First off, shame on this company for wasting so much energy leaving the front doors wide open when it was literally 100 degrees outside! They are literally air conditioning the heat outside. We walked in and the first thing they said was that they were out of regular chocolate ice cream. I was getting a chocolate peanut butter shake so using the triple chocolate ice cream was OK. The shake is very good. There were no places to sit as there are only 3 tables inside. We just stood until a table opened up. The table area is disgusting! No one came to clean up the mess that was everywhere while we were there. One of the workers just sat on a stool and played on his phone. I actually saw another worker mopping the inside area where the cash register is, but never the guest area. And let me tell you, this place is a special type of nasty. There is years of black stuff all over the bottom part of the windows. While we sat and ate our ice cream, 100 degree heat was pouring into the wide open doors. read more

The ice cream WAS great and the service great. the cones however, were stale, every surface was sticky, the place filthy. The very nice clerk with a band aid used her bare arm and hand to dig into the ice cream with the scoop and then rang me up with the same sticky hands. read more

Walked in with my family excited to get some ice cream and the Lady on staff refused to serve us because she was in the middle of making fudge. She was very rude to us, like we were pests disturbing her, and we were customers anxious to spend money at her business! We'll never be going back. read more

So the fudge is really good. The shop is filthy! I don't understand why no one is cleaning this place.

$22 a pound for caramel turtles. $ 8 a slice for fudge. Reasonable prices for high end sweets. But this is not high end sweets. It's a poorly stocked money grab near the visitor center. read more

If there ever was a place to set your inner fat kid free...this is it!! Everything is so good and beautifully presented. Friendly staff who dont mind you standing there lusting after the treats and they even give you napkins to wipe off the drool. Today I tried their caramel apple. It was INCREDIBLE. They taste exactly how they look, beautiful. I'm laying in bed right now thinking through different fantasies of my next visit. So Good!! read more

We couldn't find the other place that sold caramel apples, so we stopped in here. DON'T DO IT! Not only was the door wide open and letting heat in but our apples were molded! She cut the apples and handed them to my husband so there was no way that she didn't see that molded stick. When I went back to ask for a refund, she didn't ask what the issue was or anything. It's odd that an employee wouldn't ask what the reason for refund was--unless she knew and wasn't surprised. Just gross! read more

The turtle is yummy and the manager sings as you order which is hilarious. The turtle had pecans topped with good old caramel. It's huge too. The candy apples looked good but I decided not to because I gotta watch my figure lol. Overall, a quick yummy treat while shopping! read more

The employees were being loud and disrespectful dancing around and acting like fools. The chocolate was hot and the Real fruit smoothies or terrible. There's much better places in the area to get chocolate or a smoothie I recommend going down the street read more

Heads up: only get the FUDGE from this store.. not ANYTHING ELSE! The fudge is the only good thing about this store (and it's even expensive!) The ice cream was very over priced and just average, and the waffle cone was stale. Not good. The chocolate covered banana smoothie was watered down with too much ice and was not worth the $5 price. The service was not the good either. I think everyone working there was new (at least I hope so) because no one really had any idea what they were doing and had to keep asking each other what to do. Also, I had to tell the cashier multiple times what I ordered and he just stared and me, looking confused. The whole experience took a lot more time than it needed to. Overall, I would not return. I hope that in the future they check the quality of their waffle cones and put more effort into employee training. read more

The cashier was so rude and there was literally no one since it was raining. She kept making a face at us for no reason. The ice cream was okay read more

Years back we found the Fudgery in a different location and we have always said this is the best fudge we have ever had and would like to go back but that was in A different state. Went to the outlet mall in San Marcos and came across this location to say I was excited is an understatement. We walk up and they had the doors wide open and it's 85 outside and was not thinking I would be sweating inside the store. The store itself was clean however the young lady who waited on us cashed us out with gloves on and then proceeded to bag my fudge after touching my cash. Thankfully she used paper to grab the fudge so I was able to eat it. My husband order a java ice cream and said it was a waist of money. The fudge was amazing as I remember lol in fact I want to make another trip for fudge . The staff was extremely kind and singing songs as they made fudge. The reason I don't rate it 5 stars is the lack of food safety and touch my food with nasty gloves she used to handle cash. I can deal with it being hot inside but the other problem it's hard to see past. read more

Sherbet was gooey and old tasting, lemonade was weak and terrible, overcharged us for it by $3 and then said, "oh my bad" when we pointed it out. Bad way to our outlet trip. read more

Would not recommend this place. The Dreyer's ice cream was icy and a little gooey with not much flavor. I could only eat a couple of bites. The peanut butter fudge was alright. It tastes a little old and too crystallized sugary. They would only allow you to buy one slap at $9. Too pricey for the taste in my opinion. Skip this place and go to Buc-cee's instead. It's a short ways down the road and has much better fudge and snack options. read more

12/7/19 1 other customer in store who the 3 servers were talking and joking around with. Everyone seems high and having a good time. We couldn't get service so l just walked out. Daughter stayed had to ask for service. They all were surprised that she actually wanted to buy something. read more

Terrible fudge. The only reason I gave it a 1 is for the rice crispy treat it was good. I bought $20 worth of fudge and threw it in the trash it tasted so bad. read more

Their Java Chillers are amazing! The fudge is fantastic, as well. The female staff member helping us asked us repeatedly what our order was stating she had other things on her mind. I have a pretty high tolerance for substandard customer service, so I won't knock them for that. Seriously, though, the fudge is AMAZING!! read more

Fudge was so stale we couldn't eat it. Didn't find out until we got home and tried it hours later. Can't bring it back as we do not live near there. Turtle was old or at least the pecans were old. This is our third time there. First time it was not good. But at the prices they charge I will not be back. Spent $40+ there. read more
