Full Spectrum is helping to build a Mahoning Valley where LGBTQIA+ people thrive as healthy, equal and complete members of society. Full Spectrum offers monthly Gender, Sexuality, and LGBT Teen support groups, a youth drop-in center, social events, educational trainings, and more.

History

Established in 2016.

Full Spectrum Community Outreach formed when Tim Bortner and Marnie Cram noticed a missing piece in the support of the LGBTQIA+ community within the Mahoning Valley. The organization was created with the focus of providing mental health services, support groups, community involvement, and eventually housing for the LGBTQIA+ community to ensure their health and standing in the surrounding area. Since launching, Full Spectrum has gone on to receiving 501(c)(3) status, renting an office space, offering monthly support groups, attending community festivals, providing monthly social events, offering a youth drop-in center, publishing an LGBTQIA+ Resource Guide highlighting LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses and services in the area, offering educational trainings, hosting free community events, sponsoring other area organization events, and more! Full Spectrum continues to evolve and is always looking for volunteers to help make the organization your own.
