Definitely more upscale than a lot of the places nearby and the prices reflect that, but overall reasonable. Accessibility/Service Major downside: not wheelchair accessible AT ALL. Front entrance has 4 large steps and various sections throughout the store have 1-3 steps, plus a large (semi steep) set of stairs to the basement area. No one asked me if I needed assistance in the 30 minutes I was in the store ( not that I needed help, but no one asked)

I gave a call first and spoke to the owner as to what I was looking for she gave me four or five options and explained to me this is all they could carry because they are an independent toy store! Unfortunately, I do shop sometimes online, but I prefer seeing it touching it even if I have to pay a little bit more I like to do my own gift wrapping as well so I got in the car, took myself almost an hour away and they have a great selection of everything that has to do with a child from stuffed animals to Books to Star Wars to collectibles I found just what I needed and something else too, and I will be sure to be going back at Christmas time and at all the birthdays I'm so happy I found Toy Land

Studio 550 is an unbelievably welcoming pottery studio! My mom and I signed up for the 10-week…read morepottery wheel class with Sue this past summer, and we walked in with absolutely no experience. We were lucky enough to have Sue as our instructor--she is incredibly talented, patient, and such an amazing teacher. Within the first hour of our very first class, she had us making our own pieces! Sue makes sure every student's questions are answered and that everyone gets the individual support they need. Her love for pottery is truly contagious, and she spends each class cheering on her students, encouraging them to try new things, and helping them reach their goals. She also took the time to look back through our finished pieces with us, talking about what we had made, what we had learned, and how much we had improved throughout the class. By the end of the 10 weeks, we had a whole collection of pots that we had thrown, trimmed, and glazed ourselves. It was so rewarding to look back at what we created and see how much we had learned and improved. I loved the class so much that I immediately signed up for another pottery wheel class with Sue! I couldn't recommend Studio 550 and Sue enough, especially for anyone who is completely new to pottery and wants to learn in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment.

They also have a small selection of rough minerals (a couple of tables of common minerals, there were 2 pieces of petrified wood). As the name suggests, it's primarily a bead shop. Prices are higher (1.5-2x more than the most affordable stores). But if you're looking for beads shaped like specific things - a dog, a palm tree, etc. - the variety here is excellent. The service was fine. I was greeted, offered help while I browsed, check out was easy.

It's time to update this review, as this bead shop has a new location in Nashua since my last one…read more I actually stumbled upon this newest location while stopping nearby for lunch, which was a happy accident. This bead store has a good selection of seed beads, glass beads, semi precious stone beads and findings. The staff member who took care of me was knowledgeable and helpful, and I appreciate the excellent customer service. In this age of increasing on line shopping, it's especially nice to find Beadles still in business. Especially for those of you who may be new to beading and/or jewelry making, buying the right thing on line can be very confusing. I know I really value the one on one expertise of a professional, and bead sizes can be mystifying. The slight increase in price that you pay in person is definitely worth it, and Beadle's prices are reasonable.

This is the kind of bookstore you just want to linger in--we'll definitely be coming back and making this our go-to spot!
