The daily round trip for treatments between her home in Longmont and the hospital is 100 miles. My daughter doesn't drive and her loving hubby was burning through his FMLA benefit at work. He had been taking time off of work since the discovery of the tumors in April to take his wife to her numerous (and scary) medical appointments and treatments. When I returned to Chicago, a friend asked if I had researched whether there was any shuttle or transport services similar to what we've seen in our hometown. The next morning, Sunday, I sent an email to a couple transport service companies based in the Boulder/Longmont area looking for resources. Within an hour, Simon, had responded to me and he immediately proposed a transport solution that would support both my daughter's daily medical treatments and her hubby's dwindling benefit days. Not knowing him or his company, she put her faith in Eight Black for the next 6 weeks. Today, this round of radiation treatment is over. My daughter had put her trust in Eight Black's hands and they took care of her like their own. This man and his company were angels sent from heaven at a very scary and challenging time as he and his team executed flawlessly (and daily) just as he proposed. I explicitly told them multiple times that we had to exit by 11:30 PM because that's whenever we no longer had access to the venue in Lyons, Colorado and they listed that time in the contract. At about 10:45, I'd never received a communication from our driver, so I reached out in the driver informed me that he would not be arriving until about 1 AM. That left us scrambling at the last possible moment to figure out a way to make our final departure. While we did get our money back, we are still obviously incredibly frustrated with the service that phat limo (didn't) provide. For $900, you think we would at least be able to get some sort of communication or a offer of another vehicle to take care of our final departure for our wedding. If you need a company that can be prompt, professional, and communicative to any potential delays, please stay far away from phat limo.
