I had my dog with me so he came over to the car and fussed over the dog. We talked for about 10 minutes. Since it's only about five miles from where I live I plan on going back again. We waited for about two hours, but it was well worth it. The prices are unbelievable. Surprisingly there were no unbearable odors and the staff was pretty fast. I realized what took so long is customers not having an idea of what they wanted and those who also wanted to bargain. The first two times I went I spent about $100 total. Each time the meat lasted our family of three at least three months. We were literally spending a couple of hundred dollars a month at the chain supermarkets. My colleague also has a family of three and she goes every 6 to 7 months. To make your experience better there are a few things you should do. 1) Make sure you have a thick jacket because its very cold and you can be standing inside for some time waiting for others to put in their orders. 2) Have an idea of what meats you want and how much you want. 3) Go on a weekday if you don't want to have to wait in line for hours. If you're someone who likes to have your hand held and your a customer who needs to be coddled through the purchase process, do the rest of us a favor and stay at the local supermarket. This is a fast-paced environment and the staff doesn't have time to stroke your ego as they have so many people to take care of in a short amount of time.
