turn you over to a collection agency for the funds. The snail mail bills all have the same Comenity Bank and address in San Antonio. I paid the amount in question online and since it never cleared, I called FullBeautyBrands and discussed the matter with a customer service representative. I again paid the amount online through my online account. I have now received three threatening letters to which I have responded with a copy of the cancelled check and a letter of discontent. I contacted them via email, snail mail, and I sent a copy to the Better Business Bureau in El Paso. I cut up the cards in question and sent them along with a letter to close these accounts, as I don't have time to deal with their errors. Woman Within shows I have a credit for the amount in question, 46.08. If they didn't get my check--which cleared and I have a copy--how do I have a credit for the exact same amount? The clothing is very cheaply made. Seams unravel in no time at all and the sizing varies widely from item to item. A pair of 18/20 pants in one style will fit very differently from an 18/20 in a different style. Legs 4 inches longer than a different style when both are supposed to be "regular" not tall length. They artificially inflate their prices then tell you theres a sale price if you buy a certain amount. Wasn't Macy's in trouble for doing the same thing years ago? This company has a 30 day return policy if you want a refund on your credit card. Do not use their credit- it's a serious conflict of interest and it will cost you! This is the second time in 1 year and 3 orders that I'm having to complain to visa about FB refusing my refund. They "fudged" on date of shipping (that starts the 30 days), It takes 2 weeks to get the product leaving YOU 15 'calendar days' to post the return- NOT 30 from date of receipt. Then they will try to say it was returned too late! You must write your credit card and send them tracking info to prove your case so; choose a good credit card company.
