    Cholados (back) & Mangonada (front)
    Jenny M.

I've had mangonada from other but I never knew if it was legit. Then I tried it at another location and I just thought... maybe mangonada isn't for me. But I have it a try here at Frulados and man oh man, it makes me think other places weren't doing it right (lol). The fruit is fresh, sweet, it just simply hits. I don't think you can go wrong with ordering anything else on their menu. It's great :) **also the location is located in a Mexican restaurant! Not the supermarket.

For lovers of all things sweet and tangy, here comes this great raspados' place. Located inside a supermarket, you will find the store at the right side of the entrance. There's a menu with many delicious concoctions that makes it hard to decide what to choose, I wanted to try at least three combinations but settled for a mangoneada which was flavorful and great. My husband ordered the frescolita raspado with condensed milk and loved it. I enjoyed my sweet treat and plan to return for more.

This is a quaint little spot sitting on the corner of a supermarket plaza. It's small inside but there quality is great . I was looking for a dessert spot different than the usual Ice cream places and this is perfect . They have fresh fruits, ice cream and sorbets and great toppings . This was my first time ordering a cholado although I've had raspado before . The cholado was huge and packed with fruits like bananas, papaya, strawberries, apple, mango , I believe she put sorbet of soursop, lulo and passion fruit . Too with condensed milk , shaved coconut flakes and a wafer cookie . Let me tell you it was so good I couldn't stop Eating it ! And not in a gluttonous I feel bad eating this way , more like this is delicious , sweet but not overpowering way . The mangoneada is a classic Mexican treat with mango , tamarind, chamoy, tajin and you can ask for the tamarind stick . Needless to say we're coming back again ! For 6.00 each you can't go wrong .

This ice cream/shaved ice fruit stand is actually located in a Hispanic food mart, Supermercado El Bodegon. It was hard to find it at first but after walking around the market it's actually at the entrance near the registers. There were plenty of parking outside and the store was huge. I love spicy mangos made in the streets of NYC so I was craving this. I've never had the shaved ice spicy mango in this form so I was excited to try it. I ordered the mangonada which came with chunks of mango, crushed ice, chili powder, and a tamarind covered straw. This had the perfect mixture of sweet, spicy, and sour. This was so refreshing on this hot summer Florida day. This is very popular with the Mexican culture especially in California. I found this through Yelp, thank you Yelp because I would've never known where to find this unique creation. They offered other types of flavors as well. My husband had the chocolate ice cream. Whenever I'm in the mood for this, I'll definitely be back!

There was this day I was cravinggggg a diablito and I went on this frantic crazed yelp search for some Mexican raspados. I totally understand there are similar things in other Latin countries but I needed a dose of my SoCal. Literally drove a solid 30-40 minutes to this Columbian market (I think it's columbian, ahh sorry if I'm wrong!) anyway, for a moment I was at peace. Felt like I was transported back home but it was missing all the Mexican desserts and candies. Anyway anyway this review is about the raspados joint inside the market so let me keep it moving. I got a mangolada and letttt me tell you I was not disappointed! Sat in my car and ate this baby so lovingly. It wasn't exactly like home but totally worth the drive! Mangos and chamoy oooemmmgeee chamoy on everything! If you're craving a nice raspado then this is the place to go. It's really a shame there aren't more spots like this in south Florida.

Mangonada, extra chilli please!! And tamarind candy stick, yes yes yes!

I've been looking for a place like this every since I moved to Florida. This cup of mango flavored shaved ice, tamarind shaved ice, mango chunks, and chilli power is like heaven in your mouth. Every time I eat one of these mangonadas it reminds me of my childhood in Southern California. The sweet, spicy, and sour combination is iconic of the Mexican culture. This small raspados shop is tucked away in the bodega (Spanish market), just ask and someone will point it out to you. Most of the employees don't speak English, so I just showed them a picture of it on my phone and the girl directed me to the corner of the store. The lady making the mangonadas thought she was doing me a favor by skimping on the chilli powder, but I had to reassure her that this asian girl could hang! Don't worry if you don't like spicy, they have a bunch of fruit flavored shaved ice. And you can add chopped up fruit and condensed milk on top. My son loved his pineapple and condensed milk combo. I will definitely be back! So glad I found a little slice of home in south florida.

Hidden inside a Hispanic grocery store, Frulados is literally the perfect spot for a sweet treat. We are always looking for phenomenal unknown spots to share with the community and Frulados is one of those. For the cholados you chose your ice cream and fruit toppings then they top it with condensed milk. It's a traditional Colombian dessert. They are have a few other menu items like regular ice cream options and a delicious strawberries and cream dessert!

Never had this before today but it was so yummy! Best 5 bucks I have spent! It's inside the Colombian supermarket "el bodegón"
