So what you're telling me is that you gave me an errand to run because I still need the vegetables to make dinner? Also, I have to throw away food on top of it because it was bad by the time I got it?! We tried this for two deliveries. The price is not worth it for what you get. We can get the same brand of vegetables for a fraction of the price at our favorite grocery store that isn't wilted and going bad. And $8 eggs, $5 for one tiny artichoke? $8 for one container of salad greens that's half the size of what we get at the store? Outrageous. We're done with this company. read more

Full Circle Farm is a scam that sells expensive produce and uses misleading sales tactics. In my case, i was able to find the exact same produce at a local wholefoods store with the same labels and it cost me $12.50 for a box that was deliveredfor $38 by Full Circle. The produce is expensive and not worth the cost. The produce is not fresh and not enough to make more than one meal. The produce is comparable to what you can buy at the grocery store for a fraction of the price. Company uses misleading sales tactics to trick people into signing up. Second time I have ordered chicken from them and both times it has arrived well past the expiration date. It makes meal planning difficult. Their pork doesn't have an expiration date listed and I am going to stop ordering that as well because I have no idea if it is also expired. I just got my first box and everything looks like they just got them off the shelf of the grocery store. Half of the items were brown and wilted. One item was missing. You sent a door to door salesperson to my home during the height of the COVID-19 crisis to bother my spouse and I in the middle of our workday - are you kidding me?!?!? We've been getting no contact produce boxes from Pacific Coast Fruit, we have to pick it up, but we call them and unlock our trunk. The box seems to have much more than Full Circle is offering and they aren't bothering people in person!! If you're considering Full Circle, check out the reviews for the Seattle location. Someone got back to me today via email to let tell me they delivered the box and it was stolen. I would have appreciated someone letting me know that just so I could find an alternative, but I do feel its worth updating my review. They gave me a refund, which I appreciate, but if there is anything I'd like to pass on, it's that most people need communication more than refunds when it comes to food during a pandemic. It matters A LOT. To someone sick or with children who can't go to the store, knowing that you're going to get a refund rather than food... is info you NEED sooner than 5 days later. Your website says things are running behind, so its important to let people know that you show an order as delivered and won't be showing up with it soon. Having said that, I will change my rating. Homie knocks on my door and I open it, he talks for about 5 minutes straight and says "im just here to connect farmers with people like you" about 5 times. He manages to get my email address and shipping address. When I tell him that I dont even know when I would want to start the program, he said "thats ok, just type in your credit card number so that the farmers can reserve your spot" ... I told him "No thanks, ill type in my credit card number when I decide to get a box." .. he kept insisting on the credit card number and I felt like I was about to get scammed. I eventually had to cut him off and shut the door because of his persistence. I WILL NOT be ordering a box. If you're gonna go door to door selling stuff, the least you can do is be polite and take a ******* hint. read more

A honey-sweet sales rep came to the door (with her mask on or this would be a whole different review) and sold this service as a no-fees, weekly produce delivery that supports local farmers, and told me I would get $15 off if I signed up with her. I'm all about that description so I signed up, but what she failed to explain is that these scam artists charge you arms, legs, and first-born children for the same products I can get at the grocery store for a fraction of the cost. To top off the whole experience, a good deal of the boxes' contents arrived very noticeably rotten, (which must have been the case as they were being packed, meaning their inclusion was entirely intentional) or battered and bruised to the point of no longer being viable for storage. Looks like my rep also entered incorrect payment info, because I wasn't informed of how much these boxes cost until someone called me saying they weren't able to process $80+ in charges to my account, for TWO BOXES containing less than $30 worth of produce in the both of them put together... Oh and that $80+ was AFTER the $15 off. This could be a wonderful service... Too bad it's just another scam. read more

Disappointing waste of money. We signed up in September, prime Portland produce season, and our first box had potatoes, kale, two rock hard pears, and oranges that were almost entirely green. No tomatoes, in-season fruit, summer squash etc. I would have accepted this box in January because local is important to me, but I don't need green California oranges in September. Not to mention they forgot one of the items listed, and the "fresh sourdough bread" came from Seattle wrapped in plastic, with a hole in the bag to boot. We'll be cancelling immediately. read more

I spent a lot of time customizing my order, then looking forward to delivery. Unfortunately, my box never showed up. 3 days later, I called to ask what happened. After waiting on hold for several minutes, they explained that my box was delivered to a neighbor in error. Needless to say, I never saw it. I'm still waiting on a refund. I'm also waiting for them to confirm my account cancellation. Would have been nice of them to reach out to me in some way. Now I'm out $100 and still have to go to the grocery store. Super happy with this service and what it stands for. I love the quality of the food and the selection. Have to be quick with customizing though since some things will run out of stock quickly, but considering the food all comes from smaller farms, I'm not too bothered by this and can always wait a week to try again. I LOVE my Full Circle Farms boxes!!! I get a box each week, usually. I'm not a very "techie" person, so I had to call their super nice & helpful customer service guy the first time, but after that it was super easy. The quality of the produce is AMAZING! It tastes like I picked it out of my own garden! Every once in a while there is something not right about my order, but I chalk that up to actual humans being involved, & when I call to tell them about it, they take it off my bill. They only charge my card the Sunday following delivery, which I think is cool. It gives me a chance to inspect the food. If something's not right, they don't charge me for it! I also love that I can get my pancake mix, eggs, olive oil, pasta & dozens & dozens of other products from companies I already know & love from shopping at New Seasons. It also feels really good to know that my hard-earned money is going to small family farms. When I learned that "organic" CAN mean that farms are allowed to use a zillion different chemicals & still label the food as "organic" I was livid. But THESE farms actually DON'T use any chemicals. That means a LOT in this day & age of the honey bees dying off & waterways not being able to support life. They also have special days where they invite their customers to their farm that is the start of their system. Now I can say that I know (at least one of) my farmers! I highly recommend going there if you can. I got to see baby salmon in the creek that runs through their farm because they rehabilitated that waterway! FullCircle is AMAZING. My family and I LOAD UP on all their grocery items, cheese is a household favorite. Not only is it tasty, but it is ethical too! The farm workers get good livable pay and bennies! They are sustainable and it's super fresh. And if there are any issues I can credit myself for those items I wasnt happy with. I am happy to feel confident with how I spend my money with this company. 1 step closer to dismantling Big Agriculture. Woohoo small to med scale farms! I have tried many different grocery subscriptions and this one by far is the best! The flexibility provided by the website to customize your box each week makes it so easy to add things while you're in your open window for next weeks box. But the number one reason I love this subscription is the absolute freshness! I was sick and tired of buying produce from the grocery store just for it to go bad in a few days. If you want a review on the quality of produce delivered from a produce snob - this is it. I've received about five shipments now and can say I am in love with the produce. Everything delivered has been of the absolute highest quality! I have always told my husband that I could never use a shopping service because I'm so particular about my fruits and veggies. Full Circle has never sent me an item that I would not have personally chosen from the store or farmer's market. The last several orders I've increased the size to last us an entire week. I have been getting a Full Circle box for 3 years now. I started getting it in Seattle and all the produce I got there was pretty much perfect, really fresh and delicious and so convenient. I've been getting a Portland Full Circle box for almost 1/2 that time and while I have had a few issues with some items in my box I love the new feature where I can go into my account online and return any item before I pay for it. I never take things back to the supermarket, especially now, so I'm happy to have this feature. The vast majority of what I get in Portland is also fresh delicious and just about perfect. I'm so grateful to get my Full Circle box during this pandemic and to be able to stay safe at home and limit my exposure to supermarkets. I get a lot of the grocery items as well as the produce and all the grocery stuff like yogurt and cheese and mushroom jerky (wow so good), peanut butter and well you get the picture ... I do my shopping and it has all been great and I get to stay out of the stores. I personally wish my family who live in other areas of the USA could get this service too but there is nothing like this where they live. I wanted to like this service, I did. We stayed with it an entire year, blaming the pandemic or employment shortages, but realized it made no sense to keep working with them. We received produce that was moldy, spinach that was yellow and tough, broccoli that turned yellow within hours, clearly old and second hand fruit. I asked during the winter why the list was always celery root and multiple varieties of kale...couldn't they get organic produce from California? They answered that they only offered local...although they carry tea, coffee, bananas, oranges and more that aren't local to the PNW. Our frustration grew as spring hit, and the celery root continued. We often couldn't find $40 (minimum price) worth of produce we'd actually use, as overpriced bok choy or green beans disappeared in minutes when ordering opened. Then we realized the prices....Chucks, not known as cheap, had organic blueberries at 20% the cost of this CSA, and they looked a LOT better! While we love the idea of a CSA, we realized this big company delivers to a huge area including Seattle, Portland, Alaska. So not a small local coop of farms that we are supporting through a pandemic. It may feel that way, especially if you pick up at a farmers market where they hire locals to deliver. We've received old, split and damaged produce so often, we wondered if they thought we were scamming them when we refused to pay for it. So we took pictures to make sure we could defend our decision.
