A few weeks ago I noticed the glaze on my tub was chipping. I reached out to my landlord, but they…read morewere having trouble finding someone to come fix it. I offered to find someone on my own and used the Yelp Request a Quote feature to reach out to several professionals in my area at once. William from Glorified Handyman replied so quickly, and after sending him photos of the issue with my tub I had a quote to get approved by my landlord within an hour of my request. Frank from William's team showed up at his scheduled time and I was immediately impressed with how organized he was. I've lived in my apartment since 2022 and this issue happened in June of 2024. The handyman that came to fix it back then came with so much less equipment than Frank so I was confident this pro knew what he was doing. One of my least favorite things about when people come to fix things is the mess they typically leave. Not Frank - he was extremely thoughtful about moving everything out of my bathroom, and completely covered the work area with towels / work mats as to leave as little mess as possible. In about two and a half hours I had a brand new looking re-glazed tub. It looks amazing and I am thinking with the detail he put into the work that this will last much longer than last time. The project ran me about $450 which I think is reasonable based on my research. They followed up after the work with an invoice and they take both credit card or zelle which is great. For most of my adulthood I've done the very Miami thing of of finding a handyman through word of mouth and have been met with varied degrees of reliability and quality of work. Not with this project! Going forward I'll be using the Glorified handyman services when I need to get a project done around my place.

This job total cost $8340. He got paid once he collected $6400 and from $6400 I only authorized $4400. $1400 as a deposit to save the date $3000 less then half way done. When he asked for another $2000 I told him I will pay him when he finishes the job with the additional $2000 is owed. I come to find out that he abounded the job and charge me $2000 plus fees without my authority. I turned off my credit card so it couldn't be used. He was suppose to do the following $1800 for the tile removal, installation of new tile of the stair case with the hall. Included base boards (painted & cocking). I had told him to leave the stairs for last because I wasn't sure yet of that project I wanted it done. However he started the stairs without my consent . Yet he started the stairs and hallway but didn't finish it. My husband said don't make a big deal. I wanted to wait on the stairs . Then $600 to install ceiling led light . That is the only thing he finished . Another $600 to remove stucco from kitchens ceiling and make it a plain surface. Started and didn't finish. Didn't sand it nor paint it . $5800 to remove old tile and place the new porcelain tile 24x48 . That also included remove baseboard install new baseboard (Including painting and cocking) never finished it. I was cleaning the floor and under the dish washer he cracked a tile and just put grout and tried to cover it up. I don't recommend this guy. He claims his got a full staff of people now he only has 1 guy helping that doesn't know how to anything but cut tile. Yet he treat this poor man in humanly. Yells and calls him names .
