I accepted a proposal for the purchase and installation of a new computer. The proposal included…read more"Onsite/In-Home Service after remote diagnosis (performed by Absolute Communications) 3 years". I purchased the computer on April of 2015. This past April a tech had to come on-site, after repeated attempts to resolve the issue remotely, to fix the issue. In the process of the repair, all of our accounting data was lost. Excuses were made, and lies were told regarding how and why the data was lost. At one point, someone attempted to point the blame in my direction! I then spent 22 hours, over the next 1.5 weeks, re-entering date from Jan '16 - April '16. In short, I was able to direct them to restoring past data, from an old computer. This whole mess resulted in complete and permanent loss of March "15 - Dec '15 accounting data. Never once was an apology uttered. I later discovered that they were planning on charging over $1,000 for the "work" that was performed when I called to make a request: To compensate me for 22 hours of my time that it took to re-enter 2016 data, which was taken from other duties in need of attention. That is when I found out they planned on charging me over $1000. I was told at that time that the time I spent could possibly be credited to the amount we owed. I then began disputing the matter of the 3 year service agreement, according to the proposal I accepted. After several months and multiple attempts via telephone and email, they have finally officially refused to honor the proposal submitted by their company. They did not send the bill, as they were able to collect the amount from Dell under my computer's warranty. They have tried to claim that a mistake was made in the preparation of the proposal and that certain words should not have been included as well as certain words "shouldn't be on that specific line". I feel that this was, in essence, a bait and switch. We are a small nonprofit organization and I feel that everyone should know how this company conducts business. The service agreement was one of the top reasons I purchased with Absolute Communications as this made me feel confident in quick responses and a personal relationship with the company that would be performing any repairs, etc....

He gave me all the pricing and everything upfront before i made my decision on what phone i wanted to go with. I was looking to also get a watch but there were no promos so i decided to wait. He did however explain to me how the phone actually works and how it has a northern number but doesn't ever use it. That helped me understand it better then the customer service did over the phone. This actually like T-Mobile a tad bit more. He also saved me a bit on my plan so that was a bonus. Other than that i still do not like T-Mobile but the only reason i stay with them is because nobody will give you the same price as T-Mobile. At least for now, until they decide to go up.

Every single time, no matter the time of day I have to wait for someone to help me for a very very long time. Also I wanted the purple iPhone, they only had red and black. They are never stocked up on phones. I have bought several iPhones for everyone in my family and on more than one occasion we had to settle for something that we really didn't want but we needed a phone and didn't have time to drive across town to a different T-Mobile. Please stock up on phones and hire more people T-Mobile. Get it together.

In our area we have 4 options, grande, AT&T, dish, and time warner. I have been with grande for…read moreover 10 years now but have on a few occasions thought about leaving for a better deal. Each time I do my research I end up staying with Grande. Nobody can get close to the 400 Mbps speed, time warner is the fastest @ 50 and at&t brags about their "super fast" 12 Mbps! Grande like all of the other companies has low entry packages that begin to creep up after 6 months so you have to change plans every 6-12 months to keep getting the best deal. This is why they lose a star. Service is better than any I have seen, tech support is in Texas! Technicians give you specific time frames and call before they show up for installations. I am sticking with them but be warned grande, AT&T is putting fiber optic lines in my neighborhood so I will be reviewing my plan as soon as they roll out their new offers.....gotta love free market competition!
