They quote was reasonable, scheduled promptly, all the info was clearly presented and the prices up front. There was no guess work. Then Fence Spot did an awesome job with the measurements, took a template of the existing fence, made fence to match existing, and hauled away the defunct chain link fence and wooden posts that we had on the property that were in the way of the new fence installation. When there was an issue, we promptly were contacted (our sprinkler system was not marked, so predictably, the sprinkler line was damaged in the diffing process, which could only be prevented if it was marked beforehand). This possibility was outlined in the estimate we received, so not the company's fault at all. The posts were installed promptly and set into concrete. Once they were done, Fence Spot came out again and installed the rest of the wooden fence and it looks great! It not only keeps our critters in, but it looks aesthetically nice too. Out of all the estimates we received, I would only recommend the Fence Spot. They have a showroom too, which is nice - just go and look at all the samples. I was really impressed with their responsiveness and customer service. Would hire them again.

Wow, these people know windows and doors like nobody's business…read more After going to both Lowe's and Stadium Hardware for what seemed like a simple repair to two of my windows, no one had the piece I needed. The guy working at Stadium Hardware recommended this place, and thank goodness for that! I walked in, the lady knew exactly what piece I needed, got it, installed it in the one window I brought with me, and showed me how to install it so I could do the other window myself when I got home. I was in and out in five minutes, and it only cost me $1.50! Next time I need anything for a window or door, now I know not to waste my time with a hardware store and come straight to the experts!

Our house was missing a few storm windows, and had a few others due for replacement; I ordered up a set from Robertson's. The largest panes wouldn't fit in my little car, so I asked about delivery options; Robertson's doesn't deliver, but will give you a business card for Metro Delivery, which worked out just fine. Prices were on par with Home Depot or Lowe's, but the flexibility, responsiveness, and overall experience were a world better. The windows themselves are nicely made --- I wouldn't go as far as "works of art" as they're fairly low-tech (strips of gasket, mitre-cut aluminum), but reasonable materials and solid workmanship. Definitely my go-to for screens & windows, either normal-ish or very custom.

Weeks later, I contacted the company asking when the service would be performed because I had received no completion notice, no door hanger, and saw no evidence that the work had been done. I was then told the service had actually been completed a month earlier and my card was charged. When I raised concerns, the company relied on GPS records showing a truck at my property but could not provide photos from my property, despite telling me that photos are normally taken. What disappointed me most was the way the issue was handled. At no point did anyone offer to come to the property, walk the lawn with me, inspect the results, or independently verify my concerns. Instead, I was left with a charged credit card and no confidence that I received the service I paid for. Most importantly, there was never any visible evidence that the aeration and overseeding had occurred, and there still isn't. More than a month later, the lawn shows no meaningful signs of new grass growth, improvement, or change. Whether the work was not performed or was performed so poorly that it produced no observable result, the outcome was the same from my perspective: I paid for a service and saw no evidence that it benefited my lawn. The office staff was polite throughout the process, but based on my experience, I would not use this company again.
