I left a message for Rob at Adirondack Fence Builders regarding fixing or replacing a leaning…read moredouble sided gate. He called back promptly and set up a time to come by. He came and gave my husband and I direct and honest thoughts about the gate. Basically, he said that the lean was minimal and gave us options, including 1. Just shaving down the small part of the gate that was leaning up against the other gate, 2. replacing the warped gate post that caused the lean, but he cautioned that it might happen again after some time and possibly even worse, and 3. replacing the posts and gates and reinforcing with steel. He answered all of our questions and basically said that it wasn't worth it to us to replace the post or the gate. We really appreciate him taking the time to come out and being up front with the options and costs. We obviously didn't have the opportunity to work with him and thus can't speak about the workmanship but the consultation experience was positive.
