They have different kind of smoothies from superfood, high protein, low carb, and more flavours too. A bit overpriced though especially consider it's in Burnaby and Vancouver's prices are usually lower or a bit lower than NYC. This is the exact small price as a protein smoothie in Manhattan. It's good and satisfy your craving for something sweet and to fill you up as a healthier option, but it's not worth the money all the time. Maybe once in a blue moon if I'm around the area

I went into this location at 930pm as this is the only Body Energy Club that closes at 1030 on a Friday night. I went in to get the usual and one of the item is the liquid l carnitine. Upon paying for them there were two workers, one asian guy who I think makes smoothies and another guy with darker skin and long hair who I believe does cashier and customer service. I wish I knew his name, he was SO informative and very knowledgeable. I always get the liquid L'Carnitine as it gets into my system fast, he told me I should be taking 2-4 tbsp. I didn't know that and only been taking 2tbsp since summer as it states that on the bottle. He also suggested to take the pills as it lasts longer and told me how much to take. He also shared his experience with pill formed L carnitine when he was prepping for his show last year. We also talked about nutrition and how I dislike salads. He told me I just need to find a good salad dressing and wrote a dressing recipe down for me as he loves salad and how he makes his salad and salad dressing from scratch. I have never experienced such customer service or knowledge until yesterday. I have been to many locations and the staff has always been helpful, but yesterdays experience was something else. BEC, please find out who that guy was and tell him good job!

I was lucky enough to win a meal prize pack from Body Energy and loved being feed a week worth of lunches. The chicken penne pasta was absolutely delicious and I think I might actually prefer it over regular beef bolognese - it's THAT GOOD! All the wraps and sandwiches were also really nice but the standout is the Thai curry chicken - love the crunchy and peanut sauce! There were a plethora of options and it was really hard to pick, so I chose the first item that caught my eye visually! I got the unicorn smoothie that had a mix of coconut, strawberries and mango (from memory). Right choice-- one best smoothies. I can't even decide what kind of flavour it had. It just tasted like unicorn and magic in a cup lol. The guy at the counter was patient when I didn't know what to pick, and he told me to choose whey if I'm not lactose intolerant. Price wise, after tips and tax it was a little over $16, which is quite steep for a smoothie. But the size of the cup was close to a venti at Starbucks if that gives you a gauge. This was a special ish summer drink, so maybe that's why it's a bit more expensive. If you choose other drinks from their menu, it'll probably be a bit less expensive. Don't quote me on it though. They also sell a bunch of health supplements, and which grab and go sandwiches and drinks! I want to try their smoothie bowls in the future!

At the Lonsdale shop, one orders and receives a delightful smoothie of one's choosing, then walks up to the till at the front of the store to pay. Another wee difference is that this store has no seating. To compare the two shops a bit further, I found the North Van location to be a bit more laidback than the Victoria's on Hornby. I'd imagine that the Hornby shop also sees a ton more foot traffic and that, too, could make for a less relaxed atmosphere. I came for the smoothies, but for the vitamin/supplement head, this store would seem to have all you need. (If not, then there's a competing health food store just down the road & across the street.)
