We had drive past VEG the day before and decided to take him there. So glad that we did. Turns out excessive panting is dog for, "Oh man I hurt bad!" From the minute we walked in, we were amazed at this place. Open bay concept, where it is like one giant room with multiple vets and staff, taking care of maybe 10 patients at once. I had never seen anything quite like it. What a busy place! We probably saw 20 patients all together, get serviced while Barkley was X-rayed and managed. Staff was amazing, docs were competent and caring... we are kinda sad that they only do ER. Glad they are here in case we ever need them again.

So here's the deal. If you're going to be out of town, they will go to your house, walk your dog, and throw in some play time. If you want to make sure your plants don't die, or if you don't feel like putting in a mail stop, that will be taken care of as well. The service is fantastic. I got updates on Facebook of my little ones. As I live far away, I dropped my dogs off at Kimmer's. Thank goodness there was room. The dogs were spoiled. How do I know you ask? Well, I have one dog that will be happy no matter what. The other dog is a rescue and has some personality issues, which is reflected in her being terrified of everything. This little doggie was very calm when I went to pick her up. She let herself be picked up (which is a HUGE deal), and she was happy to show emotion when she saw me (she generally does not do that around people). It's amazing. You can't go wrong with Kimmer's Kennel!

Do you set up an appointment, drive your dog to said appointment, drag them inside said groomer's office, gleefully hand over the leash after explaining exactly how poofy you want your pup's lion cut tail to be, and then come back several hours later to a dog that now hates your very existence and looks nothing like a poofy lion?! Fear no more, because Kennie and Melissa are your new van driving heroes! Now you just make a phone call and they will do ALL OF IT for you! Talk about taking convenience to a whole new level. I'm not afraid my husky will end up shaved and growing out a horrible coat afterwards, my akita gets a nice cool cut that grows back perfectly, and though I cannot attest to it, I'm pretty positive the small breed babes are in good hands too :) If you want all of the benefits of taking your dog to a groomer with none of the sales gimmicks or emotional scarring, go to You Lucky Dog!!!

Amberlynn from Happy Tails - A True Gem…read more We've had our fair share of petsitters, but Amberlynn from Happy Tails is something special. She's got this natural way with animals that's just amazing to see. Our puppies took to her like she was part of the pack from the get-go. It's clear they adore her, and honestly, we can see why. Amberlynn does more than just the usual feed-and-walk routine. She really gets to know our pups, giving them the kind of attention and love they need when we're not around. It's comforting to see how well they respond to her; it's like they've known her forever. What we love about Amberlynn is how down-to-earth and genuine she is. She's not just checking off a list; she's there, in the moment, with our puppies. It's that level of care and connection that makes us trust her completely, especially when we're out of town or out of the country. With her, it's not just about safety (which she's great at, by the way); it's about making our puppies feel happy and at ease. Every time we book her through Happy Tails, we know we're leaving our pups in great hands. Amberlynn's just got this way about her, a real animal whisperer. If you're looking for someone who'll love your pets as much as you do, she's your go-to. We're super grateful to have found her and Happy Tails. Amberlynn is truly one of a kind.
