The owner, Nam... big smile!

I finally got to visit the magical fruity wonder known as COCO FRUIT! You're probably wondering how a place can stay open just selling fruit.... and can the fruit actually be that much better? Uh.... it CAN. It IS!! This fruit is better than any fruit you can get in Koreatown, possibly the best fruit in LA! And everything is immaculately clean, ripe and sweet and fragrant, and the charming owner Nam is there to be your guide, gifting you with samples and flattery. It's an experience worth searching out!

Come here every now and then. Real nice/friendly owner, gives out samples and freebies too. Fruit quality very high, prices solid. Highly recommend.

go to coco, you won't be disappointed. the fruit is excellent, the shop itself is, interesting... there is one very nice guy who is proud of his fruit, the other guy just about yells at you. the full experience is random but great. go to coco, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Quite possibly the best fruit in Los Angeles... The mangos we buy from here are the best I have ever had, seriously, the best ever.

Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly as well! I loved the entire experience and found myself smiling throughout the store! Haha! It truly was an excitable experience! International | What a variety of seasonal and exotic produce! I was amazed by so many items that I've never seen or even heard of before, including green almonds with the outer shell, which felt like velvet! I also saw some of the biggest heirloom tomatoes ever! I felt like a kid in a candy store, however, it was delicious and colorful fruit instead! I enjoyed every moment of discovering of new items! Variety is key | There was definitely a variety of price points, some higher than others! You choose what works for you! Inside | Neat and tidy! Many items were lined up ,which I love! The prices were clear, front and center! I absolutely loved that! There was also a sign showing where in the world the items were from, so cool! Sightings | While exploring the store with my Chef friend, I was introduced to another Chef and she was fun to speak to as well! It was fun, checking out the large tea section with her! Also, fun running into a recording artist that I listen to on a regular basis and chatting, as well as being invited to her upcoming event! What a fun & popular store! Checkout | Customer service was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the store, as I interacted with several people who answered my questions easily, and with a smile! I ended up getting delicious, stuffed dates, sesame cookies, a fruit called mamey sapote & another exotic fruit, which I can't think of the name of at the moment (Total $26)! My Chef friend got watermelon water & the recording artist got coconut water! Overall | Yes, please! I'm grateful that my Private Chef friend introduced me to this market! I'm still thinking about a few items inside of the market that I would definitely love to try! I'll definitely be back and thanks again for the inviting and fun experience! Who knew a supermarket could be so exciting?!! Let's go!

I don't come here often because it's not too close to me but on the occasion, it's fun the stop by and see what they have. I can almost guarantee you won't leave empty handed! One of the best parts of Sasoun produce by far is their customer service. Every interaction here has been so lovely, it feels like you're visiting a friend or family member. Just their customer service alone is enough to keep me as a lifelong customer :)

I love these types of stores so it would've been easy for me to spend lots of money there but I held back! Worth it if you're looking for any sort of unique baking supply.

Had a real quick trip here recently, and I'd be less and honest if I didn't say I was a bit bummed…read more I actually found what I came here for (I needed some British double heavy cream) for a particular dish, though I couldn't help but reminisce when this location used to be in Culver city. There are a number of reasons why the Culver City location was so much better, but perhaps the main drawback at this LA location is the fact that the former had a real sense of ambiance, and uniqueness, particularly when it came to its cozy little cafe section. Now the "cafe" is pretty much just a space within a space. Another real draw to the Culver City location was the fact that they actually had a separate section where "Guest Chefs" could come in and teach entire classes via cooking classes that sometimes you have to sign up for in advance, and other times you could just kind of walk in on it. That was dope! And while the staff was friendly enough, and again ( don't get me wrong it's still a place that I will be back to to purchase much needed product), it's just an unfortunate reality that sometimes no....you can't duplicate the past.
