Excellent product selection. Website easy to use. Great shipping communication and Great customer service.

I ordered Blantons at considerable markup and it arrived promptly and in good condition. Today, I was advertised 15% off sitewide so I returned to the website to purchase a bottle of Weller Antique 107 I've been eyeing for a while. I was told because the price was low they couldn't honor the discount. This is blatant false advertisement which is an illegal and deceptive business practice. Will not deal with them again and I don't recommend that you do so either. read more

An excellent experience. Fast shipping and extremely well packaged. Also at a very good price. Thank you Frootbat!

If Frootbat sends you the wrong bottle, expect to be offered multiple small discounts to keep it before they provide a legitimate return option. Be prepared to cover the cost and effort of printing labels, repackaging the item, and driving it to a shipping location yourself. In my experience, meaningful return accommodations were not offered until after I posted a negative review and disputed the charge with my card company. It felt as though the company was more focused on managing reviews than resolving the issue through straightforward customer service. It took six months for a return option to be offered -- and only on the condition that I remove the negative reviews. By this point, I no longer trust the company enough to proceed with the return process. Overall, this was not an acceptable customer experience and required far more time and effort than it ever should have. I would not recommend this company. I'm sharing this so others understand what they may encounter before making a purchase. read more

Have made multiple purchases. Very competitive pricing. Quick shipping, Quality Products and GREAT customer service.

Just as others have warned, shady reseller. I placed an order for a 2018 Hibiki Anniversary Edition, received a confirmation, credit card was charged, and then I waited. Was not til I reached out and contacted them a week later (in that time I received absolutely zero updates) that they informed me the bottle was no longer available due to the bottle not meeting their quality standards, and instead offered me an entirely different Hibiki edition. I declined only to then notice the same bottle I had originally ordered was still available on their website, but at a $500 higher price point - Horrible experience, and will for sure take my business elsewhere. read more

Frootbat has top notch customer service. Great packaging, fast delivery!! Will definitely be ordering again

First shipment was lost in transit. Frootbat customer service was quick to fix the issue, sent another bottle via FedEx. It arrived quickly, and safely. I will continue to use Frootbat in the future for hard to find bourbons. read more

This is my second purchase from Frootbat. As the first time this last transaction was great. I had a small issue at the time of the order but customer service fixed it promptly. Shipping was extremely fast even though it was delayed by a day due to weather. The packaging is top notch and I don't see how it could get damaged. I will buy again from Frootbat. read more

Excellent customer service. I had an issue with my order and they went above and beyond to correct it. I will return.

Customer service is top notch. Delivery and shipping are quick. Web site is easy to use and they make finding the hard to find bottles ...super easy....highly recommend! read more

They say the have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I ordered a $228 bottle of Blanton's black as a gift for a friend. It was damaged in shipment and leaked in the packaging. I immediately contacted them with pictures and details. They offered a $16 refund to cover the damages. They can keep the $16 dollars. Lots of other options out there. They certainly would not pay their supplier if they showed up with damaged inventory, yet that's what they expect of their customers. read more

My order from Frootbat was delivered as promised. Tracking the entire process through delivery was easy. The way they pack their products lets me know I can oder products and not have to worry about breakage. I thought the pricing of the products was reasonable. They answered my questions and had great follow up. Nice company to do business with. read more

Bait & Switch tactics. Would do ZERO stars if I could. Ordered 2 bottles of small batch bourbon for Christmas. Order was confirmed and a delivery date set for 12/23. Received 2 bottles of ordinary bourbon on 12:26. Contacted Frootbat and they offered to make it right. Next communication was so sorry but we can't get that bourbon. I requested a refund for the difference since what I bought was more expensive than what was sent. Today's response was that the ordinary bourbon they sent is actually priced higher today than what I ordered: however that is completely untrue when I checked their website site prices. Disreputable, dishonest and disceptive. read more

Frootbat - Example of super long shipping process - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Lewes, Delaware

Ordered a bottle of Blanton's Special Reserve from them and couldn't be happier or more satisfied. The price was the best I've seen it so I was anxious but decided to pull the trigger. I ordered the bottle on Saturday afternoon, June 29th, and it arrived today, July 2nd. The bottle arrived in perfect condition. The box was the correct size and it was secured with 2 inflatable bottle bags. There was no leakage or a cracked wax ring. The Blanton's box was folded in with the bottle as well. My lone issue is they didn't include the bag. Not a huge issue since I have many other bags just sitting in a drawer. I hope my further order goes just as well. read more

I have ordered from this company before with no issue. However, I ordered and paid for insurance protection for a bottle of rum which was an Xmas gift. It arrived and the plastic seal was broken as well as the gold top cap. I sent pics to company and asked for refund. I paid for insurance protection as well. They did not offer a free return of the product and only offered a small credit of $3.40. This is unacceptable. I would never recommend ordering from this company. read more

extremely poor customer service bait and switch tactics they will sell you a bottle then they won't deliver it because magically it's not available. they take your order but don't deliver what you ordered instead the try to switch you into something you didn't purchase very sketchy can not recommend read more

I would NOT recommend frootbat anymore. I've been a loyal customer for years but after my most recent experience I can't go back. I purchased three bottles (JD 14 and 18 yr redemption x2) for the price they had on their site. My purchase was completed, card charged. Then 8 days go by, the JD shows up but I get email saying the two bottles of redemption rye were priced incorrectly and they can't source them so they will either refund or I can have a credit. With the refund I get 30 days to use a 10% off coupon. Guess what , their system will find a way on fees to get that 10% back so useless and it's capped at $100. Meanwhile I check the site and the redemption I've been waiting 8 days on is advertised for sell but 4 times the price they sold to me! That's terrible customer service! Good customer service would get me my product for what I purchased it at and fix the issue so it doesn't happen again. Stay away from frootbat they don't honor their prices as advertised. read more

Frootbat - Bad customer service - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Lewes, Delaware

Frootbat has now joined the ranks of other substandard, greed ridden, anti consumer online alcohol delivery businesses. They were one of the few remaining companies that provided fair pricing, safe shipping and a responsive customer service option. Unfortunately, Frootbat has fallen victim to placing corporate profits above consumer relationships. I shopped and purchased a bottle as a gift some weeks ago. I arrived to the event without a gift because Frootbat chose not to honor the transaction due to a pricing "error". They waited weeks to address the issue and offered a few unacceptable options as a resolution. My response prompted an immediate cancellation of my order and a 10% discount ( with a cap ) for a future order. This company only cares about money, Shoppers BEWARE!!! read more

Frootbat - Frootbat Listing "Error" - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Lewes, Delaware

I have ordered from Frootbat 4 times. My first three orders went ok but the orders were slow to ship and arrive. You have to watch their pricing because it can change before you check out. My last order for a case of Austin Hope was a disaster. I spent hours calling and emailing their weak customer service team and checking in with FedEx. I am not sure which company is worse -- Frootbat or FedEx! After waiting 3 weeks for the wine to arrive, I gave up and filed a dispute with AMEX. Be sure to watch their pricing because they will trick if you are not careful. Never again. read more

I have ordered many times and always had a good outcome. I used customer service on my last order due to my delivery address changed and was assisted promptly and my order was updated. Yes, the prices are inflated but you are able to get the hard to find items. I will continue to order with confidence. read more

Buyer Beware!! Will never purchase from the site again. Took over 11 days to receive order (3 wines) when the site says 3-5 days. Shipping label was created and FedEx waited 6 days to receive the shipment. Wine was received heat damaged and undrinkable- wax tops were popped off, corks were 1/3 way out with seepage over the bottles. When contacting customer service I had to email multiple pictures, multiple times (I included pictures in my original email). Their response time was very slow. After 4 days or so of back and forth they tried to only give 20% off order. They wanted me to eat $100+ on wine that was not drinkable. I kept requesting a replacement order. Days later they responded with 40% off. I continued to refuse the offering asking for a full replacement. No response for almost a week. Checked my credit card and they issued the 40% refund. I wasn't about to throw away $80 on undrinkable wine. I disputed the charge with my CC company. Only the did they respond saying they would replace the shipment. Took a couple days and they sent me a return shipping label. I was told once they receive the damaged items they would send a replacement shipment. Took another 5 days after receiving the return to ask if I wanted a replacement or refund. At this time it was 6 weeks after the original order. Their customer service was joke and was definitely AI generated. The audacity to ask to throw away $100 (then $80) on a product that couldn't be consumed. Super slow response times and unwillingness to make things right. If I didn't dispute the charge I would still be waiting for a resolution. Unless you prefer undrinkable wine, slow shipping, and awful customer service, I would strongly recommend not ordering from Frootbat. read more

I have ordered three times from from this company. The bottles have arrived safely. Excellent product fast shipping.

RUN!! This place sucks when it comes to fulfillment and customer service. They messed up at least 4 seperate orders. Promised that they had the rare bottles of whiskey I paid for them upfront adn then ALL 4 times sent the wrong bottle. Frootbat really are excellent. They have a great range of whiskey and bourbon at great prices and I've ordered a lot of great whiskey and bourbon from them. Frootbat is a high-priced broker of spirits with no integrity. Ordered an expensive bottle of single malt scotch and because of the good price decided to order three additional bottles which I could have purchased elsewhere for much less. Notified by Frootbat that the expensive bottle was not available because they could not buy it for less than what was posted on their website. They had no interest in honoring their pricing and cancelled the order for the expensive bottle and left me with three over-priced bottles. For the inconvenience, they offered a discount against my next purchase but with a $22 delivery fee per bottle, there was no way I wanted to buy anything. After checking, Frootbat considers a discount the same as a coupon and they would not allow applying a discount with a coupon. My advice is stay away from Frootbat. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a bottle of Weller and received a bottle of Penelope Light American Whiskey. After days of back and forth they admitted that "that our partner merchant has informed us that your order was possibly mixed up with a different customer and we are currently in contact with another customer who possibly received your order." (exact quote from them). They then said they were not able to speak with the other customer. I then said I didn't care if they hadn't spoken to the other customer, I still didn't have the bottle I had ordered 2 weeks prior. I still don't have the correct bottle, even after sending the wrong bottle back to them. No offer for future discounts or even comping the bottle; just hollow apologies. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! read more

Order placed 11 days ago. My credit card was charged. Order says " in transit", yet no tracking number provided, like every OTHER seller, including Grandma on Etsy! The amount of stress and correspondence that went along with trying to locate my order will never be forgotten. I'm so stressed out that I don't even want any alcohol for a while. So maybe dealing with them is a form of rehab. I was told forty different stories from forty different reps. Opened a claim with Fedex who claimed they delivered the bottle and had some bogus signature. I had it delivered to my mailbox service where a very capable crew signs for it...nobody by the bogus name works there. I tried to get the original shippers info from Footbat but they would not give it to me. They claimed they couldn't cover the loss because I had it shipped to a maiilbox. They claimed it was being shipped from out of the country but it was shipped from somewhere in New York. It was a super expensive bottle and it was never delivered. I contacted my bank for fraud. Worst online ordering experience of my life. I'll be scarred for life. I wish I had gone with my gut instinct. I believe nothing was ever shipped. read more

Had a very bad experience with Frootbat this week. 'Purchased' 2 bottles of bourbon. Prior to shipment, I was told the bottle of Dark Arts 6.5 YO I bought was actually Dark Arts 7 YO Rye, and I was asked if I still wanted it? No. They offered me a 10% off coupon for their error. The other bottle I thought I had purchased was a Bib & Tucker 10 YO Cask Strength limited edition. The bottle I received was the regular B&T 10 YO. After two emails and 6 attached images, they offered to sell me the bottle I received at a price higher then I can buy it for locally and half off shipping. They too are an online reseller that uses liquor stores across the USA to source and ship bottles for them. They blamed their supply merchant for the error. Funny how circled notes on the invoice noted they knew they were shipping the wrong bottle. Lastly, they sent me a UPS return ship label to ship the bottle back to them. I believe it is against the law for private citizens to ship alcohol via UPS? When I told them I would not ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx with my name as the shipper, they quickly set up a pick up from a shipper that is licensed to ship liquor. They also took responsibility as the shipper. They know the laws; they were lazy and tried to save a couple of on the return costs, or maybe they thought I didn't know the law or would look at who they named as shipper? Maybe you've had great experiences with them? My experience was a Sh*t Show. read more
