Her past experiences of visiting H&M have only been in shopping malls, so she was quite excited to visit this free standing H&M with 2 floors. On the 1st floor..we found ladies, accessories and denim. On the 2nd floor was men, accessories, denim and kids. Now that my kid is a tween she felt that the kids department styles were too baby and wanted to browse the ladies department. We weren't lucky in finding anything that she liked this visit but I would definitely consider shopping at this H&M whenever I am in the area again.

I went for my first time 2 weeks ago to get some clothes for my son who is two, he wears a size 3T or 4T depending on the brand. I didn't find much (6 pants and a toy) and usually I leave with 2 huge bags -- from other locations. Upon entering the store it seemed clean and organized till you reach the back toy section and side wall with all the infant products; just a unorganized mess of stuff! I couldn't believe the price they're asking for half of the items they have in their store -- definitely one of the pricier locations I've been to. Most items weren't even half off the original price from major retailers so just pay attention to what you're buying used, especially when you can get it from the retailer themself on sale, brand new for cheaper. I don't think I'll shop there again, however I will sell them my used stuff if they're racking their prices for their products must mean they're buying items for more (probably not, but we'll see)

Independence Mall has been around since 1979, opening in the heyday of American mall culture with Belk-Beery, JCPenney, and Sears as its original anchors. A fourth wing came along in 2001 to make room for Dillard's, and the place has seen a fair bit of redesign since then. These days, it leans more open and airy, with nods to Wilmington's coastal vibe. We weren't in a hurry, so we mostly wandered just taking it in. We ducked into a couple of shops, browsed a bit, and yes, came away with the Bath & Body Works haul we'd hoped for.
