We booked the candle-making session as a couple and were assisted by two young women who unfortunately did not seem very welcoming or engaged. During our session, they had personal conversations directly in front of us, including comments about how they did not want to be there. That made the experience feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. For the cost, I also expected a more extensive candle-making experience with a larger variety of options and scents to choose from. The selection felt very limited for the price. The music was definitely the best part of the experience and created a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not return.

They have so many different things from herbs to candles to books to tarot decks to crystals, etc etc. High quality items that are priced fairly. I was especially impressed with their wide variety of herbs. I especially loved their house made candles. I purchased some herbs and candles. The owner was there and checked us out. And she even offered to cleanse and dress my jar candle for me for free. Which was such a lovely touch. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Now that I've seen how fantastic this shop is, I am going to be a regular customer. Black owned, LGBT+ safe

They had a party going on in one space, cigar lounge in another, bar in another, creative lab in another, billiards and other games in another, and we were on the 3rd floor enjoying our after party. They provided food catering and drinks. They had music playing and the place was a total vibe! Service was excellent and I even got to meet one of the friendly owners Robert. It's a membership club and appears to be well worth the money. Tons of unique multi-use spaces throughout. Stays open late as well. It's a cool and hip space to work or be social.

This was our first time working on a wheel and we had a ball. Our instructor, Nila, was super helpful and provided clear instructions throughout the hour. The class has a max of 12 people and the space is well setup to allow for a personalized experience. You get to choose what color glaze gets applied. They fire your piece for you and you can pick it up in three weeks. There's a small parking lot, but I'd leave some extra time in the event you need to find street parking. We came on a Sunday and didn't have any issues finding street parking a few doors down. We'll definitely be back!

I like how the classes are organized because clay, glaze, tools, and kiln firings are all included in the cost of the class. The space is huge and has multiple tables and rooms to practice your ceramic skills. They even have a semi-outdoor garage area for potters to set up in. In addition to the great space, the staff are all super helpful. The owner, Jess, and teacher, Brooklin, make the space very inviting and informative. It's a great environment to ask questions and be inquisitive about the process. Also, all the other potters who go there, whether members or students, are happy to share their knowledge with newcomers. I would recommend taking the "Bowl in One" class first for just $60 before committing to a whole month of classes. But I promise, once you start at Still Life, you won't ever want to stop.

I love that you can dine on the furniture and that there is really yummy food and drink here. Back in May 2025, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to get each other a couch for our anniversary. They were having an awesome sale on the clip products for Memorial Weekend here. We knew from previous times that we really liked that sofa and wanted to wait a little to see if there were any upcoming sales. At the time, they were looking for a new furniture salesperson, so someone from the restaurant team took our info. She was the one who shared the sale with us. We had a pretty good experience ordering our clip sofa and ottoman. I love how customizable each piece is. They were beyond patient and kind with us while we ordered. The person who helped us was kind, but there were a lot of technical issues that made the ordering process take a long time. The timeline for our couch to arrive was also delayed. It came a few weeks later than expected. The delivery men were really kind too though! The clip products are quality pieces and really pretty. We get a lot of compliments on our couch. I highly recommend getting the ottoman with it so you can turn it into an L couch or have something to put your feet up on.
