Love this store. They have really cute sanrio merch that's reasonably priced. Please keep in mind…read morethat this stuff is from overseas and with the current climate, things will be a bit pricier. They have really cool sanrio merch that's I rarely see in person. I absolutely love the stationery. I always pick up sticky notes and pens here.

If you're fancy like me, I don't see why you wouldn't like this shop! Right next to the food court…read moreat Koreatown Plaza, I usually pop in before a bite. Now I don't usually bring other people's reviews into my own, but...Did someone really give 1 star because they bought what they thought was the real Stanley Cup? ^_^ Well, you won't find stuff like that here. It's all gifts and cute stuff, fun things and just an adorable-ness overload with some anime and Kpop stuff thrown in. I'm 100 years old and my friends & I loved Mashimaro when we were little! I was SO happy to see a black and gray Mashimaro tote in the store. It was overpriced at $80, as are most things in here, but it's not absolutely terrible pricing. I mean it's vintage at this point, lol. In general, the pricing here isn't quite as bad as you'd think within a mall. The store is overpacked with items squeezed in to maximize the small store space. I think the merchandise may have been upgraded since reviews from several years ago because I didn't see anything that was not decent to high quality. I'll definitely shop here again.

This very popular three-level indoor mall has a great food court and ground level supermarket…read more These two places also have the fairest prices. While it was great to see only two empty storefronts, most businesses sell overpriced to super overpriced products to stay afloat. The mall is dated-looking, with a defunct water fountain, but the open second floor bathed in natural sunlight gives off soothing, chill vibes. The food court has about 9 places, mostly Korean but also a Vietnamese and Japanese katsu options. We ate fresh bi bim naeng myun (very chewy buckwheat noodles), ja jang myun (chewy noodles with black bean sauce and a nice amount of minced beef or pork), and fish cake on a skewer. Some places charge for a to go container and the cranky employee at the naeng myun place (the name's only in Korean, Kang San Myun Ok, refused to sell me to go in separate containers. Excuse me for wanting to separate the chewy noodles from the broth, as the noodles will lose elasticity from a long drive. The food court had many televisions broadcasting a World Cup match. There eating area is spacious with tables are cleared and wiped quickly. The outdoor dining are was closed the day we went. The supermarket is huge, organized and has the viral fruit-shaped ice cream that I adore, for $4.99 each. There's a Cake House bakery with mildly sweet Asian pastries and hot beverages. Their cakes are very expensive and beautiful. Cake slices are also sold. The mall has women's clothes, skin care, a bank, bookstore, children's toys, handbags and jewelry, and knick-knacks or collectibles. There's even a flower shop on a parking level right by the supermarket entrance. We were surprised to spend about 4 hours there. It's easy to spend a lot of time here as the parking is free! I will be back for the food and accessories in support of Korean-owned businesses.

The Bottom Line 3 stars: A good place to stop by IF you are in the area, for general groceries and…read moreKorean food specialty items, and/or to have some decent and reasonably priced Korean food. The Little Bean coffee shop is also worth a visit (see my sepataete review). Recommended! Location 4 stars: SE corner of Olympic and Western in southern K-Town, to the West of DTLA/LA Live. Free self parking on premises. Venue 3 stars: Older shopping complex, consisting of the Galleria Supermarket on the lower level and 2 levels of shops. Extensive Food Court on the 3rd floor. Store mix 3 stars: Mostly mid-to-low tier unbranded clothing and health stores. A nice coffee shop on the second level (Little Bean Coffee). The food court is massive, with tens of Korean restaurants. I recommend Galleria Tonkatsu and Jin Su Sung Chan.
