I used to stop at that particular A&W location for the root beer floats, which served flat root beer most of the time and the employees there could care less. I hoped the next visit would be better than the previous visit, but it just didn't happen there. This A&W Restaurant in Saint John resembles a retro 1950s style drive-in restaurant which has a self serve dining room and drive-thru. A&W serves up their signature Burger Family Combos including Papa, Mama, Double Mama, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, Teen, Double Teen, Chicken Grill Deluxe, Veggie Deluxe, Chubby Chicken Strips, Chubby Burger, and Chubby Fried Chicken buckets. They are also featuring Sirloin Uncle Burger Combos too! The Combos come with choice of fries or side salad (similar concept to Wendy's) and A&W Root Beer. For additional charge(s), you can upgrade to onion rings or poutine instead of fries and also upgrade from a root beer to a root beer float. The A&W Restaurants in the USA do not serve poutines, but also serve up hot dogs, chili dogs, corn dog nuggets, fried cheese curds, and ice cream treats.
