    Porky fries $14

We've enjoyed this eatery a few times at Hopnonymous Brewing, and because of COVID you gotta order some food. Great beer & tasty food. Hmmm...Sounds like a win-win to me. Full Belly is accurate. We were not hungry after enjoying some delicious Q. I've had the chance to try a few menu items from repeat brewery visits. Solid burger and pulled pork, and don't miss out on the smoked brisket, which pairs very well with the various beers on tap at Hopnonymous. If you're looking for the itis, Full Belly BBQ can help you with that.

Full Belly BBQ is definitely amazing! Darrell is the real deal. I was able to join him on a Friday evening at Hopnonomous brewing in Kearny Mesa. The beef ribs were recommended, but Darrell hooked me up with a bacon-wrapped hot link with cole slaw and his special white sauce (no jokes haha) instead...and I chose to get the beef brisket sandwich instead. The beef brisket was some of the best I've ever had in my life. Tender, smoky, absolutely delicious. NEXT time, the beef ribs shall be on my menu. When I ordered the sandwich, he literally pulled a full brisket onto the flat grill, cut a huge portion off and loaded my sandwich up. Have you ever been to Dickey's BBQ where they weigh your meat portions and take meat off if it's too much? Well, this was basically the absolute opposite of that. Heh. Darrell also hooked it up with some seasoned, hot and crispy crinkle cut fries. Mmmmmmm Come on by, you won't regret it. Full belly BBQ and Darrell can't compete with the best barbecue anywhere in my opinion.

Today they had the fall festival at the Rancho Bernardo Winery. In addition to the stores and the vast amount of vendors, they have a food area. Generally, it's the same stuff. Today I smelled BBQ. Wonderful! I walk over and ease drop on the exchange between a potential (SOLD) client and the owner, Darryl. Now I have to see what he is getting. The brisket plate. His includes fries and potato salad. $16 looks like enough for two happy campers to share. I felt like I was invading and didn't get to take a photo. Now I am intrigued and decide to give them a try. I ordered one chicken and one brisket sandwich to haul back to the car to take home. It's all to go, but I sneak a quick bite of each. Gosh, it's DELICIOUS! I'm just a bit disappointed it's not for me. My lucky and picky family get to enjoy the surprise... and did they! Now I'm on the hunt for another Full Belly encounter!

Full Belly BBQ was one of the vendors at the BBQ Fest I attended last Saturday. They were the only booth that actually served real barbecue, so of course there was a long line for their food. I tried a little bit of all their meats, which included the ribs, pulled pork, and sausage and also had their potato salad and coleslaw. Everything I ate was flavorful and delicious! The coleslaw was not drenched in mayo, so it was pretty light and refreshing. The ribs were my favorite and I love the extra sauce that was added on after it was taken off the grill. The owner is really nice and friendly- I got to chat with him a bit before the crowd came. Right now, they are only available at fairs and special events, but also do catering as well. They are hoping to expand at Costco, so I hope they are successful in their endeavors. Looking forward to tasting more of their barbecue in the near future!

Fully Belly BBQ is making some good eats. Grill Master Mac-D used three different types of woods to smoke his meats. I ran into these guys at Burning Beard Brewery in El Cajon and ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich combo with baked beans and house potato salad for $9. I asked for the BBQ sauce to come on the side ton control the amount on the sandwich. The BBQ sandwich came with a generous amount of smoked brisket. The brisket was tender and tasted quite good, but I would of liked to have sense a little more smokiness on the meat. It was a very good quality as well and came with a minimal amount of fatty pieces. The sandwich was simple but effective because of the brisket. It was just a couple of toasted buns, the brisket, and BBQ sauce. The addition of some nice crispy slaw would of been nice for added texture and a touch of acidity. I enjoyed both the potato salad and baked beans. The beans had a mild flavor but tasty nevertheless. They were all tender and the juice that came with the beans picked up a good bean flavor and was well seasoned. The potato salad was excellent in my opinion and came with a good mixture of small chopped celery and carrots. The potatoes were well cooked and it had a little bit of creaminess about it. It was a tasty potato salad. The bun the brisket sandwich came on was good. It was soft and moist and held up well to the mountain of brisket. The owner is quite nice and very informative regarding his trade. It was some fine grub.

Stopped in to Taste of San Diego. Saw this very personable fella serving up bbq brisket sandwiches. Decided to try. It was amazing!! Juicy, tender, flavorful. But I have to say his potato salad was my favorite!!! In the top five of my all time favs for sure and I love potato salad!!! Got to try this place If you ever get the opportunity.

They have a spot at the Santee Farmer's Market and every time I go there I always get food from them. Their brisket is amazing literally melts in your mouth with every bite ribs are delicious too and their potato salad is the best I've had. The meat is better than Phil's hands down.

Disappointed. Ribs were fatty and were chewy. Something changed. Even potato salad lacked flavor. Pricy for what you get.

Food and catering service were some of our highest priorities to get right during our wedding and Culinary Kitchen was phenomenal every step of the way. Our communication with Ashley and and JP before, during, and after the wedding was exceptional. From the very beginning, Ashley was very responsive and regularly checked in with us, which helped me feel less overwhelmed by all the catering decisions we needed to make. I tend to err on being extremely detail oriented and I asked tons of questions early on. Ashley was so patient and thorough with each email I had sent over even before booking. Before choosing our caterer, we did 3 different wedding caterer tastings and Culinary Kitchen easily was the best of all three (we're still thinking about the gochujang meatballs and the cavatappi pasta with fennel sausage!!). On our wedding day, the food service ran seamlessly and our guests often commented on how good the food was (guests were actually trying to sneak chicken tenders off the kids plates because even the kids meals were so good). Their team also helped us serve our desserts, did our bartending, and rented/placed all of our table settings, all at very reasonable prices as part of the entire catering package. The team also went above and beyond to accommodate all of our guests' special dietary needs while still helping us stay within budget and recommending a cohesive menu. One last thing - we did A LOT of research on different San Diego caterers before our wedding (I think we sent out inquiries to at least 10 other caterers) and Culinary Kitchen's catering packages felt the most "upscale" and comprehensive without leaving us feeling nickel and dimed for every line item. I truly felt like their team was on our side the whole way. THANK YOU Culinary Kitchen for catering our wedding day!! We wish you guys the best of success!

Quality imagination presentation --…read more Four Seasons Food Catering is owned by the marvelous duo Billy Burd and Sierra Ridenour-Burd. They make an amazing team. They catered a party for us at the The Thursday Club in Point Loma in March and dazzled everyone. When we were trying to choose a caterer we were attracted to Four Seasons by the imaginative and creative flair of Chef Billy Burd's cuisine and by their very positive reviews. One thing that caught our attention about the reviews was that many of them were fairly long. Apparently reviewers were not satisfied to give 5 stars and a paragraph of praise, they really wanted to testify. They felt that Four Seasons was special and they were motivated to let you know just how special. After experiencing Four Seasons catering service we can understand that sentiment. The culinary experience Four Seasons provided was marvelous. The dishes were imaginative, taste tempting, and a delight to the eye. Guests loved the appetizers that were passed: shrimp wrapped in basil and pancetta, mushrooms with escargot, parmesan crusted artichoke hearts. The stationary display had a choice assortment of cheeses and a selection of cold seafood that included jumbo shrimp, smoked salmon, ahi poke, and a sashimi platter all beautifully presented. Suffice it to say the buffet was equally spectacular. Chef Billy takes pride in the quality of the products he sources. The filet mignon for example was gorgeous. The shrimp served in the seafood display were so tasty that they made you stop and take notice. This was a once in a lifetime kind of party for us so we pulled out the stops when we were choosing items for the menu. It's very much to Billy and Sierra's credit that part of their response was to say that and they would be happy to offer some more budget friendly variations. We appreciated their inclination to work with clients to find good solutions to their needs. We enjoyed meeting with Chef Billy one time early in the planning process, but other than that, all the planning and coordination was handled by Sierra. She is fantastic and a pleasure to work with. She gave us recommendations on the initial approach to the menu, on down to details like the serving schedule, linens, and the table floor plan. We communicated mostly through email which was very productive because her emails, besides being congenial, were always clear and complete. And it was amazing how quickly she would reply, usually the same day. When it came to the final week before the party and it was time to summarize all the various emails and discussions Sierra nailed it, she recapped everything perfectly. The Four Seasons staff were wonderful. During the set up time they operated like clockwork. During the party they could not have been more charming and gracious. This is another major point to Billy and Sierra's credit. It takes care and effort to assemble a team of this quality--a group of individuals who interface harmoniously not only with the guests, but with each other, and with other vendors such as the florist. The whole event flowed thanks to the staff. When you are planning a special event you hope to create a joyful and memorable experience for all your guests.
