This is sort of a reply to the first review, nom they are not obligated to take your truck loads of bottles if they are full of garbage as well. It does not matter where they come from, if it's got a significant amount of garbage in it, they will not take it. If the bottles are too dirty, aka full of pop and or cigarettes, sticky, crushed, etc etc. They will not take them. If all the botttles have the caps on them, they will not take them. They DO have rules for a reason, and frankly they're not that hard to follow. I have been bringing my bottles back to Fritz's for my whole life and they are always swift, nice, and have never shorted me. You can even make their job easier by counting the bottles you put in a bag and writing the number in the outside of the bag. They count them anyway though, just in case you're thinking of snorting them. The best thing you can do for these people to get co sistently good service and not be turned away, all you need to do is rinse out your recyclables, (it only takes a minute after you're done drinking the beverage. Come on now. it's not that hard.) remove the caps and recycle those accordingly, and try to make sure the cans and bottles don't get too mangled, crushed or broken. They will not pay you for a broken bottle and broken glass can hurt people, especially if it's hidden in a bag at the bottom or something so please be careful! And last but not least, do not add other garbage to the bag, they will not take it. Not to mention that if it's come straight from Michelin, if it's got garbage in it then the bottle bifocals have not been rinsed and the caps have obviously not been removed. That is why you were turned away. Completely unfair to blame the workers there for your own laziness. It's not a great job, no one wakes up in the morning and goes ahhh I love sorting through bottles cans and garbage!! But someone has to do it, so why not make that already crappy job just a little bit easier and better by just following the rules?? They used to take bottles and cans that were not rinsed but that means that the processing factory that they go to had to rinse them instead, which was costing hundreds of thousands of dollars alone. Just to rinse bottles. That's not even counting having to remove the caps by themselves either! So the 5 seconds it takes to rinse your beverage container after you're done with it really does make a huge difference. read more
