I've been to a lot of froyo places and this one was just all right. It's a very small store tucked in a shopping plaza. The flavors were limited and sometimes hard to disperse out. My favorite was cake batter. I really like that flavor. The toppings were also the fewest I've ever seen. The fruit looked like it's been sitting out for days. Didn't look fresh. Limited candy toppings and only a couple sprinkles. The prices were reasonable though. Would I come here again? Not unless I was in the immediate area but I'll try another place next time. read more

Froyo Fresh - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Tampa, Florida

They have a traveling froyo truck that will come to your neighborhood during COVID-19! My neighbors are doing all the work for me and arranging for food trucks to come to our neighborhood. All I have to do it put it on my calendar and show up. These are the best type of neighbors. The froyo truck parked in my neighbor's driveway and was there between 4 p.m. an 7 p.m. on a Wednesday. We could come any time during those hours. Froyo for dinner? Yes, please! The workers wore masks and there were cones on the ground to mark six feet apart. Still, with a window of three hours, we didn't have to wait in line. We saw neighbors coming and going, but we kept our distance. For $5 you get a cup of froyo and two toppings. For a dollar extra you could get homemade ice cream. Anything homemade captures my attention so I went for it. I got half peanut butter fudge and half salted caramel with butterfingers and reeses pieces for my toppings. Like I said, it was my dinner so I wanted all the calories! It did not disappoint. The workers were so friendly and it was a nice treat during this time. If you have a group of friends looking for a business to support, call them up and have their truck come out! read more

Was not impressed with Froyo. I went because of the reviews, but it wasn't what I was expecting. There weren't a lot of flavors to choose from or maybe I usually go to a place they offers more. I just moved here from Texas so I'm having to try a lot of new places out. This was my first yogurt place to try and I'd say I won't be back to this one. My husband and I neither one cared for it. It was clean and the employees were nice though. read more

The froyo tasted terrible and the service was terrible. The staff were rude and on their phones and remained unhelpful. They had minimal options for toppings and all were dried out. The machines for the froyo were hard to operate and seemed to be not working properly. Not all flavors were available. read more

Medicore to the max!! I can get better froyo from a multitude of places across the bay. Someone from the business reached out to me on IG and specially asked if I would bring my Mom friends and their kids in for some treats. I said sure, we'll come spend our money at your business. The group I came in with was a total of 12 people, moms and kids. The two staff helping us were super friendly when it was just us inside the froyo Shoppe. Then for some strange, weird reason, one of the employees started discriminating against us when another customer walked in. It was super bizzare and very inappropriate considering we had spent about $50 as a collective on some below par froyo. I actually reached out to the person about how we were treated and she justified her and her staff's actions because "they turned the tv on for the kids". I'll absolutely skip this place in the future! read more

This Froyo- frozen yogurt - is intriguing. If you are for that, they have the many flavors of frozen yogurt. It includes many toppings such as fresh fruit and candy. They also has smoothies with fresh fruit. There is one item you may want to try if you have not. It is yogurt Thai tea popping. I have the Thai tea mixed with regular yogurt. Then bottom with the mango popping. It is like Thai tea smoothies with boba. It is interesting to try. read more

We come to Froyo often because it's next door to my house. They make great shakes and our favorite is a DoleWhip smoothie which is amazing and so refreshing. It's not actually on the menu but ask for it for a nice surprise. read more

I am an avid Froyo Fresh customer due to it's convenience, sugar-free / dairy-free options, and incredible cookie dough topping. I would say the place has steadily decreased their variety of Frozen Yogurt flavors, which is disappointing. However, I'm sure it is related to demand so I understand. The store inside is pleasant and fun - very clean, organized, and colorful! I have been coming to this location for many years now and have always looked forward to my next visit. To top it off, Froyo Fresh has the BEST cookie dough topping I have ever had!! read more

Wanted to get froyo tonight and saw that this place was open till 10. When we drove up at 9:40 the door was locked yet the lights were still on. I totally understand that we came close to the closing time but the times should be adjusted online if closing times have changed. read more

Simply the best. The drive-thru makes it my favorite ice cream and FroYo joint in the area. Downside is that if there's even one vehicle in front of you, then you're gonna wait a while. But the ice cream flavors are varied and delicious, the Dole Whip is on point, and their hot fudge is the best this side of Kilwin's. Love this place! read more

Went there today, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. It was closed with no lights or sign, despite being "open" online.

I accidentally pulled up to Froyo Fresh while looking for parking for another restaurant in the same plaza and I am glad I saw this cute little spot! I went through the drive-thru and since no one was behind me, I decided to really take a good long look at the menu, it had so many options and tasty sounding toppings. I love that it has a small felling but plenty of variety on the menu. I opted for the acai raspberry bowl with pineapples, strawberries, chia seeds, and granola on top. It was a great price and pretty tasty. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because the fruit didn't seem as fresh as it could have been, I believe the pineapples were canned but overall the bowl was good. The woman at the window was so sweet and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. She made sure to put the bowl together exactly how I wanted and it was still very quick. I will be going back for sure! read more

I love love love coming here! I always grab a pup up for my moms dog. Because I normally am on the way to her house when I get some. And they are always extremely friendly. I brought my son and nephews here for boba and ice cream after school and they really enjoyed it too. I do wish they had original boba more. Because I have gone here more than 10 times and they never have it so I have tried a few boba flavors but they just aren't the same. Great service and super friendly so I will say those are the most important to me! read more

I love this place. Excellent, magical froyo. They have a wide variety of flavors, changed weekly. They include a few sugar free options as well, which I appreciate so much. The toppings are very nice, a wide assortment and the fresh ingredients always look perfect. Just fill up your cup and have it weighed and you're all set to enjoy your froyo. They also have homemade ice cream, and it is worth breaking your diet for. Sundaes, smoothies, shakes, these guys do it all. They are also incredibly friendly while they help you. 10/10 recommend this establishment. read more

Tanya and Matt what's happening? Your establishment is going down hill. What happened to the mature, responsible HS aged girls working there? They were fast, efficient and kept the place clean. Lately it's been dirty, chaotic and lacking the basics like HOT fudge. I know it sounds silly, but people like their hot fudge actually hot, not cold and a big glob like I found it today. 3 stars because its close and I like to support local businesses, but clean it up, hire back the old staff and offer hot fudge please. read more

I'm definitely a fan but I have to deduct a star since my last visit. The service is still great but I wish they would be more careful about making sure the toppings bar was fresher. Bottles of Hersey Syrup were empty when my brother reached for it. The cookie toppings were stale. There was a lack of care when it came to the presentation of the toppings. The fro-yo itself is still delicious and I love that they make it clear the nutritional value on each flavor. The toppings bar needs some attention nonetheless. Lighting in the store needs some work because at night it's pretty dark and dim. read more

When I really want a treat, I always know that Tanya will have a wonderful peanutbutter concoction available for me. Whether it's the traditional peanutbutter chocolate milkshake, a peanutbutter banana smoothie, or just plain peanutbutter frozen yogurt; I can always get my PB fix here in the "creamiest" way. I know I'm a bit of a nut for peanutbutter; but if there is anyone else out there like me, they'll love this place. And yes, for the more "normal" tastes - they always have a wonderful array of sweet and fruity flavors from which to choose. If I was in a fruity mood, I would likely choose the Hawaiian Smoothie made with pineapple and mango. As for my kids... they usually try all the flavors and then get a chocolate vanilla twist. But, they keep it exciting by choosing lots of fun toppings. You can make your own sundaes here. But watch out... when you get to the register, you pay by the ounce and those tantalizingly artistic treats, piled high, will cost you plenty. Excellent marketing... no small cups available. The owners take a lot of pride in this place and it's clear that your happiness is their happiness. read more

Froyo Fresh - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I stopped here today after seeing this several times when I've gone to Publix. I've been to other frozen yogurt spots before and this was similar with a twist - a lot more options on the menu (smoothies, ice cream, bowls). For me the biggest downside were the toppings were not very well marked - clearly some are very distinguishable, but the ones that are not just seemed to have a little sticker with a handwritten description. This was the least expensive frozen yogurt spot I've ever been to so I'm sure we will be back!! **The hours on the door do not list hours for Sunday and the hours on Yelp state they are closed on Sunday - but they were very much open today (Sunday)** read more

I'm a big fan of Coldstone Creamery, but I'd have to give this place the nod as the best. Don't let the froyo in the name fool you. Sure, they have all manner of frozen yogurt, but they have real ice cream too, and its the best in Tampa Bay. And if that doesn't satisfy your sweet tooth, they have the most amazing self service toppings bar where you pay by weight. This gives extra chocolate chips a whole new meaning! The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, service is good and the place is clean and well organized. It is worth it to come here after a good meal even if you have to drive a bit. You won't be disappointed. And if you are, an extra scoop of chocolate chips and marshmallows ought to fix you right up! read more

So, interesting little spot in a great and easily accessible location in Westchase. Really friendly, helpful staff, a little cluttered but easy to get to toppings and so forth, and great tasting gluten-free/sugar-free/fat-free (?) Froyo... I loved it. We had the delight of visiting Froyo last week for the second time after many years. It didn't disappoint! The same fabulous yummy Yogurt with adorable upgrades to the shop. The staff were delightful, however, our experience was tarnished by a very ugly encounter with a nasty woman complaining about complying with a mask request. I felt so bad for the young staff trying to navigate a very uncomfortable situation. With Florida having the highest number of COVID cases, and the epicenter of the entire country, every business owner should be implementing the most basic protection--masking. The onslaught of attacks & threats by this customer on the staff was truly appalling. We all have rights but when someone's "rights" have a direct impact on my life and safety and those of my loved ones, this can no longer be viewed as your rights. read more

It's really hard to mess up an ice cream shop. They have a ton of flavors of ice cream and Froyo. They also have milkshakes, smoothies, so many goodies. We've come here a few times and will continue to. They even have a deuce in windo, which makes getting a quick sweet treat super convenient. It is in a great location, in the Westchase Publix plaza. The only compliant (which I'm shocked to not see in any other reviews) is that the shop really needs a good scrub down. It just looks dirty, and needs to be updated. You can tell the floors haven't been scrubbed and the counter top hasn't been wiped in a long time. The floors, the walls, the decor- it definitely is heavily used and should have furniture that can support that use. It should be cleaned properly, especially since a lot of kids come in here. read more

Froyo is awesome! They change up their flavors almost every week. I love the amount of choices in toppings. They have a small children's area with little toys and a tv which I think is nice in case the parents want a break. I love how the owner personalized every inch of the decor with her daughters artwork and pictures (daughter is very young). There's a rocking chair table with checkers to play as you eat your icecream and two small outside seating areas. Love love love this place. Very clean as well. read more
