It is close to the University campus as well. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Yes, they speak English (and Hmong)! First off, their papaya salad is delicious. You have the option to make your own or you could ask the owner to make it fresh. It starts at $5. She puts snips of long mung bean and mango in it. It's incredible and my opinion, the most flavorful papaya salad in town. Secondly, the store is organized. When you enter, you'll hit the snacks first then head to the back for the produce, the frozen items, then canned goods and jars are in the middle. You can find paste for hot pot / shabu shabu, Korean BBQ sauce, dumplings, an assortment of fresh mushrooms, an assortment of rice / wheat / tapioca flours, instant ramen from several countries, and all kinds of fried rice noodles. Don't be afraid to ask for help finding something. They hang out in the front or they would be walking around, stocking up items. They've given me tips to perfect purple sticky rice, suggest items for my hot pot party, and even helped bring a bag of rice to my vehicle. This is "The Asian Market" to hit if you need an ingredient to make a dish. Located in the same parking lot as Marvin's.

I couldn't find it anywhere in Waupaca except at this store, and they charged an insane 18-20$ for the same bottle! Too bad as the idea of a store like this on main street is great, but no one want's to be ripped off, right?

Typical of Kwik Trip, the store is clean, the help friendly, and the shelves are well stocked including the hot food bar. If an item is missing, just ask, they'll make it up for you.
