The items are clean and in very good condition. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful. This store does home pickups in the area. The prices are very good consistently and significantly beating Goodwill. Just because it doesn't have a desired product on one trip, it's likely to have it with return trips.

I have been to this Goodwill three times, three different days and I have had a good experience each time. The staff is very friendly at check out! The dressing rooms were open and clean. I appreciate that everything is sorted well and sizes are together, too (mens, womens--and further, dresses, tanks, shirts, long dresses, maternity, etc) The best part honestly is the up front and honest pricing. It doesn't matter if it's a walmart dress or calvin klein dress- it's 7.99. Shirts are 3.99.. I'm not seeing 8-15 for a single thrifted t shirt here. I drive from Portsmouth to shop here. It is worth it!

Once you have everything loaded in your car you just pull up they'll assist you getting everything out and give you a receipt for tax purposes. I love it here...very clean and neat inside. I say this after numerous visits to this particular DAV store and have seen long term consistency. I found it always clean and nicely organized, with a great selection. A large amount of adult men's and woman's clothing, as well as a nice amount of children clothing. It also has a decent amount of used books, for you bookworms. You can also find a lot of seasonal/holiday bric and brac items. I will also say that the staff have always been very nice. One thing I will also mention is that the fitting rooms have been closed for a long time (during COVID) and appear they don't intend to open them again. My guess is the COVID mess or theft are the reason. This is a bit inconvenient. Now for value. Of course you save by shopping at these places and supposedly profits go to a great cause. I will say this, that I'm seeing prices even going up at thrift stores, including here. So if you're looking for a place to browse and save a few $$$$, go and enjoy this place.

Not a lot of shoes, but not a big deal -- just a note. On my second visit and as a first-time consignor, I casually met Michelle (the owner) and wow, was she super pleasant! A genuine friendly customer exchange literally gives me a greater joy in supporting small businesses. They host a Facebook live showcasing new items every week. That's kinda cool. You can also shop online at any time. When you consign with them, you do not get any money on the spot; you get a check once a month. Overall, I find Michelle's to be a better experience than franchise consignment shops and I'm pretty sure you will, too.

They are getting new items in daily. So try and go whenever. They had a bargain area where just about everything is dumped into bins and you have to sort through it all giving all things covid, I only went in the room and walked around. It made me anxious being in there. In the other room it was nicely organized, and not as rowdy. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was amazing. They were so polite. I was impressed by a male cashier while there. He cut himself with some needles on some fake flowers.
