I've been going to Mint Dental since 2018 and it's been a consistent experience overall. The front…read moredesk is easy to work with, especially for scheduling and insurance questions. I had my wisdom teeth removed here and the healing was quicker than I expected. I've also seen a few different providers and everyone has been kind and informative. They're good about explaining things--I've picked up better flossing habits over time. Cleanings are straightforward, fluoride is quick, and the view during appointments is a nice bonus. This office has been a really reliable place for dental care which is why I've stayed with them for so long.

I left in tears. Although I was not previously a patient, (due to no insurance), my husband was,…read moreand this seemed like a great place to go for dental needs. The office was nice, the people were nice, the scheduling was very flexible, so when I finally became insured, I knew my teeth weren't in good shape, but I made an appointment to start what was sure to be a long dental journey. Boy was I wrong. The first thing was the cleanliness, or lack of. The chair/area I was seated in, was VERY dirty. The overhead light was completely covered with, IDK what you call it, when you floss and flecks of debris fly out of your mouth and hit the mirror, I am sure it has an official name, but whatever it is called, the light looked like it hadn't been wiped or washed in quite a long time. But then the hygienist kept touching the light to move it around, then kept putting her fingers in my mouth, to take an X-ray. And I know it must be a real pain to change gloves constantly, but you cannot go into the other room, use the computer and the keyboard, adjust the light, and touch God knows what else, and then put your fingers in my mouth. I was horrified and kept thinking to myself, this cannot be normal. The worst part, and the reason for the tears, was that I had been looking forward to going to the dentist for awhile. I had a few problems with different teeth, I definitely needed a cleaning, and I had very recently lost one of my front teeth in an accident, so I was very eager to make a plan for that. When the dentist came into the room, after looking at my X-rays, I was told that all they could and would do, is pull all of my teeth and give me dentures. I was in no way prepared to hear this news, and it very much devastated me. I asked about fixing the one missing tooth, and was told insurance wouldn't pay for it, since apparently dentures seemed to be my only option. But if I wanted to pay for it myself, I was quoted $1400. And that was it. No cleaning? Nope, not going to waste time cleaning your teeth when we are just going to rip them all out. Sadly, my experience was not at all was I had expected. My husband still goes, and has no problem. But me and my teeth have moved on to a place that let me keep my teeth.

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! MONEY HUNGRY PROVIDER! SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Only out for your INSURANCE…read moreMONEY ! I schedule an appointment for a cleaning ! Keep in mind a ROUTINE CLEANING! They called me 5 times and sent a message before my appointment! I get there and they wanted to do X-Rays no problem. They did a full CAT SCAN & BLOOD PRESSURE WEIRD! It took the young lady 35 mins to do the X-Rays. Very new and not confident in her work! Then the doctor told her she needed to redo them. The provider came in and look at my teeth and said we normally do this before we start. She went on to tell me all these things that were incorrect from my recent provide. because I receive four cleanings a year. So then she had the financial guy come over and talk to me about money and she never returned! She said I needed a deep cleaning .. $1870 after insurance $400! That's the craziest thing I've ever hear. She didn't even come back to face me like a woman and tell me, I took off work spent 2 hours there only for me to leave without having my teeth clean! SHE IS A HORRIBLE DENTAL PROVIDER! SHE IS ONLY OUT FOR MONEY ! DO NOT GO !

The girl who assisted the dentist was very calming and professional. They wiped everything down with wipes immediately after use. The cleanest facility I've been to. The dentist himself was the most thorough and informative I've ever seen. Even down to the girl who polished my teeth. Very friendly. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone going to this place, that's how nice they are. Glacier dental, where have you been all my life?!?

Ok, this is going to be a lengthy review! Sit tight…read more I left another practice in Anchorage because of miscommunication. I do not hide the fact that I am not a fan of dentist offices. What helps me with my anxiety is trust. I like to see the same person again and again. So, a little mix-up at previous office has caused me to no longer feel confident about the dentist. I figured I should empower myself to find an office that I can learn to trust practitioners again. Libby Group didn't have that much of review and that was my first doubt. But I am so happy to trust my instincts and some friends' word of mouth. I went for it and made an appointment. First, the office is really very cozy! They are not fancy with the TV and being able to watch Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned (like my previous office) but I have found that establishing trust and good relationship with my dentist to be much more important eventually! The office also has AMAZING view of mountains, OH MY! I thought that my first appointment would be an hour or less...WRONG! I filled out a very comprehensive personality traits questionnaire then was schooled very clearly about my oral health after examinations. They used a tiny camera to take pictures of my teeth and an iPad to explain what work needs to be done on that particular molars. I have never learned so much about my own oral health in one sitting. Enough to want to do better for myself. Dr. Libby is a tall, friendly, and warm lad that I have come to slowly trust. He openly admit that he will not be perfect but he will always try his best and that is enough. I asked them to keep the same people: assistant, hygienist, and doctor whenever I come in. They are happy to oblige to that. I have been there for three separate visits. Lastly, my few favorite things about the office: cool outdoorsy swags you get after your visit, not having to sit for long time in the lobby which makes my anxiety much worse, and staff greeting me in sign language whenever I come in! FYI: I currently see Nikki for my cleanings (this chick is awesome! I feel like she's on my team to help me have healthier gums) Dr. Libby as my DDS, and my all time favorite assistant Kristen who is an angel FYI. (She held my hand when I got a huge shot in my mouth)
