A cheese shop and cheese education center located in the historic Munster valley. It is owned by a…read moregroup of local farmers so it's really more There is also a restaurant and gift shop all and small Museum centered around the local Munster cheese of the region. We stopped in as a part of a food tour with Alsaciette Food tour to learn about the cheese making process and taste some fresh cheese. An English speaking host walked us through the process for making Munster cheese from start to finish (around 20 minutes). Following his presentation we sat down and tasted about 8 cheeses from the mornings soft curds with spices, to various flavored cheeses to a dessert cheese with sugar and cherry brandy. The cheeses were excellent.
