We were passing through and we stopped for gas and filled up and I went inside. Some guy was ahead of me (who walked in at the same time as me) and I politely asked for the key to the restroom and he said sorry I'm closed. Except the door was unlocked and he just helped a guy less than 10 seconds before me. Who denies someone to go to the bathroom? So maybe you cleaned it but I'm not going to piss all over the floor. I just got off of the 299 and Redding is the first major stop before getting on the freeway again, it should be expected that people will stop here for a pit stop. I looked at my phone as I walked out of the door and it said 10:30 but I was in the store and it was a simple ask and he helped the guy I walked in with! We stop often as Chevron's even if it's a higher price almost always because we appreciate the better service and nicer quality of stations and bathrooms. That's right UP from 4%, using the Citi Costco card at the Costco gas pump gives you rebates of 5% now. So, if gas if around $4.00 a gal, that gives you back 20 cents a gallon! The Citi Costco card is FREE, no fees and you also get 2% back on all Costco store purchases. It acts as your membership card when you go into the warehouse. The station is clean and all the pumps work well and the scanner for your Costco card works perfect, no multiple tries to get it to scan like those cheap junkie gas stations. Cheapest gas around! The brothers and rest of the family that own it are always so kind and accommodating! I bring my own lunch from home a lot (or buy Ramen from them) and they let me use the microwave without any problem ever. The two brothers that run a lot of the station are always so friendly and even gave me a free item on my birthday a week ago! I enjoy supporting local places that treat their community with kindness and old-fashioned neighborly friendliness. Come here to get gas and snacks the next time you need to fill up or eat!
