(this is from their wholesaler, hes the one buying the cars for the dealer) I had to do my own research and dig where the history of the vehicle came from the the price they listed it for is over double the price they got it for. One sale agent tells one they had to put money into it thus the car cost more, another sales agent tells me no money is put into it as it is "sold as is" information are not consistent. They had the tone to ask me "if you're really interested come visit and check the car" I already told three times you get me the details of the vehicle or visiting your dealership from 1 hour away would be a pointless visit, and why would I not be interested if I AM THE ONE SEARCHING AND INQUIRING ABOUT THE VEHICLE, logic much? better off buying from a real dealership for same price, at least I wont be mislead with information.

I followed my fave mechanic to the Brampton location and although it's a bit of a treck, it's worth it. I can't say enough about the Service staff at this location, they are all excellent, they know their stuff, they never try to add on stuff I don't need and they are always friendly and courteous. As a matter of fact, it's thanks to the Parts Manager, John, that I found my current Subie, and bought it for a DREAM price. As a female, I truly appreciate having service staff that I know I can trust. It has not always been the case and I have been the victim of the fast talking, slick service people who con you into signing for much more than you originally needed. Note: I can't say too much good about the Subaru itself. Mine have all been used, and high mileage, but very reliable. My first was a 1996 Legacy wagon which I had for 10 years and which only died after losing a wheel and wrecking an axel in a pothole. The next was 1998 Outback wagon, which kept going until 2012 when it too succumbed to bad roads. My current 2004 has been performing like a champ. These are vehicles that are built to last.

Walking in armed with a CarCostCanada report, I was able to sit with the sales rep and have a signed deal that worked for both of us in about an hour. Also this is the only dealer that I've brought my car to for service. Dean from the service department represents the brand well, and his quite passionate about the work that he and his group do. Downsides: The street around the dealership is littered with parked inventory and staff vehicles, making Canam effectively a 1 lane road, which makes pulling out of the dealership a little tricky.

Our salesman John was easygoing and friendly, and replied to emails quickly and made sure all our questions were answered. I wouldn't recommend this showroom to anyone because you can buy parts anywhere, but good service and proper customer treatment are essential.
